This is a great resort in a superb location. The only two faults are the reception process is archaic and the food served at the poolside bar for lunch and dinner is never hot enough. Breakfast was excellent.

Located at a fantastic location at seminiyak. Nice big pool. Easy access to beach. Everyday dinner buffet available at very good price. Lot of facilities available.

The grounds are extensive and well kept. It's right on the beach. Rooms are tired and basic. Take a powerboard as there's only 1 power point! Our room didn't have a safe, hairdryer, or second armchair. Might be good for families with young kids. We will look elsewhere next time.

Stayed 6nights. Nice area with a lot of tourists. Stuff was always friendly and helpful. Sometimes some difficulties with the language. Great breakfast buffet und nice dinners. Didn't handle problems like I wished they would but was ok.

Great resort! So many pools including child’s pool. Right across the road from the beach. Many options for accommodation too. The staff are so nice and friendly. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment it could do with an update it’s a bit old but did the job. Awesome air conditioning and shower pressure!

Love this Jayakarta ClubBali. We stayed in 2 bed rooms apartment. The place is spacious. Really enjoyed staying here.

Rest in the apartment, a nice room, new renovation, hotel pools can be used.

Awesome place. Great for families or traveling with friends. Stayed with private apartments in the resident section — much more comfortable than the normal units.

We knew the hotel for having gone through we have long rented a house nearby.
The most, the beautiful garden well maintained, the Balinese style of the hotel with the architecture and the clothing of the employees. These are lovely and at our disposal. Great availability of towels for the pool. The room is ok we enjoyed the water bottles, the coffee and the tea.
Little less, the blue pool mattresses, to renew for certain. And pity that the beach is so dirty although cleaned every day. No TV channels in French, France 24 was in English.

Old hotel, dirty enough in the rooms and little sockets. And the ones that are crackling and a little sparkle.

Our stay at Jayakarta was great. The rooms were clean and air-conditioned, they had a cot available for our baby and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The amenities include swimming pools (with a child friendly one), play club and spa. The food was good and room service was reasonable in price.

We had a great time at the Jayakarta. It was a 2nd time at the resort. We had a great room (as we requested) in front of the pool. Can't wait to get back.

Very nice resort with direct access to the beach. Breakfast by the pools is a great way to start each day. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel location is good. Direct access to legian beach. Good ambiance with resort taste. Just need to improve in room ambiance (looks old)

Nice place and beautiful property but rooms need to be improved. Rooms don't look like 5 star property. Nice pools n best is that beach is very close by… Good is also good.

Just spent 10 days there. Were given a dingy room but soon got moved. Would recommend rooms in 400 block. Breakfast was good even though it never varied. All the staff are so helpful and friendly, they go out of their way to help. Only negative about this hotel is there isn't a safe in the room it's annoying to have to use a safety deposit box at reception. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

I liked the atmosphere of the hotel, the feeling that you are in an old palace, and a very comfortable location.

Grand Tourist Hotel, international and Indonesian ambience, beach front, between the sea and the main artery of Kuta, close to everything. The kids liked the surfing right across the hall, the tennis and the gym in the hotel, the pools, the restaurants and shops all around. Kuta remains crowded and nature makes room for man. For a few days why not.

What an awesome resort! Beautiful greenery with a great swimming pools. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast and buffets are lovely. Also, a super nice beach right there with amazing sunsets. Would love to visit the Jayakarta again! Travelled from Cape Town, South Africa.

Peaceful relaxing few days a way. Lovley resort best breakfast in Bali. Already booking our next trip this time bring the children.

I had previously stayed at Jayakarta in 2015 and came back due to this trip being just my friend & I. She had never been to Bali before so the Jayakarta really felt like a true Bali experience. All the staff were so friendly & helpful, nothing was a bother for them. The gardens and pool areas are super and the food was great too. We were delighted to receive three complimentary dinners and ate at the hotel restaurant most evenings.

Very very nice and clean place. Food are awesome. Cooperative staff.

Great Facilities, rooms were average with an old TV (though the people next door had a flash Samsung) awesome buffet. There are so many chemicals in the 3 pools it's ridiculous. Would recommend it to families, but make sure you shop around as you can get some outstanding bargains.

On the beach, hotel environment good, room bed a little small, feel the Bali beds are a little small. Breakfast is served from half past six starts.

The hotel has a great location, just cross a little street and you are immediately on the beach.
The rooms are not new, I have changed 3 times because I was not satisfied, but the strong point of the hotel and the wonderful garden with the central pools all in Balinese style.
The staff and courteous and the breakfast buffet would say satisfactory.
I recommend it to couples with kids.

Nice hotel for people on a budget, a bit outdated but still did the job very well and centrally located in Legian and close to Kuta.

1st trip to Bali & was impressed with the hotel location & set up. Big pools can be a little hard to find a spot. Food is good. Legian is a great area & this spot on the beach can't be faulted.

Were this a third time and tell you friends, we were disappointed. Small room, bed linen-gray, mattresses are horribly uncomfortable. Toilet Bowl painted with paint, dust and spiderwebs under the table, not 15 years, very little coverage. Poolside restaurant: prices are reasonable, but the quality leaves much to be desired-it is tasteless. And another fact, which we were amazed all with beach go in the toilet around the pool, so that the toilet did not enter: (
The territory is big, a lot of Greens. If comfort is not important for you, you can safely choose it.

Been going to Jayakarta from the Kuta Palace days, by far our favourite, see uou sgsin in s few days Martin and staff.

Stayed here 5 times now, always feel very relaxed. Will continue to go back to Jayakarta as it feels like home to us. We love it.

4th times here, nice place.

The place looked nice, so we had lunch there. The burger was the weirdest I ever had. But what did they use for the patty? Beef? Maybe. Refurbished, and with other stuff. Couldn't get any explanation. We will not come back.

Overall good, loads of people and kids since there are hundreds of rooms. Nice pools, excellent breakfast, but as touristy as it gets.

Direct access to legian beach.

I like the traditional bali ambience feel when I stayed here. I loved the 3 massive pools the hotel had to offer and the pool bar as well. The service wasn't that great and the breakfast was the best.

Lovely resort in Legian, and great value. Despite the resort being a little tired, it's an absolute gem — and an affordable one at that. Considering the facilities included and the 3 massive pools available to use for the ~$100AUD price per night for a standard room is very welcoming. The proximity of the resort to the beach is basically unbeatable. You just have to walk out the front gate and across the laneway and you're on the beach, ready to grab a drink from the beach bars and enjoy the sunset. The resort also has several restaurants (the breakfast is great too! ), tennis and ping pong, 3 massive pools with built in bar, massage and spa treatments and a free shuttle bus into Kuta. Room service and poolside service is also available for food and drinks (cheap too). If you want a magnificent location, a comfortable and affordable stay and a multitude of facilities on hand the Jayakarta I would definitely recommend.

Wouldn't stay again, everything needed upgrading, the rooms, the amenities, the pool.

We were greeted with a smile and a lot of efficiency. Our room very spacious and clean in the middle of a lush park. The buffet at breakfast and dinner very well garnished appetizing… Floral motifs decorated our table every night! I highly recommend this hotel, we stayed there 12 days of dream…
