Beautiful Resort rooms are very clean staff are amazing. Pool areas are fantastic. I've stayed here twice and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. I love Grand Barong.

Bad hotel! I from malaysia. Stay 5days4night take 8 room (group) 1. Not recommended for muslim people
2. Staff inform restaurant halal food but non-halal! have pork! cook using the same pan. Very disappointing
3. The hotel does not have enough iron for the room. Waiting for the 3rd day iron just got. The staff gave it a bad iron.
4. Sheets have blood. Ask the staff to change but only flip the sheets. They didn't change the new sheets
5. The room is not clean. Sandy floor
6. Just a few staff friendly
7. Daily clean the room but not add new items like coffee, sugar & etc
8. Aircond not cold!

We loved the pool area. It has a great party atmosphere. And if t gets rowdy there is always a second pool area that is lovely and quiet. Great service. Very clean. And most importantly. No Bed Bugs!

Stayed here in January… had lagoon access room… could not find fault at all. Bed was huge… breakfast and food was great… they even made me a small 50th Birthday cake and fruit delivered to my room … we found everyone friendly … we are coming back in 2 weeks time in September 2019 for 4 days.

This is my second time here and yes the hotel and staff are great but the “local” guys that sit out the front are a huge issue. Just had them bash on the car windows because we ordered a car. And didn’t use them and their scooters for a lift because I don’t want to get on a scooter! Am the hotel security is an absolute joke and do nothing!

Great place to stay! Perfect location near everything and great swim up bar. And the staff! Ketut wardiasa was great as usual always doing a great job and helping us as much as he can to make sure our stay is perfect! So thank you ketut!

Loved it here! the main bar does turn into a bit of party central from mid afternoon though so not for you if you're not up for some noise… but all the staff amazing and friendly and rooms were also great.

Pool access room is the best. Pool Bar always lively. Resort is kept clean at all times. The central location makes it close to the beach and for shopping.

Third time staying here. Situated right in the hustle and bustle of Poppies II. Excellent cheap eateries around, with arguably the best breakfast place Crumb & Coaster across the road. Front pool quieter typically no kids and back lagoon pool with music and more atmosphere. We had a family room on ground floor but it was dark and slightly depressing, so moved to a executive suit on 3rd floor. The room was Large with excellent roof top area and private gazebo. Breakfast is avg, but adequate. Hotel requires 100 bond on check in and when exceeded they freeze your account which is niggly having to clear your bill every 2 days… Staff are warm and friendly and rooms cleared and cleaned promptly. 6.5 out of 10.

Love love love. Had the best time here and an amazing experience. Amazing staff. Oki was very friendly, genuine and a all round great person and as a bonus, left awesome towel animals every day for us to enjoy. Clean resort with great pools, food and spa. Stayed here for 5 nights and will definitely be back very soon.

Great hotel, great service. Can be noisy at night and the breakfast is skimpy.

2 day’s into a 15 day stay and so far everything is amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is great and has everything you could want. Our room is clean and comfortable, the pools and bars are awesome and the location is the best.

Can’t fault this place at all amazing pool nice food and the most lovely staff ever, my favourite this about this place was every single time I walked past a staff member they always went out their way to say hello or good morning/good afternoon. Thank you grand Barong we’ll be back!

Wicked place. Staff were on point, food was good room clean and all the bits and pieces you could need including a swim up back room door, shopping at your door step and everything in walking distance. Thanks Grand Barong crew. We will be back. Mr and Mrs Penney n Markus.

Kalo ke Bali, dan pengen deket sama pantai kuta, hotel ini recommended. Mau nginep sini lagi kalo ke Bali. Akses masuk memang susah, tapi para staff sangat membantu untuk parkir dan atur jalan. Depan hotel rame dengan club, tapi begitu masuk hotel itu nyaman banget dan tenang. Ke beachwalk tinggal jalan kaki ke kiri dari hotel, kalo monumen bom Bali tinggal ke kanan dari hotel.

Grand barong resort is a very good place to stay. Very good rooms with supportive staff and Wi-Fi facility. Only problem is that not very suitable for type of couple who just wants to relax in nature kind of place and Don't want too much crowd near by. As this resort is very near to Kuta beach, you can expect too much rush and crowded streets. Price was and facility wise very economical.

Tempat yg cocok untuk bawa keluarga. Walaupun keliatan dari depan kecil tetapi ketika masuk tempat ini bagus sekali. Ada 2 area kolam renang dan ada in pool barnya. Kebersihan sangat dijaga. Untuk makanan restonya sangat enak dan untuk harga makanannya sanagt masuk akal. Ke pantai dan beachmall dekat. Mau ke tempat bar dan diskotik di legian juga dekat. Oiya di hari hari tertentu selalu ada show. Kebetulan kmarin saya dapat fire dance show.

Well-placed hotel in the heart of Patong, 10 minutes from the famous Patong Beach, 5 minutes from the famous Patong rood where you can find the restaurants pubs, nightclubs etc…

The rooms are lovely and clean, the food is reasonably priced and the staff are lovely.

A pleasant place located in the heart of Kuta life! The airport is within ten to twelve minutes drive. City Beach in ten-twelve minutes walk. There are a lot of restaurants, mini-markets, currency exchange in the hotel and in the street. The course in the hotel is often higher and without commission. The rooms are small but cozy with balconies or terraces overlooking the pool. The breakfasts in the restaurant are delicious, plentiful and satisfy every taste. The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. Despite the presence of the hotel restaurant and bar with live music, the rooms are quiet and peaceful. The pool is great: clean, beautiful, there is a possibility of exit right from the terraces of some rooms. It is possible to recommend both for family rest, and for individual. The price/quality ratio is great!

I have nothing bad to say about this place! Amazing staff, they're all so friendly and lovely. Rooms are very nice and clean also you actually have space to walk around, beds are super comfty. Good aircon. Breakfast buffet is average but lots of food to choose from. The pools are amazing. Great location, close to all the hustle and bustle. Stayed here twice already and will definitely stay here again in the future.

The room was very clean and the beds are great. Staff was very nice and helpful. Not the best place if you come to have a quiet holiday, as the hotel is very close to the bars which attracts people who go to Bali just to party. However, the place is great if you don't mind a bit of noise.

Small but cozy area. The rooms are very small. In our deluxe room there was only one closet-at the entrance (very small), there fit 5 hangers, safe, shoes and on the only shelf were stacked all things, in short, not comfortable, but you can fit.
The bathroom is very small and strange not closing the door.
The food is good. But for some reason for breakfast do not give cheese, sausage and the like… But there is bacon) )
The location of the hotel is generally great. 5 min to the ocean and 5 min to the main street. Walk. The noise is not audible.

It's located inside shopping lines around Kuta beach. Cozy and clean rooms. Good services. Provides Wi-Fi in the room. Food we ordered was okay, but in my opinion, the pastry doesn't so good taste. Have beautiful pools with bar on it.

We stayed at the barong back in March, we had a great stay we had 5 rooms, next March we have booked 7 rooms, great location, good pools, and very nice staff. This hotel was as good as the $100 a night hotels we have stayed in bali and at the barong we only pay $60 a night, got to love that.

Great hotel at a great location. Multiple pools, rooms are nice. My favourite thing Bout this place is that I didn't have to get a second key to keep the power on, there is already one in the room. It is quite a big hotel so I feel like I'm walking in a small suburb. The only thing I wasn't too happy with was the breakfast side of things but given the location, you are covered with choice for food options.

Just spent 14 nights there absolutely loved it. The staff and service was excellent our housekeeper Made Apriadi was excellent and kept our room beautiful and full of surprises which I truely appreciated. The staff in the dining room was excellent the food unbelievably good. The pool was perfect temperature and bar was a treat. We will definitely be back there wonderful experience close to everything.

I love this place. Beautiful hotel located in famous Poppies Lane II. This hotel is surrounded by bars and restaurants making it more "alive". Has very nice pool. Breakfast is also pleasant though the restaurant is too small. Around 10 min walking distance to beach and 5 min to Beachwalk mall.

For the cheap price we paid the hotel was great! Good location, nice pool area, good breakfast and a comfortable bed. If the bathroom was a little cleaner I would have given it 5-stars.

Good breakfast. Nice staff. Nice pool area. Sometimes quite noisy because of loud music and partying. Rooms are large, beds are good, ac works very well. Rooms not clean enough in my opinion. In our room the water coming through the wall or something, looks nasty. Quite good value for money. Great location!

So far — Fantastic live the room so spacious. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Room has balcony and lovely view of Pool. Music by pool is loud but has not bothered me at all. You can always get a back room.

Currently 3rd night here and 6 more to go, staff are very friendly, rooms are clean, spacious and comfy, bathroom could do with some maintenance as silicon around shower very untidy and bit mouldy sitting underneath the silicon but apart from that it's clean. Grounds are nice, breakfast is pleasant and the coffee at breakfast is pretty good too. Great location. Our first night had few disrespectful noisey guests between midnight and 2:30 am which had me worried about the following nights but the last 2 nights not too bad so hopefully stays that way the rest of the time and that's not the hotels fault. The only downfalls for me is not much storage for clothing as I like to unpack my suitcase especially when having a long stay, the rooms are big enough to cater for this so I don't know why they haven't and same goes for the bathroom, not enough storage for toiletries. The hotel has 3 levels and we are on the second, obviously not concrete flooring between levels as you can hear people walking on floor above which can be a little annoying too. Pricing for hotel is very good for what you get. I would recommend this hotel and I would also come back.

We had two times experience people want to ripped us, market around her also bad, we was treat the 24 hours market staff with very good respect, even share the information of how we nearly get ripped off with the staff, he looks friendly and normal young guy, in the end, he charged us a pack of cigarette for himself, I asked receipt and checked when we back to the hotel, really feel shame for him. They needs feel sorry for their country!

The hotel is a great place to spend your holiday. It's quiet and off the street, has a huge pool and an especially great pool for our two year old also. The staff are fantastic — whenever we had a special request they responded by delivering every we needed! Will definitely be back.

It's easily found, the hotel staffs are kind and helpful. The room is clean, nice and affordable which makes it the best bang for your buck.

Had a great and pleasurable stay here. Very clean, nice staff and awesome pool. Location was perfect for me since I do enjoy the occasional party when in Kuta, the party heart is around the corner.

Stayed here for 11 nights in 8/2015. Clean rooms and great pool areas. B/fast was great and the hotel is in a great local. Can be noisy so get a room down the back.

I did not stay in hotel but have a dinner in Barong restaurant. I ate pork barbeque and bali coffe, my wife ate marimari and coffe too (both of us are coffe addicted). Based on my pinion, the barbeque souce is too sweet and covered the taste of pork meat (but my wife like it). She doesn't like the marimari but I do! The price is good and make sense, 4 USD for the barbeque and 3 USD for marimari. The staffs of restaurant are friendly and nice (and beautiful also). :D.

Ive stayed at the bounty as well as the barong as the barong is supposed to be the sister hotel. Im not joking when I say this is a horrible hotel. At night the transport touts under the boom gate try to sell you meth and the hotel does nothing about it nor the security they have. The bounty is so much cleaner and the food is good. Dont waste your time with the barong its not clean they really dont care once they have your payment for the accomodation and its just plain unsafe.

I have been a regular guest at Barong for 9 years, and would not stay anywhere else. I have found the management and staff to be extremely caring and helpful at all times. The Hotel definately needs a face lift, but I understand this is being done when time allows it. I love the location of the Barong, and the accomodation is value for money. I willl be continuing to visit as often as I can.
