We stayed at this property for one night and it was a terrible experience. We were meant to stay for 6 nights but we left. Spent the one night there trying to organise alternate accomodation and transport. No one was aware of our booking when we arrived but it was confirmed on Booking. Com. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived and was filthy. We had to go away for a few hours and come back. The restaurant was closed. The pool was closed and looked like a swamp. But they advertised a restaurant with a pool table and a pool. The pool looked lovely in the photos but was literally a swamp when we arrived. The kitchen was empty. No bowls, no knives, The cupboards were literally bare. There were no staff on site. No manager anywhere. There was a security guard who was very unhelpful. He told me the manager was 10km away. The morning we checked out, a number of house keeping staff appeared out of no where harassed us for payment and harassed us to leave…. Interesting given we had to wait hours on the day we arrived for our room to be ready. The biggest insult was that a house keeper was sent into our room, before we left, to check if we’d stolen anything. This has never happened to us before and was insulting. She kept saying she had to check if we’d taken the pillows. I asked the housekeeper to leave at least 6 times…. She wouldn’t, until I raised my voice at her, she then started crying and so did I.
