Hotel is centrally located in the city. Overall good hotel. Only thing which didn't like is food and room service. They'll have to work on it. Otherwise friendly hotel and good staff.

This is a hotel situated very near to Secretariat, opposite to govt. Press. The ambience is nice. There are many halls, to suit your requirement. The staff are very courteous, food is very tasty and the price is moderate. I have not stayed there but my friends say that rooms are spacious and well furnished. On the whole, l will recommend this hotel for stay, food and to conduct variety of functions.

AC rooms are lil expensive comparatively. It's accessible to Secretariat and u have a restaurant near to this, which is a real good try. They serve really good food, especially for breakfast. You walk down from here, you will enter few streets which have nothing there. There's a church nearby and unfortunately no movie theaters in its proximity. The manager is a really cool guy and service people are already there. They don't hesitate to provide u any help u need, even if it's about getting your clothes ironed.

Good services. Cordial from reception to security staff! Good food! Relatively low tariff when compared to the comforts Stayed many a times. Budget at the same time good services. I have recommended to my friends and arranged stay here for them!

A very nice place. The staff were really friendly and decent. The rooms and the auditorium were great. The toilets were well maintained and clean The lift works.

Old Hotel maintenance are good. Food is good. Bar is also good. Fish Biryani very tasty. Location is close to MG Road also best location. Staff fry office and Housekeeping are ver Support. Restaurant staff not great. Poor service in restaurant. But food is moving food. Taste good. You will not get old food as food crowd is here. If you go late for buffets of the item will be finished.

Great place to stay at affordable price. Breakfast is delicious. And the evening Punjabi theme dhaba is also nice. I had a very good weekend there with my family… And the staffs are very cool and responsive. I highly recommend it.

Good for foodies, starters are not great and part of live counter. There is always delay in starter delivery, but the main course is satisfactory. Varieties in deserts are always better and this will fill your stomach. Overall good.

Attended a bachelor's party here. Decent buffet with different options. Staff behavior was also excellent. Mini conference rom over here can accommodate about 8 people at a time. Roof top experience was good.

A luxurious hotel with great facilities. The pool is clean and gym is amazing. The breakfast buffey was also great. The staff was polite and the room service was fast. The rooms were nice and clean with all the necessary items available. The washroom is superb with more items than necessary. Overall, a amazing hotel.

Can't speak for the whole hotel, but the rooftop, open-to-the-sky bar was a minor revelation. Fantastic views of Trivandrum's skyline. Breezy. Pleasant seating. Also must be among a tiny number of watering holes in the state where people, including families, come in just for a meal too. So rather civilized for that.

A decent hotel. Maintained very well and located near the main MG Road of the city. Shopping places are near by and access to Airport and Railway Station is very convenient from here. You get taxi / auto services here.

Great value at rs2300 per night, looks and feels far more expensive. Starting to age inside the rooms but generally clean and pleasant. Pool and fitness area were decent. Overall a recommendation for me.

Attended a birthday party there. Nice place with good ambience. Food is also good and had special dishes. Staffs are very cooperative. I enquired about the charges and was reasonable.

The rooftop restaurant here provides a great ambiance and is a great place to unwind after a long day. The food is usually excellent and the service is very good. The hotel is located right in the heart of the city, and is easy to get to, though parking can be an issue at times.

One of the best places to organise a meeting. They arrange everything on a phone call and at a reasonable rate. Food is good and safe. AC is just right. No worries.

Had an awesome dinner at 8th floor near pool. The place was neat. Restroom was clean. Some lights above the table and near pool are not working. That made the environment unevenly lit. The towel on the pool chair was wet when we reached. Looks like they have not replaced it after the earlier guest left. The place is good for arranging dinner parties. Better to select dates that have good weather.

The dinner buffet here was awesome. They serve 5-6 varieties of non veg dishes including mutton dish. Decent atmosphere. Around 666per head including tax. Buffet area is comparatively small compared to other hotels in the city serving buffet lunch and dinner.

The hotel is good with valet parking. Haven't had a chance to stay here. But I've attended a few functions at the conference hall. The place is spacious and the food served is good too.

Amending my previous review of Orion Restaurant. Orion Restaurant My first experience here was bad, but my last 2 experiences were fantastic. Both the buffet & A' La Carte were delicious and reasonably priced. A few dishes in the latter are under par, but overall food is good. Service is good with polite, smiling and helpful staff. Ambience is good. Executive rooms Rooms are spacious and well maintained with a good array of amenities. Bath tab is a big plus point. Mini office space for working Swimming pool & gym for activities. Service is good with helpful and courteous staff. I have stayed here 2x and would stay again, given the opportunity.

I booked it through goibibo. Best room provided. Staff are very pleasant. Since I had a budget. Didn't order food from restaurant. There's complimenary breakfast.

A good hotel to stay at Trivandrum. Excellent location, well maintained rooms, courteous and helpful staff, valet parking, rooftop swimming pool on 8th floor, excellent breakfast and a Bar, which is hard to find in Kerala nowadays. Overall it was a good experience and will definitely recommend this hotel for anyone.

This is a hotel which I have visited the most. Had been to every facility, for several times. I am quite confident to recommend this hotel to anyone. It is in the heart of the city. A well maintained place. Staff is well experienced and very helpful. Bar is a quiet place with good ambiance. Food is tasty and restaurants are good. Stayed August 2013, travelled with friends.

Deluxe room is spacious. They have a gym in the first floor and pool on the terrace. Breakfast is complimentary and is a Buffet. 2700 per day for deluxe room. It has a fridge, bathtub, iron board, table lamps, central ac, and thick blankets. I'll consider it as a three star hotel.

Came early to the hotel, denied early check in. I booked for four days in which one day I will do a early check out as my flight is booked. Explained eveything but not humble at all. Saw reviews before booking. Ppl had given good revoews but my experience is bad. Someone said friendly staff. They r very rude.

The rooms are just above average for its category. The service at their restaurant is below standards. Food is above average.

The PROS — The hotel lies right within the city and is very close to the railways station and bus depot hence has excellent connectivity. Clean and tidy rooms with running hot water and functional wooden furniture with a TV, safe and minibar. Helpful staff provided you can catch them through room service. You also get a decent complimentary breakfast to go along. Well stocked bathrooms. CONS — Room service takes multiple tries for someone to pick it up. The view is at best OK where you have two sides of the hotel overlooking old dirty buildings and one side to the main road. At Rs4000 a night in a city the size of trivandrum it is defenitely on the higher side where almost any hotel boasts of equally good connectivity.

The hotel it self is very nice. Breakfast is pretty good and so is dinner on the roof. Location is pretty good and is walking distance to the main road. I stayed here for several nights and the staff are all fairly nice and the entrance is really nice. The room is ok — some of us in our group had issues with the shower but besides that it was ok. I had a problem with their Wi-Fi passwords constantly changing and the other issue was that their staff really did not have any recommendations on what to do around. I asked them several times and they gave me a list of three things and even those three they knew very little about. They lack the full experience of taking care of the customer. Yes they do a good job at the hotel but that’s it — you need something or you want to do something — then forget it. Security is good as well here and overall great place to stay. I would plan ahead and it’s fairly close to a lot of restaurants and shopping areas.

Significant improvement needed in service at the regular buffet restaurant. Forks and spoons were replaced with delay after multiple requests. Plates ran out and was not replaced immediately. The ambience and food were good and so three stars awarded instead of two.

Attended DevFest '13 by GDG Thiruvananthapuram on Oct 26. Excellent service. Glad that GDG Thiruvananthapuram chosen this place for function.
