Good location. Comfy rooms. Good food. Various activities conducted for kids n adults especially DJ nites with Dj Firoz who conducts fun filled games apart frm gr8 music entertainment. The cleaning staff also was v coopperative. This place has a v relaxing feel to it. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The reception is very responsive n all requirements are v promptly taken care of.

Highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the way the management avoided THE EMERGENCY SITUATION… their is "No Provision For Emergency Health Issues! They Are Not Even Concerned To Know What Is The Issue Besides Calling Them!
And they never revert for there BAD REVIEWS RECEIVED…

One of the Good resorts in Mahabaleshwar to enjoy with the family. Rooms are neat and clean, staff is courteous. Kids can enjoy in play area, indoor games and outdoor games too.

Charming property. Beautiful rooms. Superb playhouse for kids. The kids loved it and so did we! Very good vegetarian food. Thali was a bit overpriced though.

The location of hotel is amazing. It's almost 4 km before Mahabaleshwar's hustle bustle, situated next to a jungle valley. There are huts, cottages & hotel units for stay. Had stayed in hotel units this time. The food spread is sumptuous & adequate. The staff is courteous & prompt. Swimming pool is clean & inviting. Will stay next time in huts. Will recommend to my guests too. Keep it up Saj family. Hotel Tip: I've heard there's magic show in hotel during dinner time, but, I missed the dinner so couldn't watch it.

Very well maintained place, to stay with family. But usually it is completely booked, but do book in advance. Food, swimming pool and spa are other attractions. Note that the place is about 5 kms before Mahabaleshwar market and far off from other places, so you will need your own transport to move around. You can also rent a cab from the resort front desk at reasonable rates (recommended).

Good Place to visit once. They have good style of arrangements in which Couples can enjoy their privacy. And Big thing is about Nature and So fresh air.

Pretty shabby for what they charge or what they think it's worth. Cons- — No views (on the mountain for what? ) — No Wi-Fi in rooms — Old furnishings in rooms — No bar — No non veg food — Rooms don't have dental kits, bathroom slippers, or a fridge! — Housekeeping is super slow — ordered ice, they said they can't deliver as the only fridge at restaurant is not working, this is when there is no fridge in room. Later they somehow got ice. Ordered water at night, arrives at least half n hr late. — Food quality is just average. Fried stuff is over fried. Other curries don't taste as good as 3 star hotels are supposed to taste. — Pool is small! — Asked for a late check-out being with an infant and the manager with an attitude told us checkout at 12 noon will be chargeable! Really! Pros — Many worse resorts nearby and hence the attitude! — Staff is nice in general.

Went there in february this year. The place is very quite. Rooms are big and clean. Room service is good. It has an in house gym, spa, pool and play area. One can do many activities here. Some are chargeable. Food is good but a bit pricy which is okay if you don't want to go out. Go there if you just want to sit back and relax.

No stars, there was a time I really loved this resort but because of their poor professionalism I couldn't book a room due to poor response from them and horrible reception service. I have been calling since last two days but because of the increased demand they have forgotten their old customers. Kindly improve or you will lose your valuable customers.

A good resort in Mahabaleshwar about 5 km away. The hotel is good and it is there for many years. It is maintained well. The food in the restaurant here is good. Swimming pool requires maintenance. The staff are good. The service is good. Overall experience was good.

It is a very good place. Mahabaleshwar experience made better with cool features such as club house and swimming pool. Great place.

We stayed at saj from 3 rd October to 5th October 2014. It is a nice place. Kids friendly. The lunch buffet was average not as advertised. Dinner and breakfast menus are good. Al a cart menu options were limited. The service was excellent and staff was courteous. The spa here is excellent. Book you appointments well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Fantastic resort, especially for families. Food is really good, same as breakfast. Adventure activities are worth spending couple of hours.

Descent place to stay. Staff and food are excellent, they arrange a bonfire too for you (chargeable). Adventure sports and children play area are good. but found few issues — 1. Hot water (in luxury rooms) is not 24/7. Not sure if that is the arrangement in other category of rooms. 2. No hot/cold AC. May be required during chilling nights in winter that I faced. 3. Being on mountain, lots of walking up within the facility; folks with old parents may find an issue. 4. Swimming pool is not water-heated. 5. Wifi in limited areas only.

Good place to stay with family, loved the food and the ambiance. Comfortable stay, good mix of old world charm and new amenities. Drawback being no Wi-Fi connection in the room and the reception staff although helpful need to be more lively and prompt.

The hotel has a superb ambience and very comfortable rooms with good views. The food is pure veg and good in taste. The only con is the cost.

Great place to enjoy the calm, cool weather of the hill stations, Mahabaleshwar and Panchagani. Rooms are best and beautiful with a good room service. The food is just average though. Bunch of activities at the resort are really good fun with likes of archery, zip line crossings, pool, table tennis etc. All included in your room charges. Need to have a vehicle if you plan to visit popular tourist spots around Mahabaleshwar. All in all value for money.

Beautiful at night. The place is just awesome. I was there with friends. Very co-operative staff and really elegant property. The balcony in each room is so big that you feel like it's a studio apartment flat. The food they serve is pure vegetarian and authentic in taste… 100% satisfaction for the food.

One of the best resorts in Mahabaleshwar idealy located, not in a crowded area. Just about everything is nearby. Nice pool and a veg restaurant.

SAJ ON THE MOUNTAIN This is the full name of the resort. It is a three star property. A massive resort consisting different type of rooms, cottages etc. Free Wi-Fi, LCD TV in rooms, a gaming room which has snooker, table tennis, carom set up, they also have equipments for badminton, Cricket. In front of the hotel there is a big garden which has swings for children and in the other half of the garden there is set up of outdoor activities for adults like zipline Burma bridge, wall climbing etc. There is vegetarian restaurant named WILSON in the resort, which serves delicious food. There is a spa called ' VYOM' where one can go for spa and massage treatment. Outdoor swimming pool is amazing. It is an upscale, not wheel chair friendly, not recommended for people who use wheel chair. In a nutshell, a luxurious resort with all modern facilities. People will feel rejuvenated after spending a day here. *** LOCATION*** It is situated on the Panchgani Mahabaleshwar Road. An upscale place. *** FACILITIES *** 1. Free Wi-Fi 2. Visited it during this diwali. I went with my family. Total 5 of us. We booked the deluxe with sit out. Its a newly renovated hotel. Has 2 restaurants both have very good food. Facilities include swimming pool, play area for kids, game room which has pool, tt carrom, fuseball. The staff ks very courteous. We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel.

Service and the location of the property is wonderful. It's one of the great resort to visit in mahabaleshwar. Area of improvement is only food.

The resort is easy to locate and is situated at good location. The rooms are good and the food too is delicious. The staff is well mannered and kind. Overall good experience. The Darvin is the best place in the resort. It has a library and the sitting arrangements are super unique. Different type of sitting tables making it more unique. One of the best place. Would love to visit again.

Great place to head to if you're spending your weekend at Mahabaleshwar or Panchgani. Good clean rooms, a swimming pool, sufficient parking space. Gets very chilly in the nights and early mornings, food is served banquet style but they do have a wide variety and it is quite delicious. Drinks are not served in-house.

I loved this place. The property was well maintained. Though it's a veg resort, the food was great. I have never enjoyed vegetarian food, but here I just loved it. The breakfast buffet was awesome, the overall food experience like thali and Chinese was great. Next thing is ambience, that was the best. Everyone had a smile on their faces, they use to greet you. The room service and house keeping was very fast. A perfect place for a comfortable stay.

Overal a very good experience. The luxury room is very spacious and balcony is huge. Staff is very courteous. The staff goes out of the way to take care of the needs of the guests. The only problem is that the Wi-Fi isn't available in the room but it's there in the cafe.

Over hyped place. Rooms are pathetic and no great views from any of rooms. Food is good and nice swimming pool.

Good for a short stays. The only room worth considering is the one with a balcont overlooking the forest.

No non veg and drinks but still I give it a 5 star simply coz it's amazing… Just get up early morning and head out for a walk observing the beauty of the place… Great location and good wholesome breakfast with an excellent massage Centre to spoil urself… The staff are one of the kindest and sweetest! Must visit once if you visit Mahabaleshwar… Totally worth the stay.!

After a long time we have been to a place where food, ambience, rooms, service, staff, everything are par excellence.
Currently Maharashtrain food festival is going on n we tasted very first time the Maharashtrain food n it's just super yum. Not too spicy or oily, Very much balanced. Rooms n corridors, garden, swimming pool everything is very much well maintained. Breakfast has superb spread. N that too all vegetarian food.
I think this would be my all time favourite n relaxing n refreshing holidays n it will be fixed place to stay for me whenever I will visit mahabaleshwar.

A lovely resort in the hills of Mahabhaleshwar. Good place for children to play and very good food, only vegetarian though. Didn't get a chance to try their spa but need to leave something for next time too.

The hotel is located right on the main Mahabaleshwar Road about 6 kms away from Mahabaleshwar market and very close to Panchgani market. The property is pretty decent with really good staff. Breakfast — Good spread and taste. Would recommend people to stay at this property.

We visited the Resort and came back yesterday itself. The break-fast was wonderful. Stafff was good. Lunch we ordered A-la-carte and it was all wastage of money. They provided us curry which was half cooked and other dishes were also very bad! Not advisable for having lunch here: (

Hello Everybody, I went this Hotel on 1st Oct 2014 to 6th Oct 2014. this qas my 2nd visit. Earlier I went on the year 2000. I love this Hotel and planning to visit again in next two years. Food Quality Cleanlyness is Great. Staff is also Cleaver. In dinning room I talk with my family that next round we took this item and Hotel staff just here by side and brought that food item very quickly. entertainment programms are also nice. The best getaway spot in Mahableshwar.

Best place to visit with family in Mahabaleshwar, well maintained property with lip smacking food, excellent service and ample in house activities to spend a relaxed weekend.

I am very much disappointed abt service. I missed my spec at hotel room after checkout for sure. But hotel staff is not confirming that they found it. Just to avoid courier hassales.

Nice place. Stayed 2 days here on an off season. While most hotels here in mahableshwar were in pathetic condition these guys have managed to keep the property neat and clean. Food is great. I loved the place.

Excellent resort. Staff — Very prompt and polite Food — Very good quality and variety Rooms — I visited there in rainy season and opted cottage. Property was not covered with plastic paper as other hotels were. Very fresh and decent rooms even in heavy rain. View — it does have any. But in cottage you can have little private garden with forest view. Facilities — Could optimized all due to heavy rain but there are plenty of them. Cost — A little on higher side. I would love to go there again.
