This is a very beautiful hotel. The spa is amazing and not to be missed, as is the ocean front open air bar. Wonderful experience! Add to it beautiful and welcoming Balinese people and you will be very happy.

Really friendly great place everyone has to go here at least once in there life put it on your bucket list.

Amazing hotel, great location but the service from check in to pool attendant to restaurant waiters is just out of this world, the attention to details is just outstanding.

Stayed 7 nights with my husband in a one bedroom villa to celebrate my 60th birthday. The villa was stunning, amazing pool and so spacious. The staff at the W Bali are beyond compare for their thoughtfulness and friendliness. We look forward to coming back again and again.

Haven’t been here in awhile. But on this return trip I found the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. All very polite but not overly friendly. The hotel is well maintained even if starting to look a little tired. The breakfast was very good and the lobby bar was exactly what I needed.

Great atmosphere, music and perfect beach views to catch the sunset.

Not trustful place.
I was forced to cancel my staying at W Bali due COVID19. I have requested the refund, I have been trying to get a refund for almost 4 months now. The only thing I get is general answers, no follow up, lack of honest. I wouldn’t trust not even 1 cent of my holidays in this place as they are acting awfully. No integrity, no honest, no consideration.

Beautiful Place, super romantic atmosphere and amazing delicacy, I celebrated my birthday there last year in May and it was wonderful to be at such an amazing place. We had a great Time, this place has such positive energy all around. All the amenities with this place were awesome also being centrally located it becomes easy to move around too. Thanks W Bali.

Nice staff very warm welcome. The swimming pool have a nice vibe and you felt so close to the sea. We just had lunch and cocktails and there were really good.

They have amazing crew, cleanliness is top notch and amazing amenities available for a short romantic getaway.

Dropped in for a drink and a bite to eat. Dane was very welcoming & lovely. We sat on lounge seats & watched the big surf. She brought icy cold beer & some tasty snacks. We were so impressed we ordered a light lunch and would recommend EVERY item we selected… roast duck paper rolls (divine), mango & papaya salad (swoon. Very beautifully made) and roast sweet corn in garlic butter (yum).
Definitely recommend going here for a treat & hope you get to enjoy one of the lounges facing the ocean.

Don't get me wrong we loved the W and the 1BR pool villa but it was inhouse cost and personal attention as well as inconsistent cleaning that meant you were paying a premium for the privilege, not the experience. Still waiting for our promised membership after requesting it 3 times… There are many W hotels that deliver a great experience don't get me wrong, and there were great parts of our stay, but the quality of service needs improvement…

Beyond excellent. From the moment you arrive they treat you like a VIP. The staff at W Bali really enjoy their job. Also, the facilities are really good. Beautiful pool and beach access. Food good too. Will be back.

Expensive for what is. Some rooms marketed as “garden view” have no “garden” to view. Maintenance needs to be improved as aging is been seen. Service is good but check in and check out is rigid. — Got a non-response to the review and as stated the managers provided lip service with no change/compensation to correct/rectify or even address the situation satisfactorily — at this price point — one should get better response…

This has got to be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in all my travels. From the room sizes which are massive, to the staff who will literally not let you lift a finger! They are all so friendly and accommodating. This is a big ask and they are continuously there for anything your heart desires. The food is absolutely exceptional. There is really no need to leave the hotel because it is all here for you. This is beautiful for honeymooners to families or just a couple wanting to go away for a holiday. We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary & the moment they found out they surprised us with anniversary cocktails waiting for us in our hotel room. My only problem is having to leave this beautiful place but The W Bali we will definitely be back & telling all our family & friends to stay at The W! Thank you for a wonderful holiday & experience.

Thanks for ruining our Sunday lunch plans by mucking up our booking and telling us you couldn’t accommodate our party of 4. Apparently you believed we go to afternoon tea at 12 midday. And quite frankly your alternative was unsatisfactory an appallingly inadequately option. Never ever again.

Wonderful Experience… Best Property In Bali.

W hotel is known for its great service. The experience at W Bali did not disappoint and could totally live up to its good service reputation with five star hotel facilities. Hotel offers convenient location in Seminyak with five star matching restaurants and spa. Will definitely visit again if in Bali another time. Will also hold high expectation for the sister W hotels around the world. Job well done!

We didn't actually stay there. But visited there for Woo-bar. First of all, the passage to the hotel main entrance will win your heart. What beautiful designing with waterfalls and greenery. The interiors of the hotel lobby are special and would really compel you to stay in this hotel only. Coming to Woo-bar, it has got great varieties and staff was courteous enough to arrange sittings as per our requirement. They accepted special request for kid despite the thing not being available in menu. They also offered us complimentary food items to eat. Highly recommended.

The W was the start of an amazing honeymoon! The hotel upgraded our room to a suite and it was incredible. They also did a wonderful job acknowledging my gold status. The view was stunning, the room large, the shower incredible. See the pic for our view. The staff were extremely friendly, sincere, and helpful. The concierge was happy to arrange a spa appointment off site without hassling us to use the W one. The food we had around the property was just what we needed as we adjusted to region. Overall, this is a property we will certainly return too.

This place is great for a day of tanning, lunch, happy hour, or dinner. Basically there’s no need to be a guest of the hotel. If you want to come and have a day bed in the sun you’ll have to go to the restaurant area. There’s a minimum spend but it isn’t that high. Less than $50 for sure. Towels are provided. Happy hour pizza is also provided. And there are offers on drinks during happy hour. Lovely sunset and beach access. Very well guarded and secure facility. Bathrooms underground next to the bar. There are shuttles that take you from the main road into the resort. They come every few minutes. Just stand at the entrance where the bamboo tunnel starts.

Great hotel. Good sea, suitable for surfing and for regular bathing, remarkably staff. Very tasty food.

Absolutely prefect. They look into every aspect of a guests' stay and the staff is so accommodating and friendly. It is perfect for a short getaway with the family and it is extremely child friendly as well. We stayed at the 1 bedroom villa and it gave us so much joy seeing our young one splashing about in the pool. The buggy system was wonderful in getting us around the hotel. Would come back in a heartbeat! Sunsets were amazing by the beach and we loved the beach as well. Thank u for an amazing birthday getaway!

Great place, went there to the club, just sit, drink cocktails, loved it. Inside is cozy and Tsevilno, in the Ajsbare (it is after the entrance to the left) happy hours until 7pm, together with drinks we were brought compliments in the form of canapes of fish, sushi and squid, compliments were takto, but it is a pleasant and unexpected bonus. The Place is on the beach, on the territory of a cool pool and a few bars, there are tables with chairs, there are with armchairs, there are just pufiki, seating for every taste: I Loved the cocktails with passion, others are also good) advise everyone to come Watch the sunset sipping 2 cocktails for the price of one (price for cocktail 165 k). We loved the Drinks, the next time we are in Bali, will definitely return.
Landmark from the road-a beautiful corridor of greenery, after it you will find a control point, then another meters of 150 on the beautiful territory of the hotel, pass the reception through and find yourself in the Bicklaba) As I said above, "Ajsbar" with happy hours left, almost near the shore, on the spot you will tell the staff if that) all very cute and helpful, the place is super!

The most eye popping W hotel I have ever been to. I mean just wow it's been beyond spectacular! I can't seem to put it into words the sheer magnitude of this place. It's incredible and it's beautiful. Not to mention the staff is great the Sunsets are on another level too. Well done W! Well done!

Hands down best thing to do in Seminyak or even Bali. If you’re after a day of lux, this place should be the first port of call. I was here celebrating a new promotion and new job and we had a day of cocktails, swimming and sunshine. The cocktails were awesome, we tried almost everything. The food was of an extremely high standard and we left wanting for nothing. The staff are attentive, helpful and even charged our phones while we were there. If you’re after cheap and cheerful it’s not the best place but if you want to splurge and really treat yourself, this place is essential.

Great hotel with great service. The beach is clean and nice. Pool area is good and have a good selection of food and drinks. Rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast is the best. Sunsets viewed from a cabana with drink and good company is something that you Dont get tired of.

This place would have scored a 5/5 if we didnt experience bad mishap during checking in and checking out. Booked everything thru SPG website and upon arriving they couldnt find our booking giving us a heart attack saying we booked for nov 2018 instead of march 2018. Since the rooms we booked were all prepaid you could imagine the horror on our faces. We had to rechecked everything and luckily printed out copies of our confirmed bookings then only they allowed us to check in. We had the same problem checking out. Front desk promised us late check out at 4pm and on the day of checking out at 12pm they called our mobile many times to get us to check out as according to them the hotel was running full. My husband and I was at tanah lot and had to rush back to clarify that front desk promised us late check out at 4! After much hesitation finally they allowed us to check out at 4 but has completely spoilt half of our day.
Honestly this hotel was conveniently located in the heart of seminyak. The premises was stunning from the entrance, lobby, pool, bar and restaurant as everything was designed to be a WOW factor. Our room on the 5th floor had incredible ocean and pool view. The room was tastefully decorated with sun roof toilet and loads of amenities. The bed and sofa was really comfy and you even get to choose the type of pillows you want.
Both the fire kitchen and the ice kitchen for breakfast were wonderful but we prefered the ICE kitchen as it had ocean view.

The W experience — had the honor of experiencing it for 1 night while in Bali. From the moment you alight from your airport transfer, the moment you step out of the door, your unique W experience begins, the doormen/bellboy or staff, all of which are called 'talents' by w hotel, would come by and greet you, introduce themselves and get to know your name (which they put on effort to remember because every other time they see me, even a day after, they remember and address me by name). Check in was super smooth with timely explanation of the hotel, not too long not too short. Went straight to check into the ocean view suite, which was just stunning with the sunset views at the balcony. Room was super modern and futuristic with high tech stuff and I love the cordless phones. The Bluetooth speaker was super neat, and the huge huge list of DVD selections was just epic! Really good stuff. One thing I really liked about the experience was how many staff they have, which means wherever you are around the hotel, if there was anything you need, you probably wouldn't even have to search for a staff as they will come and ask if you need anything. All staff are proactive and very initiative, so that was really refreshing for me. The swimming pool was designed in a rice terrace layering style so that was pretty cool but navigating around it was a bit of a bummer.

I stayed here with my sister as a little treat after a lot of travelling through India. We were tired and wanted some sweet luxury haha. In a nutshell the entire experience was fantastic. The entrance to the hotel, the layout, the pools, the facilities etc was all seamless. The staff were super nice and it never felt forced. I booked ocean view rooms. The rooms were seriously clean, luxurious, modern and just all round great. W has two restaurants within it and we tried the food at both. Delicious. In terms of location, W is right on Seminyak beach. The street entrance is very close to all the cafes and shopping one can handle so you can just walk anywhere. All in all we couldn't fault it. Absolutely no reason to. If you're considering staying there, don't, just stay there. F.

This place has to be at the top of the best resorts me and my wife have been too. The breakfast is by far the best we have ever had in a hotel. We have been fortunate to stay at many 5 star hotels round the world. The staff and management are there to help ypur every need. The 1 bedroom villa we stayed in was Amazing. The food is amazing The pool star and staff around the pool area were fantastic, they even have someone going round offering to clean your sun glasses for free. Just a amazing hotel and staff. 5++++

Hotel for parties. Hi-tech style, shower in the room without a door. There are villas 1, 2 bedrooms. The spa is open 24 hours and there is a bar with alcohol! Often come DJs and disco can come not only guests of the hotel. The food is good.

It's simply the paradise on earth. The rooms are huge, modern and offer lovely views. The food is awesome and the breakfast offers a wide spread. The swimming pool is huge and one the best in the world. The spa is 5 star and service is excellent… Staffs are very courteous and friendly taking care of every single detail. Loving it and will definitely visit on my next trip to bali.

I've been to Bali 3 times and every time I make it a necessary stop to visit W (in particular the bar area). The layout is amazing during the day (kid friendly) and then beautiful by night (ditch the kids). At night the overhead lanterns ignite to display something very pretty. They generally have international DJs play from time to time so check with their website for up and coming events. Recommend highly!

I love this place and came here often for drinks and brunch. The brunch is only on Sundays and it cost $60 and I must say its well worth it. You can also use their pool for free after brunch. Or I recommend going there from Monday to Thursday after 4pm for their happy hour. Two-for-one drinks and free pizza and yes you can also use the pool. If you have anymore questions don’t hesitate to ask.

Came to this hotel with family and everything is awesome as expected! Great atmosphere and very lively! Beach is super clean! Recommended definitely! The only ridiculous thing is that you need to go through the toilet 'door' to get to the main room door. Stupid design. And they definitely need to put more efforts in their maintenance as there are quite some mold on the bathroom floor and stains on the sofas.

Originally ran the reputation of the net Red Hotel, but I will not recommend here, Furniture Room maintenance is not good, appear shabby, things are too expensive, surrounding restaurants are also very expensive, really do not match more than 3, 000 one night, bed is too short, 1.8 meters of people sleep feet leak out, the room lights are too few, too dark, breakfast type is less, no porridge. In short, the damage to the W Hotel reputation to the two stars is the service staff is very warm, but more than 1000 one night resort hotel Laguna Westin People are also very warm ah, and people's beach is still very clean, at least no rubbish ah.

Super awesome. Very pretty! I was walking along the beach when I decided to take a little detour and venture into the property. Their open bar and restaurant is totally worth you money even if just for an hour. The main entry to the hotel is breathtaking… like a live tunnel. Green and fresh.

Sunday brunch here is a glorious buffet from 12 til about 4pm. You must put a deposit down to secure your spot. You are welcome to use their pool and sunbeds too as part of the price. But it's roughly $65 pp. Half price for kids. Very nice but pricey given the quality you can get elsewhere in bali for much less.

Pricey but very nice. Design is very cool. Rooms are bigger than most W Hotels. Staff is excellent. Food is excellent too. The automobile entry to this hotel though needs to be changed as it is a horrible tire grinding uneven gravel and shale rock vibrating shaking and long ride guaranteed to shake your coffee out of its cup and put your liver up into your throat. Not nice at all. Otherwise, it's great!

Great service, everyone is very hospital. One employee expressed very genuine concern when my friend said he felt sick and suggested some ginger tea and made it for us. The rooms look very nice and modern but the walls and furniture seem to be on the cheaper side. Unfortunately the door is on the thinner side so we can hear guests walk by. The bathroom is also somewhat open air but with a glass ceiling and we can hear others showering and birds squaking. Location is not bad but just know that traffic is really bad here in Bali at almost every hour, so expect long rides even for short distances here.

I really like the arrival at night. The lighting is just beautiful. Location is great and the swimming pool the shape of rice fields is just stunning. However frankly they make the worst cocktails for a 5 star. At some point it feels more like a nightclub than a hotel. For any other girl I would give 4 but this is a five star and for what you pay you deserve more.

Booked the Spectacular Ocean Facing Retreat with spacious balcony with a good view of the Indian Ocean and the stunning pool. This 5 star resort is located in Seminyak amongst hip restaurants and bars. Kuta is only 20 minutes by taxi while Ngurah Rai International Airport is a 30 minutes away.

Great resort with modern, hip and beautiful rooms & villas. The retreats are very private and have their own pool. Breakfast was very good, dinner too but overpriced. Arriving at the hotel (driving through the tree tunnel) is a special experience. We did not like the surroundings of Seminyak town.

OMG this place is absolutely stunning. Very expensive but worth every rupiah. The buffet lunch is about $200AU but amazing selection of everything. Very popular so need to book at least a few days beforehand.

I love W! Amazing location, good rooms, awesome pool and the Woo Bar serves good food and has amazing drinks. You can come as a guest or hotel guest. Note there is a minimum spend if you are visiting from outside and want to use their facilities. The moment you drive in through the bamboo arches, you know there's something special. Hotel is well designed and caters to both families and couples. The hotel is right on the beach and a Woo Bar is the place to watch the sunset with cold drinks, good service and hopefully great company.

Overlooking the Indian Ocean, great location and it's easy to take a cab to all the hot spots in Kuta. Walking distance to some great restaurants and shopping. A bit overpriced but great sea and sunset views from the room.

We had a great time here. Our suite is quite spacious and the patio came with a beautiful view. Definitetly recommend hanging around the Woobar post supper to enjoy some great music and the fire dancers' performance by the beach at sunset.

My wife took her parents here recently and hasn't stopped talking about how good the place is. The hotel is good, food is OK (variety lacking, not sufficient halal options), but the staff there really make this place amazing. Every single staff member seems to be happy to help guests and staff are always smiling. My wife had one unfortunate experience in her room which was dealt with immediately and taken serious by the staff, followed by profuse apologies and a "we're sorry" card and gift. Now that's service! My father in law travels ALOT and he rates this hotel as one of the best he has been to… ever.

Amazing place. Spent my honeymoon there; it is the real definition of pamper. Staff are beyond welcoming and the whole atmosphere makes me want to go there once more.

We tried out woobar for a nice evening outing. The layout is nice, music wasn't really our taste. We had some drinks but humidity was so high we decided to leave couple of minutes later. I can only recommend to go of you are a larger group looking for a hangout place.

I don't even know where to begin to describe my exceptional experience at W Bali. They completely redefined the meaning of the word "vacation". Starting from the moment you drive through the bamboo covered alley to get to the beautiful open-space lobby with the most relaxing sofa chairs to the moment you drive away from the hotel completely relaxed to the Balinese reality, you feel like you visited your best friends or relatives who were waiting forever to see you and make your time with them count. Absolutely aWesome. The W factor is ubiquitous. Stylish interior, glamorous atmosphere, delicious food, friendliest staff, scrumptious cocktails, gorgeous sunsets, and amazing music that follows you wherever you go. There are just so many things in W Bali that make the world of difference, I can't list them in one review. Highly recommend to stay in this Wondrous hotel.

I had 2 nights ocean view room 4 th floor, it was nice and stuff are very good.

Only came for a feed and drink (whilst getting kicked out of the pool) but W is definitely at the high end of the luxury spectrum and the prices reflected it.

Spacious seating, and cool open air environment make it very relaxing while enjoying the ocean view. Prices are reasonable considering the top tier status of the hotel, and staff is very helpful and friendly. Virgin drink recipes are tasty but I regret not trying the spicy cocktail on special. Next time. Sunday nights they have DJs playing for their weekly party event.

This is a truly spectacular hotel. Designers have really indulged themselves here! Best visited at night! Get dropped off at the entrance, to take the hotel buggy down the drive. Well worth it.

We dropped by here just to have lunch by the lounge chairs overlooking the pools/beach. Cocktails are great. The food was really tasty too. Staff were excellent — they ask your name, so they can use it when serving food/drinks to you. Views of the beach and pool while eating/drinking are great. The interior design in the lobby/reception is wonderful.
