This is my 4th visit to this hotel. Love the staff and service every time! They never disappoint!

The buffet was a disaster. The staff were unhelpful — even after informing them that at least five members were 80 + and would need help. The stuff we ordered from the buffet took ages to come. So not worth the money!

It was a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency in Kolkata. The staff was especially helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast is awesome. The room had a great view of the courtyard, swimming pool and the stadium. We look forward to visiting again.

The food variety isn’t up to the mark. There is not much food which can be marked with very important identification. Food quality isn’t also up to the mark. Dessert was good. But most important thing it's highly expensive. I don't know why it's so expensive comparing to its food.

Awesome food quality at quite affordable rate tag. I strongly recommend to those really craving for Italian cuisine will not disappoint for sure. ♥️

Beautiful Environment, Friendly staff.

Too much protocols placed, could not visit the floors, the lighting of the place was ridiculous, everything looked pink, food was cold, although booking was done in advance, no table was booked. When we got the table and went for bringing food, someone else sat on the table and there was no staff to look into it. The next table that was provided did not have any cutlery, water, everything had to be asked for. Staff seemed to be busy attending those people who were staying and were in large groups. Reception could not even provide with 500 change. The only good thing was a staff named Wasim who was generous enough to provide me with the change. Overall not at all a pleasant experience, hope things improve.

Its always a good place to visit. Got a beautiful view from our room. Thanks for the hospitality also.

Worst hotel in India. This does not deserve to be called a 5 star. Calling it a luxury hotel is making you a fool. The rooms lobby terrace and pool are all dirty. Towels and bathrobe are shabby. If you ask for extra toiletries then they send the inferior quality ones which you don't find even in Oyo. Buffet spread in breakfast is minimum. Comfortor has no filling things are so bad that we checked out of our prepaid room rather than staying in don't visit here.

Those who organise pet friendly events are good people. And good people make great organisations.

First of all as per the price range they are offering is not good. per plate cost is 2150 but even no drinks (soft drinks) is not available. Also you will only get chicken and fish with in that price range. We visited for our anniversary, mentioned earlier that they will serve an pastry for us. But they forgot to provide that.

The Watertside Cafe is terribly under staffed. Only a few waiters were running around like mad, catering to a large number of guests, with utmost sincerity. But one feels bad for them. One feels uncomfortable seeing those young boys and girls slogging to serve food, while we eat. And they were doing it with smiling faces and were extremely well behaved. We had to wait almost one hour before someone attended to us. And after the food was ordered, it was another long wait before it arrived. Only if more people are employed for the same job, this problem will be solved.

We visited waterside cafe, worthless food ever. Ambience is good but poor service and poor quality of food. Waste of money. Their few staff was totally worth less. They didn't co-operate with us.

Hyatt Regency Kolkata was extremely helpful to allow the accommodation at this time of need for many US citizens who wanted to get to the evacuation flight! Very nice and helpful guest services and clean sainted rooms. They took extra care to saniye the luggages and provided great service!

Excellent staffs and they do care about there guests.

Will never forget our 3 months stay here. All the staff were courteous. But GREAT KUDOS to their housekeeping staffs who made great creative ARTISTIC designs using the towels.
They crafted the normal towels it to look like Puppies, Dolphins, Swans. It was so sweet of them.

Undoubtedly the hotel atmosphere is too awesome but the hospitality I have faced with a poor experience. The security guards are well cultured than the front desk staff's. After check-in, they told that my luggage is delivered to my room, still waiting and call the desk several times I pushed to take the same individually. At night I asked the room service for drinking water, but it's too delay in the service. Secondly after check out we have asked for breakfast, but the front desk guy told me that there is no complementary avails for the same due to it's a corporate booking, is you people don't takes the room and other accommodation payment from our corporate company.?
do you people might thought that these corporate persons are habitual of free eating? after several conversations with the booking agent they finally allowed us for breakfast.
not the last the hotel is filled with a sceneric views with ambience. But the hospitality I have ever rated is very poor due to the behavior of some idiots who are dressed gently but they should rated as third class Dhaba boy's. Keep take a lation how to behave from the under rated staff's working under you. It's my pleasant that I might take another visit in upcoming months, if you should correct these mistakes.

Would have given more stars but their check in is slow. And their security staff needs more training on how to handle their guests. Had a sour experience with them. Rooms are spacious and clean. Other staff are friendly yet professional. Food is up to the mark. Good variety on their menus.

This is a perfect place to be when you travel to India Kolkata for any occasion. Safe, closed to main attractions. Staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Food is great and there is variety. I would give 9/10 for service and staff behaviour, they're very friendly. The rooms are too comfortable just like you see in movies stars living a luxury life. It is located near SaltLake Stadium which is good for the people who have match to watch.

Went to waterside cafe for the 2nd time. It was ok. Considering the dinner buffet price that waterside cafe charges, the items served is very limited. Try and give your customer some more spreads as we pay a good amount for the buffet. Try to keep up the charm once hyatt had… just a bit of an advice! Rest all ok.

A typical 'Regency'. Good mid sized rooms with a friendly staff. The pool gym n spa are good. The view other than the street facing rooms is nice. A good walking track too around the property. Do cater for the weather though.

One of the best hotels in Kolkata. Excellent service. Wonderful environment. Nice behavior of the crews. Clean atmosphere. Comfortable stay with every kind of facility. And, the confectionery outlet just beside the reception is so famous. I tested the cakes there and although those are very expensive but worth to buy. Taste was amazing, so is the quality. The foods served in this hotel are hygienic and delicious.

This place has lost it's hospitality, service quality and warmth. The place is no more a fine dining 5 star restaurant but an ordinary North Indian food joint. I would not to mention names but the personnel responsible for service is in no mood to extend proper service and taking us for a ride till he's taken to task. In my opinion Hyatt is loosing the brand image out of it. Will surely not reconsider repeat visit and maybe not recommend at all. I am this review wouldn't make much of a difference to the hotel but still feel that let people be aware of the facts.

Extremely helpful staff. Prompt service and attentive front desk. Hyatt is slightly difficult to reach by public transport but is a delight to stay at. They know the value of their customer's time.

Was there only for attending a professional event. I've been here a few times but always for some event. What this place consistently gives us good food even if it's limited by variety for such programs. The hotel is quite good and makes way for food venues to host private or professional events.

Stayed here for our friend's wedding. Everything was exceptional! Staff super welcoming, breakfast galore, and the bedrooms were beautiful and spacious. The bath/walk in shower duo was so lovely!

I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The check in process was a breeze. The front desk staff was very courteous. The breakfast buffet was a huge selection of Indian and western palate. I just sampled some of the Indian food and it was tasty. I was on a multi city tour of India and stayed at various hotels. Hyatt was definitely the best hotel. If I am back in Kolkatta I would stay here without any hesitation.

Hyatt regency is one of the finest luxurious property in heart of the city, l, nearby yuvabharathi stadium also known as salt lake stadium. It is quite affordable for all kind of guests. Most preferable by foreign FIT guest. Frequently it arranges most of the well known food fest of the city. Yes it's not very near to airport but each and every guest can easily access the public transport for city tour.

Terrible service! No coordination between hotel stuffs. The washrooms are always dirty. No scanner at the place where the events take place so everyone is asked to open the bag for searching. Avoid staying here. This doesn’t deserve to get the Hyatt logo.

One of the five star hotel of Kolkata. Nice Ambience. Great services. Hosts many events like Farmer's market, inauguration ceremony of cars, weddings, parties etc. Located just beside Salt lake stadium, so it's easy to reach.

All in all I was expecting a hotel of this class much more!
Positive: The hotel was really clean, most staff (exception was the director and some reception staff) was very friendly and eager to meet any requests. The fitness area is well equipped and has a good workout.
In any case, it is advisable to use the club lounge, where coffee, tea or soft drinks are always available during the day (cost is approx. 40, €0/day and double room) and from 18-20 pm beer, wine and long drinks are offered for a small buffet.
Unfortunately, the negative side of the page is overwhelming: There was no mention in our booking that the pool would not be usable. As we pointed out on the spot it was only succinct: "At some point the pool has to be maintained" but this was decided only after our booking (and advance payment). So the pool was full time, not usable for 14 days.
Also the construction works in the aisle, which meant three days of planning on the aisle, tool noise and dirt right in front of the room have significantly diminished the recreational effect.
The fact that the room card was deleted several times during the holiday and had to be replayed again or the elevator did not go was annoying, but can still be trivialised.
There was no understanding or interest in coming to us — after a 5-hour discussion with the hotel manager, we finally passed about 7% of the travel price.

Is very good hotel. The staff are good. But the hotel besides the EM Bypass for that the environment very noise. The room are very good. The car parking services good for enough. I satisfied with the hotel.

Best looking hotel in my opinion in terms of design and aesthetics… Gives you a feel of A Mediterranean HOTEL right out of a magazine of two estate for EGYPT/DUBAI … Colour-wise and of course the palm trees add the Mediterranean flavor to the hotel. WEDDINGS ARE HOSTED HERE AS WELL AND they are always classy, elegant and overall magical! My favourite hotel design-wise.

Was invited over for an event with was followed by dinner. The conference hall was spacious and was well lit and severed its purpose well. Following the event, dimmer was served. Food was short, by the time I went to take food, almost nothing was left. The staff were trying to get more food to the hot plate, I am not sure, if the planning to blame.

The food is quite good compared to the other hotels. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are pretty posh. The view from the hotel rooms is also pretty good. There are a few rules that annoyed me such as no photography allowed in certain areas in the hotel. All in all it was a good stay.

Best Hyatt in the country in my opinion. Food is excellent. Staff is caring. Rooms sure extremely spacious and the bathroom is unique. Pool is fantastic. Lots of area in the hotel to sit back and relax. Downside is the view from one side, best view is from the pool side.

It's a five star hotel of an internationally renowned chain. It's a beautiful hotel with ample parking space. Among many good restaurants of this hotel there is one Italian restaurant offering authentic Italian dishes. It has all other facilities that any five star hotel provides. The staffs are very courteous and cooperative. They are well groomed.

Hi I m Dr Udaya S Sharma stayed there in 338 from 17th to 19th june16 everything was good except u dint provide a charger point/lead for my iPhone or for a Samsung. I had to send my driver abour 12 mmp from there to bring it from Novotel. Does look odd? pls take care n arrange a charging station/lead in each room.

The worst hotel ever. I stayed and do stay in various five stars but this one is like what? Very poor hospitality one can ever face from a five star hotel staff, they are not attentive at all, from the hotel gate to the FO to bell boys to food and beverage guys all has constipated faces, guess they all have to learn how to put up a smile! The reception people kept me waiting for 2 hours just to transfer the line to Guchi! God help them. Moreover the food is over expensive, just 3 nuns and a simple Jodhpuri alu dum costed me 2300 rupee! Not recommended at all, at least i'm not gonna stay there again. The worst experience ever.

Very typical large Hotel of the Hyatt group. During this trip I did stay a few days in the Oberoi, the grand. The contrast with this enormous hotel can't be bigger. Staying on the Club floor is very nice and save a lot of money, because the drinks and food is free… Yes even the wine. Great rooms.

The hotel is well located and nicely done up. However, I did not quite find the service to be up to the mark. I went there for a late night coffee with my sister and a couple of my friends. There weren't many options really for a quick bite and the coffee was just about okay. The service staff did appear a little u understaffed to be honest.

Worst food ever! This place is noisy! There is a function going on right now and it is giving me a migraine. They shifted me to another room which is equally noisy! Check if there are any functions/parties going on at the hotel, before you book rooms here because if there is one, you will not get any peace or comfort at this hotel!

Hyatt Regency Kolkata is a luxury business hotel in Kolkata. Being the first five-star hotel in Salt Lake City, it is also acclaimed as one of Kolkata’s favourites.    The hotel is closer to the airport so convenient to come in and go to the airport. The Rooms are good, Comfortable and no complaints. The bath area is really luxurious and well done. The hotel maintenance is a bit sloppy.

The service was really like a 2 star hotel can't even go near the standards of itc sonar bangla or the grand hotel.

Ordered a Coke and they brought a little 300ml canned Coke. When I asked for the bill it was 325 rupees! Over $5! And that was before they added the 40 rupee tax. I talked to them but it wasn't a mistake. Those things are 25 rupees in the store.

It is a good gotel and appears stunning on the surface, esp if you are from the West. However, by Indian luxury standards, it is more of a 3.5 star. Staff are courteous. Gym facilities and eating options leave room for improvements for what it claims to be. Room was not not fully sound insulated, and you need that for a good sleep in kolkata. Food is also v overpriced compared to likes of Taj Bengal or Grand Oberoi. Overall stay ib Taj Bengal for same rpice and better experience, but this one is closer to the airport.

Hyatt Regency Kolkata is one of the best 5 star hotels in kolkata. Located just 20 mins drive from the airport and 10 mins from IT hub of kolkata. This luxury business hotel has 3 restaurants with amazing food. One must try authentic Italian cuisine at Lacucina. Must reccommend for every trvellers.

The overall experience is fantastic. My only concern is about child labour which was observed during lunch buffet. I saw small children serving, collecting plates, I raised my concern to Banquet Manager, let's see the improvement.

It had a very ambient atmosphere and I really enjoyed it. Food was good, though since we were have a buffet I didn't get to try my favourites. Service was very good. Per head cost is approx Rs. 1000.
