Short visit to this hotel during my business trip. Two night stay… it was pleasant. Staff are very friendly and good in service. From checking till checkout. They cared me well. Room stay was nice. Breakfast had in restaurant. Was simply superb. More varieties and more choice t in that. I haven't try one more open restaurant. Next visit I shudder try. Car parking are taken care by valet drivers.

Loved the food and in room dining. This property surprised me with the spacious rooms Deluxe category and above. Well mannered services and very cost effective. I stayed at many five star properties in Chennai but this place has reserved it's respect through the seer experience they provide. Not a luxury stay but very comfortable. They meet the price tag in every respect.

The hotel, in short, is in the central location of Chennai City. The city's 2nd most popular and busiest railway station is just a few metres away, therefore accessibility is great. The waiting lounge is spacious for a number of customers to be seated. The rooms are well cleaned, equipped and room service is commendable. I would recommend it to people who need a decent hotel in the city centre.

The hotel is good, but there is no good shops or restaurants near to this hotel. The boardwalk is good and the best area of this hotel. The service is great though. Food is little expensive as per 3 star hotel, but no option of going out of hotel and eat good. Room is spacious. The only fault in the room is the washroom kept on stinking for entire week. They said the exhaust is working but didn't feel it.

Second visit to Ramada Chennai Egmore … had a good experience. Quiet spacious room with suitable amenities. Breakfast buffet is with more choice and tasty. First time had a dinner in Boardwalk restaurant. Beautiful ambiance. Staff are polite and friendly.

Been to symphony with some of our friends, excellent spread they have lots of choices in both veg and non veg food presentation was good, you can experience one of the best biriyani in town. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Rates are very reasonable and value for money.

This hotel is worth for the money we pay. The room is so spacious and very clean. The food is very good and the interior neatly decorated. The pool side restaurant and bar is also good and nice view from our rooms.

Well located on a main thoroughfare — and location marker is correct. The staff make all the difference — right from the valet experience to the concierge and check-in. The rooms could do with a bit of upkeep — the faucet and plumbing have stains which are easily removed — the towels are in need of a refresh. The food at the all day dining is good and staff lets one be to enjoy a meal.

The hotel is the best hotel in Chennai. Every staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Very good well maintained pool. The most important is the food in the hotel. Wow. Overall I had a great experience staying in such a nice hotel like Ramada Chennai and would suggest others to experience it.

Everything about this place is a wow! The roof top experience is on a whole new level and the chef is courteous enough to get your personal opinion on the foods. The ambiance and lighting are so darn good. This place has valet parking. The menu is extensive too. The quality of food was so great.

Rooms are big & clean. The staff are polite & make us happy. The food is also the food very good with reasonable variety. Overall a great place to stay. I would like to thank these two youngster which they welcome us very nice they are very polite. Their names are: JULIE AND NISHANTH.

Conference is reasonably good and accommodate around 120 people on theatre seating. First floor banquet hall is relatively large for 150 people, but has limited height of only 8feet. Attitude of reception is not friendly and not inclined to offer help and do not expect any reply for email based queries. Quality and variety of food is reasonably good. Rooms are large and well maintained. Overall an average hotel.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Chennai! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, our names were mentioned on the board and we were upgraded to the Paradise Suite. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this! ) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience.

Good hotel but definitely not at a 4 star level. The room we stayed in definitely needed an upgrade in the washroom and the AC was not working. For the price we payed I feel it could have been a little better. The lobby and other parts of the hotel was great! Staff were friendly and helpful.

This is actually the Marina Towers Egmore, now owned by Ramada. Room cleanliness needs to improve, especially the pillow covers, rugs and the bathroom towels. Service is good but at the same time very sedate and confused. Rooms are cozy. Non Smoking floors do get a strong hint of cigar smell, but once complained, twas taken care of. We had an upgrade of rooms straight from the reception for making a reservation directly. That was good to know. Would partially recommend this coz they need to improve a lot from the soils of Marina Towers. The food items are totally Indian and you might not find an intercontinental there. Good choices of desserts though…

Quiet, value for money star hotel. Food os very nice. Rooms are awesome but due to gap in the door, you can hear all sounds on the corridor.

Had been to Board Walk restaurant inside Ramada Chennai. The ambience of the the restaurant is top class. Food is tasty and the prices are very nominal. The beverages menu also includes lots of variety. Overall, a cool place to hangout with family.

Food is good. The ambiance of the Bar is nice. Varieties in Food. So noisy if some guests start dancing and the DJ put you in high volumes that would tear your ears. Otherwise nice.

Good location. The room was spacious and clean. Large, warm grohe shower; Furnishings according to Western taste; A rich, hygienically flawless 4-star breakfast with South Indian, continental and American elements, also fresh fruit, yogurt etc. ; Good value for money! Here you can get over his Jetlac and be fresh for new deeds.

One of good place to stay in Chennai price is reasonable and the main thing is it's located in Egmore. People who want to catch trains or have to leave Chennai early this place is fine. Food is ok and better. Good room service and rooms are well cleaned and can get stuffs to room if we make a call to reception or the specific extension. Worth a place to stay.

A Great looking and well maintained hotel with polite and well groomed staff. Lobby was quite comfortable and ample seating area for brief meetings. Nice and clean restrooms in the lobby. Easy to get in and get out from the road.

Lacking an international cuisine, spending more than a week could become a nightmare.

It's a beautiful place to stay. They are having a very clean rooms which are designed in professional way. They offer Wi-Fi, massage services and this hotel having a indoor swimming pool. It's a perfect place to organize a meeting or party. This place suits for all. Enjoy. Happy Holidays.

The staff at reception were too arrogant and lazy. I have booked the space online by seeing the king size bed. After my details entry process they said they were going to offer me individual beds. I requested them and also said I will be paying extra amount if required. But they said it is not possible. I went to the manager and requested. He alloted me the room on spot. The food prices were too high when compared to same class of hotels in Chennai.

Pretty decent ambience. Staff aren't very helpful. Tidy and clean. Food taste is above par. Needs more proper and effective management. Location is the major positive factor as it's at the centre of chennai.

One of the luxury class hotel in town. Easy access from Egmore and central railway station, Just 10 min drive. Parking: — ample space Ambiance : — nothing to complain about it, as it was designed such a way. Restaurants : — one in roof top, much happening place for any sort of event or a couple treat. Pricing : — reasonable. Overall good visit.

Very surprised at the condition of the rooms. The AC had major issues! Had to be serviced everyday! The bed linen they actually spayed some freshener on it and it was unbearable. It definitely was not fresh though it looked white. Had to get it changed. Bathrooms looked a bit dated. Worst was there car got some irreparable coating on the windshield when it was valet for parking. Extremely disappointing. What was good was the service, the staff, the food and of course the location which is well connected.

This hotel was value for money. The rooms were spacious. The view is not great though from the hotel. The staff were pretty ok. I could not have their breakfast as I had to catch a train very early in the morning. Overall a decent hotel and got it at a good price too.

My friend had arranged a dinner for 25 at boardwalk. Definitely loved the place and the food. The pool side restaurant is actually quite calm despite being situated on the first floor and the hotel itself is at the heart of the city. Definitely, one of the best places for dinner in Chennai. Fantastic atmosphere. Great food. Lovely night.

Amazing rooms with a micro bear and wine parlor. Carefully maintained room interiors. Excellent house keeping. Calm and quiet restaurant. Perfectly arranged lounge. Check out time is 12 Noon.

We can easily say value for money! Very good and large property in the heart of city. Location is good, close to the city centrel. Food is excellent.

Hotel rooms, food, bars & spa, all were good. No complaints. If you're taking old style cab or auto tell the driver the old hotel name "marina towers". Not many people know by Ramada.

I love this place good service n good atmosphere.

Avoid, especially lone female travellers. The first room we were given was next door to a rowdy group of guys, drinking with the door open & making loud calls in the corridor. We complained & got moved to a quieter room with iron marks over the seat & general shabbiness. Wi-Fi didn't work & took 3 phone calls to reception & then me heading down there for them to realise they'd given me a non working password. Having spent a week in alcohol free Kerala, my husband & I were looking forward to a cocktail with dinner… until we checked out their bar Waves. Neon lighting, pumping dance music (at 7pm) & a whole room of men doing shots made us think the boardwalk restaurant might be better. It's pretty but half outside so the, again, pumping dance music competes with constant beeps from tuk tuks. Then decided to get room service — 3 phone calls & one in person trip (another 30 mins! ) to order from someone whose English wasn't great. Eventually called to let us know that, despite 2 restaurants & one bar, neither gin or rum (our drinks choices) were available & the other 4 liquors on the menu were also out. Electricity more unreliable than you expect at a Ramada. Generally frustrating experience, wouldn't stay here again.

Has a out door big screen. Most of the sport matches are relayed. Very close to Egmore railway station. Walk-able.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff is friendly and polite. They make your stay comfortable and you will not feel like leaving this hotel. The food is good. If I am chennai, this will be my place to stay.

It is a fairly clean and neat hotel, though not in the luxury class. The lobby was quite nice. The rooms are large and comfortable though very dimly lit. The bathroom, though spacious, looks like it could do with some renovation. They have two restaurants, the one at the ground floor offering buffet meals and breakfast. Breakfast was about average. The first floor restaurant has a-la-carte meals and the food is good there. The staff is polite but in need of some more training on how to run a hotel. Their Wi-Fi coverage is excellent throughout the hotel.

Hopeless hotel — check-in time is 2:00 pm and check out is 12:00 pm — what a business hotel — shame.
