This must have been one of the best homestays I've ever been! While we've arrived late, the hosts Bastian and Gini we're very accommodating and helpful. Asked if we had food yet and as we hadn't, we've got some small plates served. The room was very clean, spacious and everything was functional. The shower was indeed one of the best in weeks. We requested a clean up two days in and we were pleased with the result. They're able to provide you with information about the area, as well as activities to do and tours to take. We've ended up doing most of their advice and had a great time doing so. Also, laundry service is available and they can help you with any tickets too (train, bus). In the evenings we were able to watch the soccer games daily and we could chill our own beers in the fridge. I'm not sure if there's anything which can be improved, as all was perfectly fine and so welcoming. Thanks for the extra effort, very much appreciated!

Lovely place to stay, very welcoming host's. Breakfast was huge and well needed. Offered a lot of day trips, unfortunately did not have time. Room was in very good condition and very clean. Would stay again.

Home owner is such a nice person. They provide food also. Cheap and best. My stay was quite comfortable. Thanks to the owner of sabastian home stay. Wanna visit them again.

Very clean and renovated. There's the air conditioning and the fan. Good location The guests offer a breakfast with eggs, toast, fruit and tea at 100 Rs. It's worth it!

Warm Family, Clean rooms with comfy beds. Stayed 3 nights there. They helped me to get around and the breakfast is cheap and good! (Eggs, toast, fruits…) I recommend this place.

This is a Wonderful place, excellent location, clean rooms, tasty breakfast, outstading and friendly hosts, can book tours, taxi service, massage, do the laudry. A perfect home stay.

Really nice owner. Paid 800 rupees for non A. C. Bathroom was clean and usable. I did not personally shower there but my wife did. Very simple arrangements. Great value for those seeking a place to crash. Good Wi-Fi. Did not have American wall outlets. Would recommend to a friend. Walking distance to fort Kochi and KSRTC bus stand. Safe area and neighborhood.

The positives — The AC rooms with attached bath are very neat and tidy, linen is washed, fresh and clean. Has a small dressing table. Has ample plug points and adequate lighting with AC functioning for adequate cooling. Breakfast is available in the homestay at a cost. Breakfast is excellent homemade food. Hosts Gini and George are very helpful and accommodating. The negatives — location is in a narrow lane which does not allow a four wheeler entry, so luggage has to be carried for about a hundred metres from the main road. The rooms are small in size about 10/11 ft, so it can comfortably accommodate a double bed leaving little space.

Loved their Service. The Rooms were good. The vibe is awesome and it's just a walkable distance from the Beach.

Bastian and his Wife are wonderful hosts, our room is big and airy very clean and best of all the beds are so comfortable, we enjoy a nice breakfast each day and we can have tea or coffee whenever we want, highly recommend, Bastian Homestay.

I am Srinivasan K from Chennai stayed with my family at Bastian Home Stay located Jacob Road. We never felt that we are staying in Home Stay actually it is our closed relative home. Such a wonderful owner. In future we have planned only to stay at Bastion. As were a pure vegetarian they have also guided to take food and Krishna Cafe — Palace Road which is nearly 1.5 Kms from stay of place. They are arranging back waters boating according to our financial aspects and liking. For this the are arranging to pick up from our gate and back to our gate. We four of us stayed in two double bed AC Rooms for three days from 25th to 27th July, 2017. Hotel Krishna Cafe is a best Vegetarian Hotel, very good food quality and excellent service. Very economical but never compromise the quality and freshness, Good quality and freshness in the food.

Stayed here for two days in January 2017. Very clean rooms, comfortable bed. Bastian and his wife are excellent hosts. The breakfast was delicious. Its very close to most of the tourist spots.

Specially go for a Breakfast they made a nice breakfast when I stay at this place. Rooms are good, they have open terrace and good place to chit chat. Hygienic place with neat and clean toilets.

Ultra clean rooms, minimalistic but contains everything you need, at a very good price. A very friendly lady boss who makes you feel at home. Even helped arrange a bathroom for us to shower before our late flight, even though we've already checked out. Within good walking distances to the basilica and good cafes in the fort.

Bastian and his wife Ginny made you feel at home. Attentive to existence, dealing with everything. The rooms are spotless. If you can book any taxi or Kathakali dances. If necessary, you can also eat at their facility. Are very kind and Nice. Highly recommended. Home away from home.
