Very good to stay as a family as theh provide a kitchenette and a washing machine with dryer. The plumbing in the bathroom requires some attention. We have stayed here several times due to the location and the property amenities. Breakfast spread is not so great and also the taste. Otherwise I recommend staying here.

Excellent hospitality with good accommodation & comfort. I loved and relaxed much here.

The service apartment is very pretty and spacious. The area is also chilled out. Radio room, one of the most happening place is also located in here. But a very big turnoff is the staff and their lack of support is big negative.

The music, food and service at Radio Room is excellent. I’ve been frequenting Radio Room for two years now and their Anniversary Celebrations last week was awesome. As always, a great place to step out with friends and enjoy good music and dance the night away.

A wonderful service apartment hotel located in a quiet upmarket neighbourhood. The apartments are spacious, very well maintained and have all the appliances you need. The staff are also extremely helpful and nice. The food is also great with a lovely breakfast spread. The restaurant and the club on the ground floor are also amazing and are a must visit. But by far the highlight of this hotel is the infiniti pool on the rooftop. Stunning views and an excellent place to unwind.

It is a 5 star serviced apartment. It is good, but I would say it is quite decent. Though the rooms are good, some improvements can be done with cleaning and pest control. I found a lot of cockroaches. Service is decent too. Breakfast is okayish. All in all, great place but need some me improvements.

Great spacious rooms and amenities. It's an extended stay hotel, service apartments style so you have a kitchenette, utensils and washer/dryer in your room. We had a great room and view. Breakfast was great too. Check in and service could definitely be better, the receptionist tried to charge me the room charge at the time of check in even though my friend who had booked the room had already fully paid for the booking through clear trip. Luckily he caught it and called him out and escalated the issue. Finally they took it off after trying to argue for a while. That was the only reason for the average rating.

Fantastic experience. Great rooms, awesome breakfast, lovely pool with Jacuzzi, sauna, steam. Great restuarants offer lipsmacking food. Fantastic service too. Great prices for the package offered — recommended totally.

This hotel can also, is a four-star bar, the advantage is that this hotel has a washing machine with drying function, and there are kitchen utensils in the room, can cook. Moreover, the hotel has Chinese food, or good.

Its a Beautiful Hotel. Lot to say Room perfect, food perfect, location perfect, swimming pool awesome. Rooms equip of Washing Machine, electric stove, oven, fridge, utensils, iron, ironing table, gallery with seats & garden view. In hotel Bar & restaurant made it perfect. I had a family vacation at Chennai & we all love this hotel.

Very cheap stay but food beverage are too costly, nearby 2 restaurant good for food as well as for drinking, good room service, excellent rooms, I enjoyed there, very good place to stay, have large swimming pool in top floor.

My favourite property to stay at Chennai. Amazingly huge fly furnished rooms. Very tasty food, above average bfast spread, 24 hrs room service and an amazing lounge bar playing retro English music with good cocktails. Overall amazing value for money package place.

Decent stay. Service was good. Breakfast buffet spread was a plus. Maintenance and cleanliness could have been better.

We had a good stay, good courteous service in general and pleasant ambience. The terrace is beautiful and relaxing with a pool n hot tub. I think the one area they could improve on is room service. Stock more toilet paper, set the clocks (not done after repeated messages left on the clock), remove coffee flasks from the previous day etc.

Stayed here for a night, the suite room I checked in to was beautiful had anything and everything required. The food quality and taste was average was not good. Did not get much time to explore the hotel but went to Radio Room bar which is in the hotel, it had live music it was one of the best places to visit inside the hotel. Overall an okay place to visit.

It's a very good place for long stays. They have three restaurants and a Radio Room which is a bar. It's the happening place in town. It's a very good and peaceful place.

It's a nice place to be at. Food is a bit overpriced compared to the taste. Staff were helpful, but the service needs to improve. They get the food served a bit late.

They have a good restaurant with open space dining too. We had nice veg food.

One of the most enjoyable and Recommended hotel in Chennai. Must visit hotel. It is apartment hotel, with homely feeling. Washing machine, Kitchen utensils provided by hotels are very useful. Infinity pool at roof top is also very nice. Overall it is a blasting stay.

I went for a lunch with my family. The food, ambience, service were really good. The location is away from the traffic and it's in a residential area. I really had a great time being there.

Hygiene environment. Well maintained apartments /suite (loved it). There is no proper escort/host to the customers gets in. Had to wait long time to check in (that might be their procedure I think). Pool is absolutely funny. Just 4ft. You can imagine why am laughing rght nw. View from roof was an awesome stuff. Food was avg. (Non-veg) as there was no much varieties and not so tasty. If you are planning for 1 day stay… it's nice option. I liked it.

Super stay option. Large rooms with a dry kitchen. And the pub below called Radio Room is one of the best in the town. The room tariff are extremely pleasing to the traveller!

Radioroom is a nice bar to chill at. The best thing about the place is that they mostly play classic rock music. The crowd tends to be a bit older because of that. The food and the cocktails selection are really good and compensate for everything else. The mutton chukka toast and the 24.7 shooter are a must try.

Amazing radio bar at the ground floor. Food is amazing and so is the crowd and ambience. Palak Chaat is a must try.

Apartments are spacious but need maintenance and updating. Service is not consistent. Overall satisfactory.

Restaurant is good, I loved it. The way guests are treated are excellent. Good approach and decent interaction. I will never miss a chance to go there again.

Somerset has been gaining a lot of attention recently. Timely changes made by them and the new testament the pub has gained a lot of attention in town. Radio room is so good and drinks are amazing there.

The best hotel in the south Chennai area! Very hospitable staff, and a great variety of things to do nearby. The complimentary breakfast buffet is filled with a great selection of food and snacks, recommended to try.

Good place to stay for 2 to 3 days. Nice ambience. Excellent guest services Doesn't meet the requirements of apart-hotel though.

It is a nice place to stay. But they take the room rent in advance. This is not a hotel. This is service residence. It has kid's room but has nothing in it. You have a medium sized swimming pool. Nice steam bath. The food can be better, it is not upto the rate.

No food will be spicy unless requested, yet not spicy enough. Spicy=burn it more! 3. Limited menu options 4. Nightmare if you are a vegan Overall whatever was served was good and we enjoyed the place and privacy. Thanks.

I checked In to this pretty property. The rooms are spacious and cozy. Loved the Infinity pool. And yes The Radio Room is a happening place. Helpful and quick room service. Most Recommend!

Excellent accommodation. Service was fantastic. Tharani our housekeeping person was very efficient. Suresh the security person was extremely helpful. Truly a great stay. My dad had a fall and staff went all out to assist us in every way possible. Great service culture. Keep it up.

Rooms are nice. Two restaurants that have in room dining here. The Japanese one called Chao don't bill it to the room. Food can be better. Staff is less than courteous. I've stayed at serviced apartments before and the housekeeping staff is always helpful. Which is far from what can be said at Somerset.

Comfortable stay. Bigger rooms compared to hotels. The hotel has a bar attached but needs prior booking and only couples allowed. And no minibar too. So if you mind having couple of drinks, better choose some other hotel. And for breakfast we have to collect a coupon from reception and give it in the restaurant, that kind of little odd for me. Stay was very comfortable and has all amenities.

Lovely hotel in the midst of chennai city close to IIT chennai. Lovely & lively place with excellent restaurants, Retro Bar, swimming pool & above all fully furnished apartment.

Spacious rooms, actually called apartments. Have full sized fridges, washing machines, cutlery, separate space for sitting, eating and sleeping. Actually decent suites. Good location. Buy service can be improved.

This is the best serviced apartment in chennai, I stayed here for a month. Friendly atmosphere, trained and professional staff. Well maintained swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam rooms. I'm very glad and happy by the professionalism the property is maintained,! and the care taken to listen to the guests about the needs and help them. The hotel has shuttle bus to two of the malls in the afternoons, again a thumbs up. Being there for one month, I have some improvement suggestions. 1. Some floors were marked non smoking but were allotted to smokers, terrible cigarette smoke smell from air conditions cross ventilated to other rooms, the hotel team could not address this after several requests. The toilets are poorly ventilated in the serviced apartments. 2. The food options are limited. Social restaurant had limited options in Indian food and vegetarian food. The outside food is allowed, but again limited vegetarian options available to order from locality. The breakfast by social is nice. 3. The social restaurant is poorly ventilated as well. This something I felt very odd, every time I take breakfast, my cloth, body, and hair smells the kitchen. The only option either to book take away breakfast or to take bath. Even after 4 hours taking breakfast the kitchen smell wouldn't simply go! Guys there need to look into this very seriously and work on it. One way they could install a glass partition between live kitchen and repair or upgrade kitchen hoods.

A very Good place for small functions Excellent Food & Management.

This is an absolutely stunning hotel. The room was immaculate and comfortable and the facilities are fantastic (used the gym, sauna, steam room and of course the rooftop pools. We had an amazing stay here and would definitely come here again.

Facilities are awesome, food from 2 restaurants are not bad. The best is the rooftop pool, night swim was amazing, if the sky is clear enough, you get to do stargazing. The only downside are pricey and the hotel is not surrounded by shops or business facilities, thus hard to get local food or goods.

Nice hospitality and smiling staffs.

I stayed there for one week, recently. I have been to many hotels in India and abroad. But the way this hotel staffs they treated us, I felt like I am a king in my own city. They are treating human beings as like a human beings. They are not money minded. Rooms are very clean and tidy and spacious washroom. I can marina beach from my room. This place is going to my destination, hereafter.

Overall the hotel is clean and well presented, spoiled by staff not well versed with customer service. On many occasions when rooms were serviced a shortfall for resupply of towels or soap seemed to be an issue, having to chase staff many times until late evening to supply. Burgundy Restaurant, food served cold, seemed to be a reluctance to follow standards for food to be stored in heated containers. I was reluctant to relocate, my apartment was well appointed, comfortable and in new condition spoiled by poor room service and food quality.

Great amenities, but only some of the staff are well-versed on great customer service. But overall, value for money is satisfactory.

Another nice place to chillax.
