Our stay at Marron Sea View was not a happy one. The cottage they gave us had so much problems. The lock at the door didn't work. We had to go to the reception every time we had to go out and get their personal to close the door. The electricity fluctuated the whole day. And everytime it did, the air conditioning went off and it took half and hour to get it back on. The air conditioner was faulty. The television did not worked. We requested them multiple times and every time it stopped again. They came up with the solution to give us 10% off on our stay or pay for our cab back for our inconvenience. But when we contacted them regarding this they stopped responding. Its not worth the cost guys. There are multiple resorts near it that are lesser costly if you are just going for the view. The restaurant at the property is another rip off that charges you 50 bucks for a bad tea. They need to realize if they are charging like a 3 star resort, the facilities should match it. Disappointed and feeling ripped off.

Everything about Marron is just too good… the food the ambience the service!

Oh what a place it is, lush green grass, beautiful and clean rooms, effective A/C and hot shower. Even the drawers were soft close and the baby kept sleeping while opened them frequently. Wonderful staff and owner. Restaurant serves great food. Only drawback was no room service, but that's ok as it avoided cockroaches and ants inside room. Highly recommended. I will definitely come again.

Marron is located at the far end of Palolem beach. It has a pretty, almost private beach feel to it. The resort is right off the beach so you can walk right out of your room, on to the sand and get right into the sea. The rooms are good but not fancy. They have air conditioning and room service. The beds are very comfortable. The restaurant isn’t the best place you could eat at, but has a decent breakfast and all the regular fare you would get in shacks. Evenings play host to live music on certain days. The best thing about this place is the location, and it’s proximity to the nicer eating shacks. The rooms aren’t soundproof so if you have loud neighbours, they may keep you up at night.

Loved the stay, as this place is in the extreme corner so it has lot of privacy and less unwanted crowd, their food was delicious too.

Visited this place in May end. The rooms have got wonderful Sea view and are very well furnished. The restaurant serves great variety of food. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend this resort is just for you.

Marron Sea View Resort is an exceptionally good place to be when you are in Goa. The rooms and the restaurant of the resort are just next to the beach. I spent 2 entire days sitting next to the soothing waters. A great place to chill with your friends.

We went to the restaurant by the beach — the location is absolutely beautiful! It was late Sunday night with kids that we decided to give this place a try — for dinner. Decor is impressive and all everything was great barring a few things — we've observed in Goa that service seems to take it's own sweet time while no expectations are set and this place was no different. The kids wanted to try pizza ended up eating a burnt pizza base! Having said that, they made up with some entrees and dessert. In Goa a few things can go bad but overall the view, ambience and holiday mood of visitors overcomes all the glitches. I'd recommend, you set expectations at first and then order — in case you are a strickler for perfection.

Right at the end of Palolem just beside the silent noise rocks, U can find Marron with super clean huts properly placed to have great view. Huts were of excellent size including washroom which was a bonus. Housekeeping was prompt in no words can think of any Cons here. Keep up the good work Restaurant — Good food and great staff, ready to take extra leap to meet out taste buds Highly recommend place even for family With kids PS They have huts at back too and are of same designs more or less just view from room is missing but no compromise on any other front.

The best sea facing resort in Goa and 1 of the best sea beach at Goa to enjoy.

Cheap drinks, healthy food and no stomach problems. Also I did not get any bed bugs. Everything is clean the service is brilliant. It is a place you can rely on for a comfortable safe holiday. Oh yes epic place for views at Sunset and coffee in the morning. I will definitely come back for a few nights of chilling.

Absolutely fantastic place. Lovely clean and well maintained cabins on the beach, lovely people, the best beach, fantastic food — especially their Indian specialities, great cocktails and great service. Breakfast and coffee is great too. I Highly recommended to stay here. Would love to come back.

Cabins overlooking the sea. It has its own restaurant (which is very important) with good eating. The breakfast included is good! The location is excellent, very quiet. Clean rooms with air. You can access the rest of the restaurants. Or downtown walking on the beach.

Excellent resort with amazing food. The sea facing rooms are very good and it is heavenly when you get up in the morning and you get to see the wide ocean. The service is also good and I give 5 star mainly for the food. Amazing preparation. And you can enjoy the food on the beach. Thats the beauty of this place.

The resort has awesome views but the staff is very rude. They spoiled our very first day experience by delaying our check-in time, by first giving us wrong room and for all this mess, not even apologising even once. Even the resort is pricier than most others nearby.

Perfectly located on Palolem beach. Spacious, clean, well furnished rooms. The staff could be a little friendlier. Wish they were more welcoming to Indians. Try to get the huts in the front, although all are sea facing.

It's a property which is functioning on only location. Good location on the beach with average staff. Rest everything of the property is bad. No check in or check out. No bill provided. Rooms… Wooden cabins with minimal privacy. Not worth the cost. Electricity fluctuates thus making AC ineffective. Below average linen and bad pillows. No slippers, tea or coffee making facility. Washroom… Basic with permanent stink in them. Wash basin high and far thus uncomfortable for ladies. Toiletries below average. Towels thin and rough. Washroom full of insects. Restaurant… Uncomfortable entry, bad seating and lighting. Slow service with average quality of food. Staff is good and smiling but kitchen is located far off and food takes minimum 30 minutes for delivery. Floor of restaurant is sand full of fleas and insects. We have come back with red marks all over our legs. Breakfast… Don't go for it. They charge 500 bucks and provide basic set menu with limited options. Better to have breakfast in nearby cafes. Lounging Area… Extremely small with no umbrellas. Has grass which again is full of fleas and insects. Overall Experience… Our worst holiday experience in Goa or anywhere else. Will never return to this property and Recommend others to avoid. Many excellent options available on Palolem beach itself.

Pros — Good food, fantastic view, right by the beach, complimentary breakfast, cute wooden cottages with TV, AC, hot water, clean running water at all times. They provide two bottles of water everyday. They also have tie ups with locals for boat rides and cars and bikes on rent. Cons — No kettle in the room, average toiletries, no slippers. Get your own. Added tip: Get a mosquito repellent. Goa tends to have lots of bugs with stingy bites. Get sunscreen of SPF 100 or higher, else no point applying any, you will get badly tanned.

Marron's Seaview Resort at Palolem Beach is a wonderful place to stay. Also the Silent Noise Party is close-by. The beach itself is beautiful.
We had checked out this place on one of our earlier visits and got a chance to enjoy our staycation here this time around.
All the rooms are sea view or partial sea view. Washrooms is clean and the room has a cosy set-up. The sit-out area was our favourite. It's at the end of the beach, so no noise from the nearby beach huts. Food is good too and the staff is extremely polite. All in all we loved it here.

Amazing place for food n drinks with a beautiful landscape, specially the sunset.

This place was wonderful — admittedly they still hadn't finished getting it ready after the end of the monsoon season… Although they told me that they had started 2 months the ago so I guess it's the laid back attitude that might be delaying things! That didn't put a downer on our stay though. We stayed in a superior room: there are two room types and from what I gathered, the superior rooms were on the ground floor and right at the front. The deluxe room where on the second floors with two at the front and the rest at the back — all with lovely sea views. I don't think there is really a big difference between the two room types. We had room 8 which was slap bang in the middle at the front. The food was good here, although the cocktails weren't the best the beach had to offer! Generally a quiet place compared to elsewhere on the beach… That being said, November isn't a particularly noisy time at palolem from what I was told. They do accept card, although the machine they have charges you in your home currency at a rate that's about 3% worse than the interbank exchange rate, plus it adds on 4.5% which is a pain. We were there during the demonetarisation crisis so didn't really have a choice! Most places on or near the beach accept cards and charge about the same.
