Had been to the Wall St. The restaurant has a decent buffet at affordable price. The starters along with soup were served on the table and it has a live chat counter if you want to try your hands on some lovely chat varities. Highly recommend it for a small to medium sized crowd, family and friends who are looking to have some decent cuisines and probably with few drinks if needed.

Greetings! Attended a wedding on 12th December 2021 at the Senator (Basement 1). Either the party had invited too many guests or the hotel had mismanaged F&B service. The Hotel had cramped the buffet in a small room. It was like another Jalianwala Bagh. Highly improper organization by the Hotel. Atleast, not during COVID and OMICRON times. Utterly disappointed both by the Host and the Hotel Management.

Ample parking space is available. Very good ambience in and around. Food tastes very good. More vegetarian dishes were provided and every dish has its unique taste. More desserts compared to main dish were included in the menu and the ice cream was very nice. Little expensive since it is a star hotel.

The stay was excellent. To all main places it is near by. Well maintaining and superb hospitality. The staff is very polite and friendly taking care of guests. Rooms are spacious and neat. Giving all the facilities including toothbrush and shaving kit. Beds are very comfortable and clean. Morning breakfast is superb. Lot of varieties are available and delicious. Chennai better prefer this hotel. I liked it.

Very good ambience. Very humble staff. Very delicious food. A good place for family get togethers or a Sunday brunch. I am regular to this place and love it totally. They change the food menus frequently and have many varieties… live counters are there and they have kids menus also. A bit expensive. Just love being here.

Pretty decent place located around 5 km away from the Marina Beach. The rooms are nice, with a huge TV, air-conditioning, study desk, and even a mini bar. Timely room service ensures that everything remains squeaky clean. Amenities include a gym, a swimming pool, and a business center. Although the breakfast was good, the same can't be said about the lunch and the dinner.

Good food and good service. I would say value for money … None of the food harmed my stomach (spice is in control). Best day to visit is Sunday. If some day in weekday is given Happy hour kind of treatment it would be great. Rooms are also good. I would rate it 3.5.

Beautiful place, lovely rooms, courteous staff. Main Street is an excellent restaurant with a delectable buffet spread, also great value for money. The lobby on the guest floors and the artificial garden is a beautiful place to relax. Guest rooms are quiet and conducive for the tired traveler. A place I would heartily recommend.

Location (T-Nagar) is near to beach, tourist and shopping places. The service in the hotel is good — very friendly and professional. Morning breakfast buffet is delicious… with variety of options. The pool ambiance is neat and relaxing. I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Chennai.

Good restaurant, serving Food with and without ginger & garlic and nice place to eat with family. Quality of food is very good and ambience is awesome. Beverages are also very good and having loads of variety. Service of restaurant is very quick. I would like to eat again in this restaurant.

I recently visited residency towers for attending a social event. I was very much impressed by the ambience of the hotel and excellent facilities. The food was delicious especially the fish fry was the pick of the menu. It is one of the best places to spend your weekend with your family in the city.

Nice calm place with definitely a good buffet. Service is very good. But taste wise its very poor. But quality wise it's best.

Excellent hotel but little bit costly. Its Restaurant is nice but less food options. Complementary breakfast. Convenience is too much costly if hired from hotel. Almost 3 to 4 times costly than conveniance from outside. Rooms are very clean along with hygienic bath rooms. Few rooms are smaller than standard room size. Staff is helpful and professional.

Had been to Southern Aromas restaurant — the food is excellent. The thali has too many items. Superb ambience and service.

Excellent Hotel with great ambience and location… I had to visit there to meet my friend from Malaysia. It's was a good experience. I met the GM of the hotel and discussed sole official things. He greeted me with heartful hospitality and responded well. Good team and pls maintain it.

Residency Towers has earned it's name n carved itself a niche in the affordable hotel segment. The staff look at you now n then like you're from Mars, other than that they're cool, food is good, could be better. The rooms are pretty comfy.

We had a party in one of the halls. The staff responded promptly, helped out in the arrangements and catered to every need of ours. Chef Deena gave his tips in choosing the banquet menu and food was excellent and all the guests thoroughly enjoyed. Must make particular mention of the starters, the Indian breads, the curries and the desserts too. We had a memorable evening thanks to all at Residency Towers!

I don't normally write reviews but this place by far has been the worst hotel I have ever booked in. I am having my engagement on that night. Banquet manager calls me on my phone during the ceremony and asks me to come and settle the bills immediately. I told him I will come and clear the bills on following day. As I have asked them one day before shall I pay any advance. They said it's fine. And this banquet manager came and sat on my reception night right in front of everyone asking for payment. It is extremely unprofessional and he insulted me to the core. I am surprised hotel chains like Residency has employed these kind of people as managers. Worst experience ever! Please do NOT support!

Located in one of the largest commercial areas in Chennai. The infrastructure is elegant and the interior of the restaurant is like a Street in the New York. Food is above average. Only two starters and limited menu in main course. Good options available on fruits, salads, desserts and ice creams.

Located in the Heart of the city, this hotel is One of the best star hotels in Chennai. Very plush interiors with spacious large rooms. Contemporary rooms, well designed bathrooms. Very near the main shopping district of Chennai. Amazing interiors and great customer service. The roof top restaurant and the pub " Bike and Barrel" shouldn't be missed. Food is good here and their buffet has some great spread.

Extraordinarily bad customer service. I booked a room at The Residency Towers in early November for checking on 28th November. On 22nd November I called them to cancel the book as my guest could not come. My request was acknowledge and per policy I was entitled to a full refund. It's 9th Jan 2018 and I still have not gotten by refund. This is despite my repeated emails; which by the way, get no response. … This is not the kind of customer service expected. It's in these situations that the true quality of a hotel comes to the fore. Rest assured, this is the last time The Residency Towers is getting my patronage.

One of the best hotels that I had stayed. Service was great. Rooms were spacious and well attended. For gym and swimming pool, they have a strict dress code, that was my only regret. Next time, wanna pack a swim wear and sports shoe.

Always a pleasure to stay at The Residency. Excellent level of comfort, service and amenities. Especially great here is the food either at Main Street and room service orders. All their offerings taste very good. Especially important is their rolling 24 hour check-in. Not sure if this is a standard feature in other hotels, but it helps when you check-in late and need to check-out late due to flight schedules. You certainly won't go wrong booking your stay in Chennai at The Residency Towers.

The managerial staff is rude, unapologetic and unprofessional. They will raise their tone as soon as the customer displays a hint of displeasure. The ambience and rooms are good… Food is nice… Even lower staff s somewhat courteous… However, services are not prompt, you have to repeatedly nudge them over phone… And remember, they will lock the minibar giving all sorts of lame excuses… The pool is good and open till 9:30 PM… They have a rooftop dining place but it is open only for dinner… They have a pub too… But of what use? When the management works hard towards frustrating you throughout the stay, it is difficult to enjoy…

Place was great and lighting was awesome. I don't feel like foods are that much rich in taste. I prefer veg items over non-veg here.

I had been to this place quite a few times and I had good experience. But this time the story was different. The hotel, rooms and food are the best. But this time the service was bad. Room service had entered my room just replaced water bottles and left without cleaning. Had asked to book a cab to airport by 10. My cab did not arrive till 10.30 as they forgot to book my cab. So this time I would only give 2 stars to the experience I had. But I would prefer to give 4 stars for maintaining the quality of the hotel.

Excellent hotel. Good amenities, courteous staff and great choice of restaurants. The buffet selection for guests is quite good. The breakfast has a wide selection though it doesn't change much day to day. Dinner however is great with lots of choices which aren't monotonous. The other restaurants are also great locations. Rooms are comfortable and with good selection of facilities though initially figuring out the lights and ac controls can be confusing. Hotel pool is appropriately private which means one can swim comfortably. Gym facilities here are also quite good.

Nice ambience, designed like high street in London. Buffet food quality is ok. Good spread of dishes, and quite number of Vegetarian dishes also. Has a salad bar.

Lack of variety in the buffet menu didn't stop me from trying this place out and yet the place failed me when I was expecting better food for the demanded price. Ambience is pretty decent and the place had great choice of desserts which was very appealing. Apart from the amazing desserts, rest of the food was only mediocre and the restaurant is really bad with service. I really don't wish to complain anything here but the place is only of mediocre food with decent ambience overall.

Simple and decent place to stay. I was suffering from fever when I stayed here and the room temperature was uncontrollable even after turning off ac. So felt very uncomfortable.

A nice hotel. The front desk guys are really inexperienced. The bed in the club room was torn and had holes in them. फिर my early morning check out, the front desk guys were fumbling everywhere.

Amazing gym, whomever says otherwise has no idea what they are talking about. For a hotel gym, you won't find a better place. However the hotel rooms are a little dated and slightly smell like cigarettes. Great view though!

I had gone to the residency towers for the breakfast buffet. Had heard a lot about it so we (me and my family) decided to go and check it out. The overall ambience of the place is very impressive. The restaurant was themed like a London street square. However, both the menu and the taste of the food were very average. Being as it is, in Chennai, one would assume that at the very least the South Indian food would be well done, you know, something that one would like to recommend. But even that failed to impress a south Indian like me. The staff were courteous enough but, the one thing which counted fell below expectations and definitely below hype!

It's a beautiful hotel. The room is spacious, with lot of amenities. The gym is okay. The swimming pool is in a amazing location. I got a decent price for this. Only negative — the rooms are not sound proof. The DJ was loud enough to be heard in the closed room even past 11.

What a hotel! I just love this Hotel for it's elegant beauty and the way it's constructed. The food here is super excellent, the staff here are very kind and nice. Even the rooms are par excellent. Throughout the stay you will be in love with the lobby, because the lobby of the Hotel itself seems to be like a Tourist attraction. I wish I can give 10 stars out of 5 stars.

The hotel has a great location, not too far from the airport and not too far from the city center either. Residency Towers is very maintained as well. The food is amazing and caters to all cuisines. Apart from that, the staff is courteous and helpful.

I stayed here twice over the month of May 2016. The suite room that we had needs a refurb, but the second room, just a "regular" room in the older section was quite nice. It does seem that there are some slight housekeeping issues. The bathrooms need a deeper cleaning than they get, as a bit of grime was building up in the shower in the older section. Also, there ae are no electrical outlets near the bed. We had to have them bring in extension cords and outlets. They also tend to "shortsheet" the beds, at least the bottom sheet… It IS India, and the locals have a culture of mild complaining until they get whatever it is that they want, but the staff there is quite good!

A beautiful hotel, classic design, decent rooms, but bathrooms look now little dated, restaurent is decent, food is really good and breakfast spread is quiet large, wholesome and tasty, but hotel lacks that hospitality touch that makes hotel really great, staff needs to be more courteous thats what I feel.

The staff were rude, the reservation was for 2 adults and 1 child. The hotel staff said they cannot accommodate the child and asked my folks to pay for an adult. When presented with the reservation confirmation, he had to check with his manager and then accommodate. This was done after arguing for about 30 min. After a long journey to Chennai the last thing that you want is to deal with such unprofessional staff. We will never stay at this hotel again. The next day during the breakfast although it was complementary, a bill for 1 person was given and again there was an argument that they cannot accommodate the breakfast for the child. This was absolutely ridiculous. Please be aware of their tactics to make extra money. I hope this review makes the hotel mend their ways and be ethical and professional about honoring the reservation.

Clean, decent, not expensive Internet. On the roof of the restaurant where you can eat good, costs Makdaka in Moscow and see the gorgeous view of the city.

We threw a pre-wediding party on Nov 27, 2015 for our daughter, Divya Santhanam. Hall was great and the food was super. Managers and the staff were very courteous and cooperative. One of us stayed and the room was very good. I would strongly recommend this place for stay as well as for parties. Regards Capt. Krish Santhanam, USA.

Worst food at Main Street. There were flies on the sweets. Even after complaining, they tried catching with hands n failed so they left the as t was. No hospitality. More varieties but were not good combos to go with. Most of the food was not hot. Please don't visit n waste ur money.

It is spencer plaza of hotels.! with hilton, ramada etc, I dont think its worth to come here anymore.

Vegas-type hotel (without the gambling). Quite OK, luxurious actually according to local standards. Location OK. Too many, friendly but sometimes but clumsy staff (try redeeming the rooftop complimentary cocktail? ). Breakfast fine but staff get nervous if one takes out a coffee into the hall (? ). Overall, good hotel but price-quality ratio not impressive.
