Superb view with delicious food and good service. Sea view balcony seating is very confortable to enjoy food and Drink.

The location is very good, just near the rock beach. Apart from that nothing else. The rooms are average, no parking for the vahicles. You will have to park somewhere on the roadsides. In the evening time you wont find any parking location near the hotel as it's when most of the people come to the beach. Hotel is not interfacing the sea, so there are no rooms which you will have direct view of sea.

Located just next to beach, just park your vehicle somewhere near hotel, checking and enjoy. The walks on road, nearby garden, laze around late night or early morning, eat n drink from many nearby options. Hotel staff under supervisor made the stay very comfortable. Rooms are neat and clean with some rooms with diagonal sea facing balcony (you may not need as you can just jump off to sea side directly). I stayed twice in same hotel.

Fantastic hotel. Rooms are clean. It's just in front of the promenade beach (rock beach). I stayed here for 2 days and really had a good time. Staff is well behaved and coordinating. Though you will not get the sea view.

Not worth enough to give a single star Rent is too high to compare with the facilities provide. …. They offer free breakfast … but limited… Not even fill my half stomach … in my history forced to have breakfast in room.

A place that is cheap, clean and offers the best views of the sea. This hotel is situated in a prime location where everything you will require during your holiday is available withing a 2 kms radius. The manager and staff are friendly and helpful. The room offer a great deal of privacy. The bathrooms are clean and odor free. The best part about our stay was during midnight when we cut a cake celebrating my mother's birthday in the balcony. It was a surreal moment with the waves crashing against the rocks in the background and the amazing sea breeze. The management were kind enough to provide us a room with the best view when we requested a room change. We never tried the food there, so I recommend eating outside. It's cheaper and you will get good options. It was a nice, relaxing holiday.

A very cozy place to stay with your dear one. Clean rooms, sea facing balcony and courteous service are what for which you would love to visit the place again and again. You can enjoy late night stroll in the beach. The bike service is the most convenient communication of travelling in Pondicherry.

Average hotel, not very spacious rooms but the cost is for sea view and the place where hotel is situated. It's awsum to live in promenade for a day at this cost. Staff is friendly and helpful, it's very near to la cafe.

As a journalist, I have travelled far and wide across the country to remote places as well as metro cities. Never did I come across such rude and ill behaved managerial staff. I mistakenly booked rooms for 23rd March instead of 23rd Feb, which was my planned travel date. They gave me and my friend a small, dingy room for a price double than that of the previously booked sea facing room. They promised to shift us to the sea facing room, the next morning. But in the morning, they said that no such promise had been made and that we had to stick to the small room for double the price. We decided to check out and shift to some other hotel. After we packed our luggages and were about to leave, they called us and informed us that the sea facing room was available for a lower price. We felt cheated. ps. They don't have complimentary breakfast. They don't provide you with towels or buckets until you call them and request them several times.

Originally finished to a good standard. However maintenance and attention to detail is lacking. Not expensive though.

The hotel has very nice and spacious rooms with excellent views of bay of Bengal. The interior is very tastefully decorated. One can spend the afternoon by sitting in the balcony. Food is top costly but there are enough good eateries nearby. Also please check before booking that you will get the room with best views.

Had a wonderful dining in the open balcony. Good food specially seafood here. And the charming promenade right in front. Overall a nice experience.

Lotus Bay View Hotel was OKAY. There was not very good ventilation in my room and since we were right near the beach, it was very humid inside the room itself but the customer service made up for that. The cleaning ladies keep the hotel nice and neat always and breakfast is brought to the rooms free of charge every morning. You can have a choice of American breakfast or Indian breakfast (I would recommend going with the Indian)! The front desk people Prince and Sathish are great and will go beyond lengths to provide you with whatever you need even outside of typical hotel needs. We were welcomed with open arms and on the day of arrival we were crowned with flower chains. Every morning local women decorate the hotel entrance with a colorful mural that is meant to keep protection from God over the establishment.

Very good place with cozy rooms. I would give a thumbs-up for couples. It is located near promenade beach which is beautiful to hangout. The sunrise looks very good from this beach.

Had a very pleasant stay over here. Location of hotel is sea facing. With some good and always smiling staff, this hotel is really cool. The hotel menu is also quite good and will suit ur taste. Once u stay over here, it is certain that u ll book the same hotel again n again.

The rooms that we took was with two double beds. The room was having a balcony with a good view of the sea and beach. They were polite and also the rooms were clean.

Neat and clean, very close to the shore. The do have dorm on top floor. Its a nice cosy place. Would recommend to book in advance during high season.

It is a budget hotel but the location of the hotel is just amazing being next to the promenade beach. Also many good restaurants are in the vicinity of the hotel.

Simply waste… The only advantage is being very near to the beach. Otherwise the rooms don't worth your money. The rooms are small and needs much attention in the maintenance side.

Please don't visit this hotel. Torn Bedsheets and Blankets. Dirty pillow covers. Even after complaining twice they didn't change. Please measure your options correctly before you step into this Pandora's Box.

Good place near the beach. The sea view balcony is exactly opposite but on the side. But it's very close to beach which is good.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Not all the staffs speak English which made it very difficult but the location of the hotel is on point. The rooms are not great, torn bed spread and washrooms not very good there was no geezer. No breakfast provided its chargeable and the breakfast was not worth it because we waited for more that 40mins for 3toasted bread and 2 boiled eggs! 1 raw banana and the fruit juice was rasna! Laundry also takes a lot of time n its quite expensive. The television had only local and French channels no other choices available. But if u are here not for the room but for the location then it is a great place. The beach is just a couple of second away from the hotel. But service wise and other stuffs it needs a lot of improvement. And they need to communicate more with the guests.

It is located right next to beach road. Rooms are clean and spacious. Plus they do not have parking. So, you have to park yor vehicle on the road.

Awesome and safe place to stay, situated very close to rock beach. best place to go for a walk with your loved once. for rooms meant for 2 people they provide a large comfortable floor bed with extra charge. you can also order food. However its bit costly and not that good.

It has a pretty good view of the rock beach. The rooms are pretty good too. However, their food delivery timings are atrocious. Took them more than half an hour to deliver noodles.

I stayed here with my friends for one night. Location is a BIG advantage for this hotel! Its right on promenade beach! Everything is walkable distance. The Room we got was seafacing room which was fine — just that you have a side ways facing view of the sea. Great Overall!.

One of the great and elegant family hotel in Pondicherry. Here rooms are very clean and have good beach view from balcony. But it covers the side view, not the front view of tje beach. So its upon your luck if your balcony has the beach view it not. The Location of the hotel is very good. Since it is on the beach road you can always enjoy sitting near beach and feel the breeze. There are few coffee shops and ice cream parlour near by. The hotel management also provided two-wheeler rental service. The hotel is a bit expensive due to its apt location.

Response from staffs are poor. No quality. Rooms smell bad. Not even proper ventilation facility. Even drinking water not given. Bad checking in and out time 12 to 12. Rent is too costly. Per hour they want more than 1000 if we come early as many tourists. Over all bad exprience.

The place is ok only because of the location, poor management, staff is ok though. A little improvement and this place can become heaven.

Nice beach view, accessible to all areas in Pondi and clean rooms. Would have given 5 if I got all the amenities that were promised.

It's an OK hotel. They don't give us anything for the extra money they take from us for a stay except a pretty good free Wi-Fi connection.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Reservation: First Goibibo booking went for a toss. We booked two sea facing room, the Goibibo team called back after 3 days, informing an issue with the inventory of the hotel because of which one room is not available for one night. So they suggested to take a non sea facing room for that night. We were two familiea so at least one family was not impacted. When I called the hotel before booking, the rooms were available. I suspect the hotel denied the booking, cause they directly received another booking, with more room rent than Goibibo. Rooms : Very small and smelly. Even after staying for 2 nights, we could still smell the room after coming entering the room. one room had a refrigerator while other did not. We had to ask to shift the refrigerator bro another room. Service: Horrible Attitude. How can they afford to be in the business with this attitude. I guess it's acceptable in Tamilnadu or Pondicherry. Can barely speak English, can't even form sentences, they assume the guests can speak tamil. Even after staying there for 1 night the manager tries to explain things in Tamil. I was not sure what was he trying to do. The complimentory water bottles were not kept in the room, when reminded they delivered and ensured that they charged 90 INR, for 20 INR MRPed bottles. After reminding him again during check out, he was not ready to accept. Finally he accepted as if he is doing a favour.

Worst accommodation. Very Very Very poor service. Even the room boys are not ready to carry my luggage No car parking, no food service. Bills are not correct do not choose this hotel I am not recommending this to any one. I was suffered very much.
