Average budget hotel, can be preferred for a overnight stay during transit. Breakfast was average & can be managed. Rooms are compact and maintained clean. Has complementary basic amenities like bottled water and tea set, other than that everything else is chargeable, even dental kit.

It's a very decent hotel in a very prime location of Ahmedabad. It's quality and rooms are same across the country. You can book this hotel in any city without any second thoughts. A good budget hotel for a short stay. Don't expect leisure or lavish amenities. But still a good choice for a short comfortable trip.

The stay was really good and so were the staff. They have this breakfast buffet plan, which is actually good and economical. There are lot of places nearby to shop and eat.

It was great. Staff is polite. Market and mall is nearby to the hotel. The food is good especially the chicken biryani. Rooms are cozy and comfortable to stay in. It takes 40mins from Ahmedabad railway station to reach here. And the Cab fare will be around Rs200 from station to hotel. As the market is nearby so it helps in shopping and other needed products. One of the good Ginger hotel is this which is on drive in Road.

Best budget hotel on drive in road… it is beside himalaya mall… would definately suggest this place…

The hotel is good with basic amenities available which just as much required for travellers in a shoestring budget. Also for a quick stay this place is ideal. The complimentary breakfast is also not that bad agin with few choices to eat from. The Ginger in Ahmedabad near Himalaya Mall is centrally located in the city and very convenient for the people who is accessing this place.

Good Pleasant Hotel to stay. Situated at Market place but a little far from road keeps you out off noice as well as close to market area n Mall to relax yourself and get some stuff of your choice. Nice smiling staff.

Rooms are poorly maintained and reeks of cigarettes smoked by earlier occupants. Poor lighting and storage facilities is something common to every room. The room's floor is mopped with the same mop which is used for mopping the toilets. The rooms are definitely not at par with the standards of other Ginger hotels. Staff is polite but still learning the ways of management… Kindly avoid.

The hotel is great. The staff are not only polite but greet their customers with warmth. The hotel is located behind Himalaya mall in Ahmadabad. It's location is ideal as it is close to various tourist attractions such as sabarmati ashram.

Went to ahmedabad for conference. Stayed alone for 3 says n 2 nights. Nice hotel… good safe and economical for stay… food and ambiance also good… service can be slightly improved… staff is also nice and helpful. Had good experience. Also big bazar dominis and more food plazas nd shopping malls r exactly infront of the hotel. U just come out of the hotel and u have n number of options for food n shopping right in front of u.

The hotel is located at a very posh area. Gurukul is such a place which has everything within a radius of 2 km. The hotel is not visible from the road hence there are no noisy horns nor the hustle of a busy place. The place is just behind himalaya mall. Staff are very quick in response and courteous. Has a very good complimentary breakfast. The in house restaurant is good too. Hotel has arrangements for renting vehicles.

As compared to other hotel price is quite high as well as service can be improved however room size is average and breakfast too, as per competition in ahmedabad specially in hotel industry there should be a rate flexibility or else stander of service needs to be improved.

You get all basic needs. Rooms are small but have all that is needed. Rooms could have been better planned. AC blows on to your face. Restaurant is average in taste, but Ok.

It is economic hotel because when you go to ota, you find a good discount. Service is good and they do give relaxation time at checkout. Main point is service — response by the employees is very good, which every traveller wants.

This is a nice 3 star property. They should work on their food quality in morning buffet as the food is so boring. They call it buffet but they charge for masala fresh tea and coffee. Rooms are good but the is no view. Rooms could be bit bigger. Location of the hotel is quite central in the town.

Excelent staff — Specially Manager Mishra Ji and chef Mr. Akhtar. Food is awsome. Rooms with good ambience. The best part is its location… it is just situated behind the Himalaya Mall which remains open till 11:00 pm. After dinner you can have a nice walk and spend some good time here… It is strongly recommended to stay at Ginger.

Very nice experience at Ginger Ahmedabad. The room facilities are nice. The service is gr8 and the Manager here is very co-operative. We wanted an economical stay here for two days and Ginger we think was the right choice we made. Awesome 3 star hotel. Located at one of the best Location of ahmedabad. Places to visit near by hotel are open air theatre, Himalaya mall, vastrapur lake.

Good for nothing hotel. Small rooms, loud window A/C, unclean, unwashed linens, crappy breakfast. Old property, badly needs a makeover. Only positive was it was close to Gujarat University Exhibition Center where I wanted to go. Will not recommend to anyone, there are other good properties around, please stay elsewhere.

Perfect stay in a perfect budget.

Stayed at Ginger Ahmedabad from 10th Dec to 23rd Dec. The room was decent and food was also fine but very Bad customer service. The only good and professional behavior I observed was from the restaurant manager who was quite helpful and understand customer service. But would rate this hotel low because experienced bad service and no support from 18th Dec where in I was not able to login to the Wifi. My username and password were throwing invalid error. Reported this to the reception, the Manager and even on ginger hotel website but no response. I repeatedly asked them to help me connect as I had important office work but they never replied back. The saddest part, the staff lying about the issue saying that no one was able to use Wi-Fi which was not the truth as I confirmed from some guests their Wi-Fi was working and even one guest connected the Wifi in reception area near me. The hotel not even bothered to provide alternate login for the time being. Frustrated I decided to checkout early (initially I had booked till 25th dec) Sometime I had to ask for the laundry bags and hand towels which was not provided regularly. The hotel is so careless they didn't even apologize for these issues nor ever replied me on the Wi-Fi issue. This is a very bad experience staying at Ginger and I would urge my company to reconsider this hotel option for booking in future for other employees.

Worst hotel I had been in India. 1. First impression:-Sir self service u have pick your luggage by ur own till 5th floor… (what does the meaning of hotels & facility why I am paying) 2. No restaurants after 11pm. 3. No foods in fridge in rooms only one water bottle haha. Don't want to say intelligent n exo peoples can have a idea… m still in hotel just checked in 2 hours before the hell… booked MakeMyTrip.

Not as good as in Ludhiana, Haridwar. (now closed), or Delhi. Wifi is only possible on Internet Explorer and Mozilla as was told. It does not work at all on Android devices. Stay is comfortable and hassle free. Value for money yes. Prices vary day to day. Booking in advance is no guarantee for best rates. Wifi needs overall change.

I happened to stay in Ginger Surat and as well as Ginger Ahmedabad. Housekeeping was up to date with ample support for the requests made. Secure and safe parking. However Ginger has to provide accomodation for the drivers which is a necessity of the guest.

Had chance to accomdate for 2 nights the facilities offerd were unbeatable with superior quality only thng is surrounded by the heavy trafficing environment.

There's nothing extra special about this hotel but it's clean, affordable, the service is good and there is an internal restaurant that offers a basic mixed Western/Indian breakfast as well as other meals. The main complaint I have is that the Wi-Fi was quite poor — it timed out, signal was poor in some areas including the lobby and restaurant, it was slow at times and the login system was clunky. My double room was clean and tidy with AC, cable TV, closet, en-suite with shower and writing desk — functional but not special. The view was awful, not that I minded particularly.
