Been here four times and really enjoyed it every time, great location, good facilities, easy walking distance to bars and restaurants and good in house restaurants and bars if you want to stay in.

Great staff, fantastic internet even works on the beach in front of the hotel, great location and very nice pools (nice and deep) Restaurant look beautiful but have not eaten there so not sure about the food. I should be saying we will be coming back but we wont be. The rooms are overpriced $50 max music all night as well … we booked the one with no view at the back hotel style and could not up grade …,, the man on the front deck when we arrive was not very friendly. The place was not crowded so don’t know why? Can’t comment on the bungalows as we have not been in one. The hotels either side much better value but more expensive I guess you get what you pay for.

The hotel is conveniently located yet once in the grounds it was pretty quiet and peaceful. All of the staff were wonderful and friendly.

The hotel is right across a pedestrian only road from the beach. The beach is clean and serene; the water is clear and pristine blue/green. Plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas to rent plus beverage service! The hotel has a lush landscaping and beautiful zen setting. Cozy cottages and villas. Lovely rooms, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms with shower and tub. Great customer and concierge service, multiple restaurants and bars. When I return to Bali, I will, without a doubt, stay here again.

We stayed in the deluxe pool villa for our honeymoon and have been treated so amazingly. You get so much more for your money for the Villas including free daily drinks. Can't recommend this place and staff more, will definitely be back.

We just spent a week and can totally recommend staying here, not one word of complaint or criticism. Perfectly placed right on the beach but "town" is right outside the gate with shops and restaurants. Pools are fantastic, deep and clean with separate adults only pool if that's your preference. Staff are super friendly, rooms spacious, clean, and comfortable. Great breakfasts, good food, perfect for families, couples or groups young or old with gorgeous spacious grounds. It was like an Oasis from the fantastic chaos that is Bali.

We just spent 10 days in the Deluxe 2 bedroom Pool Villa and had the most amazing time. The villas and pool were so luxurious and spacious and the pool was fantastic especially for a late night swim. The staff are so happy, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was awesome, so much to choose from. The restaurant had beautiful food and happy hour was from 4pm — 8pm in 3 different bars with cocktails at around $4.50 each. Other family members stayed in interconnecting hotel rooms and they were clean, spacious and well equipped. The gardens are beautiful and kept immaculate. We absolutely loved our stay at Legian Beach Hotel and are already planning our next trip!

We have just come back from 8 nights at this hotel. Absolutely fantastic time. Location perfect for restaurants, shopping and massages! Deluxe family room was so good, very clean and plenty of space for four of us. Pool areas great especially adult only and heaps of lounges available. Buffet breakfast was amazing … family of four with two teenagers yes we will be back!

It was like paradise Love it's so beautiful, it is a place to go and to enjoy — and belive me you will be wishing to go back.

My partner and I just spent 10 beautiful nights at this amazing resort. The variety of breakfast choices was mouth watering… the food by the pool and dinner was delicious and the cocktails … more please. We stayed in a garden bungalow which was perfect but next year we are going to try out the pool villas. The location was breath taking. Watching the sunset whilst having cocktails and easy walk across to the beach was every thing we needed. Would like to thank all the staff and management for their hospitality and friendly service. The only fault I would make is the pool spa was not working for the majority of our stay.

It is a magical place and perfect to relax, but also ideal location to visit everything around. In fact the transportation does not lack. And everything is yet so quiet in this hotel like a peaceful village fragrant jasmine flowers.

We’ve been to Bali many times and this time we decided to stay at a nicer place and spend the extra money as a treat. At $230 per night for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) I was disappointed. It was no different to the resorts further down the beach in Legian that we’ve stayed at that were a fraction of the price! Our room did the job but it was outdated and nothing special. I’m not sure how they justify the price. We’ll return to our usual resort next time and save a lot of money.
We also chose to not do a late checkout for our night flight and moved to a hotel close by the airport for the day, it’s only $30 a night and I have to say the standard is surprisingly much higher!

The old hotel at Legian beach and now they planned to renovate. Location is still the best with nice sandy beach. Staffs were really friendly and food in the restaurant here also delicious.

The spa was incredible, absolutely amazing. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet and staff were quick to assist with any problems (first night air conditioning went down and we had one issue with a sink). Drinks at the restaurants were rather expensive though, basic bintang was more than twice the usual price, and the tax was not included in price on menu. Overall a good stay and lovely staff, just amazing people.

We just returned from a 12 night stay at Legian Beach hotel in a Premier Pool Villa. The room was absolutely amazing, spacious, clean, modern and PERFECT! The hotel itself is a perfect paradise for couples and families. We had our two children aged 6 & 9, and the Villa, private garden and Pool were spectacular, and the children enjoyed it as much as we did! Beds were comfortable, the bathrooms was the best I have seen and the staff were the friendliest and most accommodating of all the places we have stayed in Asia. Right on the beach, shopping within minutes of the hotel, and the best buffet breakfast you could dream of. All the restaurants for lunch and dinner have a wide variety of choices, and every meal was delicious, even room service meals were perfect. The kids were able to feed the squirrels and fish all on site, and the hotel is so spacious that even when it was full, it did not seem over crowded, we were treated like royalty! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. All staff from front office, bell boys, housekeeping, security and restaurants all went beyond expectations in every way. If you want to feel the paradise of Bali, the Legian Beach hotel is the place to stay! We would not stay anywhere else in Bali — ever. The spa was spectacular and could not fault a single thing! Thanks Legian Beach hotel, for an absolutely amazing family holiday! We can't wait to come back.

Perfect location for the social traveller. Close to the beach and plenty of bars only a short walk away. The surf instructor at the hotel was great and there is a separate pool for the adults with a swim up bar. Tasty breakfast buffet and pancake bar. Would also recommend the tepanyaki dinner it's a great interactive dining experience.

A great hotel for families. The best breakfast in Bali. Beautiful leafy tranquil gardens. Great pools include a second adults only pool with swim up bar. Highly recommend the garden rooms. My third stay now and I am more impressed with each stay as my kids get older and enjoy the trip more.

We had a small Bungalow and were completely satisfied. It was all clean and we had a lot of Space.
The Staff is extremely friendly and courteous.
The Breakfast Buffet is very rich and it all tastes delicious.

The private villas are very cool, good size pool and quiet. Once in your villa it’s quiet and even better for us we could play our musics quiet loud with offending anyone. The foods great and well priced. Been in Legian it’s working distance to most things and taxi is to get. Traffic is an issue but if you plan your day trips and leave early it’s not a problem Great family hotel.

Location good, but room facilities basic. Smelly drains in bathroom. Check in very late & we were held 1 more hour to 4pm before we got a room. Very expensive poolside service. Only basic coffee at beakfast & we were told 'go and get your own milk' by the staff! Up 2 flights of stairs to get to waffles. Very limited english TV channels — only HBO for movies. One to avoid — there is so much better in Bali these days.

It's ok. Rooms are of a good enough standard. It's near the beach. If you want a city hotel it's fine.

Stopped for a cocktail on the way home. Bailey's comet was delicious. It would be very expensive if you don't go during happy hours.

Nice hotel area, great pool, directly next to the beach. The food is good. The rooms are clean, the style is a little bit old-fashioned for my taste but still good. The air conditioner is a little bit loud at night.

Not a bad hotel. Silence. Not very far from the beach, lots of cafes next door. In a word the city hotel to sleep. Don't expect white towels and spotlessly clean linen. There are stains or small holes everywhere. I think the floors do not wash, although there are a lot of cleaners.

Amazing bungalow, breakfast and service! Very clean property, green and well maintained! Food was delicious in all bars and restaurants in the hotel. Definitely will come back!

We dined here for our last night in Bali on our honeymoon. It was outstanding and one of the best meal experiences we have ever had worldwide. We went with the Evolve 6 course menu would which was unbelievable! Service was top notch. We can’t recommend this restaurant enough, and just gutted we tried it on our last night as would have definitely dined here again. Pricey… but worth every penny!

We are in the Deluxe Pool villa for the second time at Legian Beach Hotel. It feels like paradise. The villa is surrounded by a small garden, with a private plunge pool. There is full-day access to a lounge where you can order coffee and snacks. However, alcohol is only served between 17:00 am and 6 pm. You can get a bottle of Balinese wine in your room when you check in.

Beautiful facilities. Staff are more than friendly enough. Great location right in Legian about 20 min walk to Kuta with kids. But surprisingly little street noise Definitely stay in a bungalow or better though. Family rooms are fine for standard family but we had some extended family and the rooms are far too intimate for all that extra time together. The deluxe has the loft and the superior is 2 bedrooms joined with one having a bathroom. Currently a fair bit of work going on here so lots of construction noise during the day, didn't bother us but may bother others.

The rooms and facilities are clean. The staff is cheerful and accommodating. The breakfast is generous. This is probably the best hotel in Legian.

We've stayed at this hotel 3 times now and cannot find a fault. Staff are excellent, accomodation is excellent (we stay in a pool villa), food served at breakfast and in the restaurants is excellent. Going to Bali again this year and definitely staying at this hotel.

A great spot in the Legian Beach. We visited during the monsoon time, which means that the beaches were absolutely COVERED in trash. We had read about this beforehand, but could not have imagined how absolutely filthy the beaches were. That meant we spent most of our time at the pool — it was glorious. Very friendly staff and several great restaurants to eat at. The pizza was great at the Italian restaurant, and we had a super fun time at the Teppanyaki restaurant (despite my feeling that it wasn't 100% authentic). Our room was very clean and the staff were kind enough to have a little cake waiting for us when we checked in — it was our honeymoon. Such a sweet gesture. The concierge, front desk staff, cleaning staff, and security were all SO nice. A great experience at this hotel overall.

Was a good location, friendly staff rooms serviced daily. Pool with swim up bar was nice and they let us stay in the pool late if we were reasonably quiet and didn't disturb anyone which was great on hot nights. Very accommodating to us to more rooms too.

The staff come to you every two minutes and ask for a signature. It is a joke. The resort itself is old and rooms are tired. Need a facelift. Very unprofessional service.

Just got back from my two week holiday at Legian Beach Hotel together with a friend. (26 + 29 Years)
We were absolutely satisfied! Great Hotel. To our happiness we were even rebooked from a superior room to one of the bungalows for Free. Very clean, room service with new towels etc. Laundry services can also be used if required. Leave in the morning and in the evening you can get the laundry back.
The staff was incredibly friendly and very discreet. The restaurants in the hotel had great varied menus and our food was always delicious and freshly prepared. Daily dinner with a view of the beach — fantastic!

There is an extra adult pool which is quite pleasant if you want to have some "rest". Although the other pool was not excessively noisy. Towels for the pool can be rented daily.
The gym is super Small. Two treadmills, one crosstrainer, Petzibälle and Dumbbells. (but only up to 20kg)
We did not use the spa area, looked great, but unlike massages and co which can be booked in nearby small massage studios (we were always at "yes Spa") but very expensive.
For excursions we have booked a driver directly via the Hotel. Who picked us up after agreement and went to where we wanted. Has always worked great, very reliable! For 6h we paid 710, 000 Rupia.

Beautiful hotel. Great breakfast and lovely staffs but they charge you extra to let you see the show over dinner. A bit pricey too.

The hotel has 3, not 2, pools. The bungalows are very good. A refrigerator and a safe are included in the basic Equipment. The bathroom is equipped with both a bathtub and a shower, as well as a washbasin there are 3 restaurants for your physical well-being to choose FROM. The conditions are all more than very friendly. I'm 10th here Now.

I would have rated this place a five star. Such an amazing location. An icon of Legian. But the security staff is not so polite when asking people on Motorbike.

The room was good and kept clean each day. The staff were friendly. Reception were incompetent leading to a two hour delay getting into the room after a long flight. Their incompetence was repeated a few days later when I twice inquired about an expected package delivery only to be informed nothing had arrived. I immediately returned to the tailor and he assured me it had been delivered four hours earlier. He and I returned to the hotel to find the package, in reception, right where he had indeed delivered it fours earlier.

Legian is not very pleased, in the sanure or noosa dua more pleasant! And the beaches are much better. And the hotel is ordinary.

First stay in Bali could not have been better. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, all staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone greets you and speaks to you. If you are going to book, book a garden bungalow! They're much nicer and closer to pools, restaurants and beach! The rooms are so lovely and the bathrooms are clean and include a bath and waterfall shower. The pools are clean and lots of seating in shade and not in shade. The restaurants are amazing, food is great! It's been such a pleasure staying and I will definitely be back again! Thanks Legian BH :)

I wanted to dine here to try the Teppaniaky.
Very good and fun cook, I didn't really like the chicken while, mushrooms, shrimp vegetables and everything else were very yummy.

We stopped by here late night for some drinks. Service was good, and they followed up with the Wi-Fi by writing the password on a piece of paper for us.

The sea sight in the morning is very beautiful. But the most impressive is the sun setting, even on a raining day. The beach is almost clean and the wave is huge and very suitable for surfing.

Very nice site, lots of greenery. The staff is very kind and always at your service. The buffet style breakfast is plentiful and good. There are a few specialty restaurants and the price of the meal in OK for Bali. The square is 20 meters e hotel.

One of the best hotel and services, just one problem while getting my taxi to the airport and they were a little disorganised to call it causing me a little of delay.

Very well maintained for an aged hotel which has passed its glorious days. Friendly, warm and helpful staff. Feels like home. Comfortable stay, although not comparable to big 5 star chain hotels. Recommended esp for those who dont have a huge budget to spare.

Not really my thing. Facility is beautiful and the rooms maintained unfortunately it's too loud much when you have a room in poolnähe. On the other hand, it has 400 beds very large which means that breakfast looks like a hens.
The location is top. Directly at the beach and walk a few minutes to the tourimeile.

Beach restaurant overpriced and we had the worst Gado gado in Indonesia. For best location, nice atmosphere and everything clean.

I Just returned (Aug 20, 2014) from 12 days at the Legian in Bali. The Deluxe Garden View Bungalow was awesome. Friendliest staff! Spotless room, top notch daily buffet and I'm not a fan of "buffets". The BEST location and swimming pools. Super relaxing. I can't get over how nice and friendly the staff is there. BBQ night is great and a great deal too. You can walk from either pool to the beach in less than 50 ft. I picked it based on reviews so HAD to review it after being 1000% satisfied. Find a deal on it and just go. No disappointments at the Legian. If someone doesn't love this place they are mental.

Hotel really super or The bungalows, the situation enenfalls excellent. Prices for drinks or dinner in the hotel but very expensive if not all-in-clusive, example at the pool: 2 local bintang 0, 5L beer 188 K rupiah (converted 11 50 euro) continue then dear 50 m towards the beach, a Liège for all-day rental (50-100 K rupiah) and only 1/3 for drinks and food pay. The prices however are probably normal for this hotel price range.
Cleaning person all sometimes not quite so thoroughly in a row forgot to feel after toilet paper on the rooms with us day E. G. 2.

The hotel is located in the bustling Kuta Legain Seminyak district. Here dominated by cars and motorcycles. Shops, where you can see. But through the hotel gate go and silence descends on you. The hotel is located in a large tropical garden with chalets and a main building, where the rooms are. Once you in the birds and the sea surfing you are listening. It is an oasis, a piece of paradise. The hotel staff will make you feel at home. All smiles! The Balinese are such pleasant people! No one is without past make eye contact, and then smile. It warms the heart, believe me. We had a disastrous holiday, how about everything that could go wrong! Murphy's law rules. The hotel staff were helpful. Any kind of help offered and shown genuine interest as we did. They recovered what it otherwise remained short, one to salvage ruined holiday. So, if you are planning your Bali holiday? Do yourself a favor; To stay at Legian Beach hotel.

Is I here express Lilke to my appreciation for this wonderful resort a Repeater in Legian beach. Situated on the promenade of Legian Beach, a well designed garden, 2 swimming pools, helpful and friendly staff, the this to a carefree and beautiful holiday wears. The rooms and villas are all renovated, clean and spacious. The staff knows me by name, and I felt really to become not only a tourist guest. The German chef and his team create great food from the authentic Indonesian untill, delicious pizza, seafood and much more. My next trip is already booked for 2012.

Our overall impression of the Legian Beach Hotel is that it is a very good place to spend a short or long holiday there. It is also one of the few remaining hotels to have single story traditional bungalows. Overall this hotel certainly lives up to it's 4 star rating with very good staff and management. Nothing is problem and their aim is to help you to enjoy your holiday.

The staff here are amazing they go completely out of their way to make sure your stay is something to remember. And it was. Firstly the location, The Hotel is beach front directly opposite Regina beach. A quiet escape from all the noisy and busy traffic that Kuta/Legian is known for. If you didn't want to be at the beach though the hotel has two pool areas which were both relaxed and friendly one with a swim up bar. It was a plus not having to have to ever rush to the pool area early to secure a sun lounge as there was always plenty available. The food was excellent and there was always so much variety at breakfast that we were usually full for the entire day! The hotel offers various free activities to people staying at the hotel like surf lessons and animal feedings. We stayed in a garden bungalow which was very spacious and equipt with excellent amenities. It is an excellent resort for families, couples I would even feel comfortable staying their on my own.

Our second home in Bali with cottages situated in a beautiful garden. All the time we stay in Legian Beach Hotel we have an fantastic time and always an excellent service with a lovely smile. Thank you management and staff for this enjoyable stay.

Stayed there for 8 days in September 2011. This is a magnificent resort and I cold not fault it in any way whatsoever. It is perfectly located next to the beach, close to the League shops and an easy 10 minute walk from Kuta. The staff were so helpful, from front desk, waiters, massage attendants to security. There are two large pools that are always clean and the food is brilliant and quite cheap. I would not stay anywhere in Bali except the Legian Beach Hotel and have recommended it to all of my friends.

My wife and I have just returned from our holiday at the Legian Beach Hotel for two weeks in August 2011. This large friendly hotel is fantastic for both families and couples; the location is one of the best in the League/Kuta area. It has two magnificant pools, both with spa's and one with a swim up bar. The swim up bar never gets rowdy which is great, unlike some hotels in Bali. The hotel is right opposite Regina Beach and you can walk straight out the back of the hotel to watch the sunset. We have stayed in the hotel rooms and the Deluxe Garden Bungalows. We prefer to stay in the Deluxe Garden Bungalows as they are set amongst the beautiful manicured gardens and are extremely quiet. This is a great hotel. Terry and Sherine Perth, Australia.

Hi All We stayed at the legian beach hotel for 10 days and loved it. Staff were always friendly, good security the breakfast was awesome watching the waves roll in. The food and drinks were reasonbly priced, close to everything. This was my first trip to bali and my partners 7th and we have no complaints at all. Legian Beach Hotel was a fantastic place to stay. The room was clean and tidy all the meals in the restaurants were outstanding and the staff were always helpful and friendly.

Very good hotel. Good and clean room, excellent food and friendly people working there. If we go back to Bali in a few years, we sure go back to Regina Beach Hotel. Hotel is also wheelchair friendly.

My family and I go to Bali once or twice a year and always stay at the beautiful Legian Beach Hotel which we regard as our ' home away from home '. We have been staying there for many, many years and can't imagine staying anywhere else. We are always greeted warmly on arrival and have developed close friendships with many of the staff and management team who go out of their way to ensure that we are happy. Apart from the excellent accommodation, service and facilities, it is the personal touches especially for loyal repeaters, the friendly interaction with guests and the relaxed atmosphere that makes the Legian Beach Hotel so very special and sets it above the others. This is why we return there year after year with our (now grown up) children and why we regard it as our ' home away from home '. If you are looking for a place to unwind and chill, the Legian Beach Hotel is the place for you. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Despite the half year booked before garden bungalow, we were downgrated to a superior room. How could this possibly happen? The superior room was not clean: curtains were dirty (stains), the phone wasn't cleaned for a long time. Neither were the hairdryer and switch-plugs. The front desk employees should be more aware which guests are waiting first to help instead of helping guests who coincidental stand before the employee. The restaurant for dinner was super. Service and food were of high quality.
