Awesome, tasty food. Good ambience. Courteous staff. Wanna go again!

Overall, the room was very comfortable. Location is good. Just a walking distance from Padmanaba Swamy temple. Staff was very helpful. A/c is very effective. Beds are comfortable. The ventilation is a bit low, especially in bathroom. Doesn't have dry bathroom. No hair dryer. If your room is at ground floor, sometimes, leeches are found inside the room.

Heritage retreat. Good place to stay for vegetarians. They have restaurant inside dedicated for hotel and you get vegetarian breakfast in Kerala /South Indian taste.

First and foremost it's very near to Padmanabasamy Temple by ten minutes walk. The accomodation and is very decent with all basic amenities provided. A complimentary breakfast is also provided with your hotel package. The best part is there is a museum inside the Villa everyone must visit it explains the brief history about Trivandrum on the whole. Just go for it without any second opinion.

One of the best room I ever stayed during my travels. Vakue for money and very good rooms. No irritating staffs and atmosphere. Excellent stay in a calm place in the middle of the city.

The room was not what I expected when comparing against the pics online. I got a matchbox in place of a room. It's an old palace so there are the perks of feeling like you have become part of an old travancore heritage. The breakfast is home cooked Indian food. Tastes good. But don't expect a buffet spread.

Very classy place with amazing kerala feel in Trivandrum. Breakfast is with proper home cooked. Overall decent experience for 3 days.

Avoid. When I offered my honest about about their cramped single room which was no bigger than a walk in closet, the hotel management replied by saying that you should have reviewed the room size before booking. They said that they were deeply hurt by my feedback. AFAIK hospitality is about taking care of your guest… and atithi Devo bhavah (guest is god)

Nice place to stay in the busy city. Very close to the temple. Friendly staff and they are very helpful. The single rooms are cramped… almost the size of a walk in closet and back up to a noisy Street. They don't have windows in the single rooms.

Nice room, Size freight. Part of 16th, 17th century building. Preserved nicely. Nice breakfast. Quiet, code to temple, walking. 2 minutes. Near to railway station.

This property used to be the maharaja of Travancore's one. Although there are only 8 rooms, they offer wonderful service.

Nice Place to stay. Though located within the city, the place is very quiet and calm. Rooms are well furnished with all modern amenities. Limited rooms make it less crowded and a homely place. Rooms are maintained clean and neat. Located at a convenient distance to popular destinations in Tiruvananthapuram. Will definitely recommend this place to others.

Loved the ambience. Located in the palace compound which adds to the kerala heritage. Very close to the temple. Lovely home made breakfast. Would surely visit it the next time in town. Keep it up. :)

You have to visit this place for its serene beauty and closeness to history. You stay in the palace to realize the simplicity of the royalty and the culture as a whole.

The compound is very peaceful with good parking, the hotel is very artistically designed as well. Great art in the rooms but the only problem is that the rooms on the ground floor have no windows at all which is pretty claustrophobic. Staff is friendly but the noise outside can easily get into the room as there are loose blinds on the door. Ask for the rooms on the first level which looked very good with a nice outdoor area to chill.

Well… This is a place to be visited if u want to know how Kings in kerala used to live… Blessed to b able to visit these historic palaces…

Makes me realise that All that glitters is not gold. I was very impressed with the reviews and the facade and the rooms when I checked in but the buck stops there. Haven't got to sleep since my room is right next to busy road and the walls are made of plywood and you get to hear honking cars and autos right next to you. There's been no electricity for over 2 hours, even now I write this review sitting in darkness, with no ac, 10% battery in my phone and less than that left in me, sweating and suffocating. The hotel says that some electricity line has gotten damage and something similar has happened to their power back up too. What timing! I need a refund for this suffocating stay.

I cannot understand as to why would anyone want to stay anywhere else in this locality. If you can afford it and manage to get a room then do yourself a favour and stay in an old palace adjoining the Shri Padmanabha swamy temple. The single rooms are windowless but have sun light. The double rooms are superb quality. Perfect play to visit the temples and if you have to visit the UAE embassy too.

Not so luxurious. But the ambience is fresh and Awesome. A calm place inside city. Near to Padmanabha Swamy temple. Neat. Good hospitality.

Heritage homes. Serene and peaceful. Loved Raja Ravi Verma paintings in all the rooms. Beautiful stay!
