Great deal. Good atmosphere.

It is an outdated hotel. They really need to upgrade the hotel.
After seeing the room, we were really shocked and the staff upgraded the room. The upgraded room were also outdated and not at all neat & clean. The staff tried their level best to make it clean. But the amenities were totally outdated and we felt the rooms were of those of the movies in 1980's.
The management is trying to upgrade the hotel by installing some sheets for the outside view which is totally the worst selection in terms of colour and design.
The staff were good with attitude and they have done their maximum.
It is truely waste of money and time.

For drivers less facility, dirty narrow common toilet, no food, drivers sleeping inside vehicle, for heavy buses more risk in this hotel.

Nyc place to stay but I thnk reception staff need to greet ppl more nicely very rude staff. Morning breakfast staff was really very sweet … so I thnk reception staff should put sm effort as ramada ia 5 star hotel doesnt suit their image.

for 3 they gave only one bed n food price too cozy overall can stay Because of boathouse is there at back of the resort there is no tamil language in television only limited for tamil channels menu card can b changed with proper menus overall boring experience.

Awsome cozy atmosphere with really great ambience and customer friendly right away from the door… had a great dining experience and the quality of the food is upto the mark. Really enjoyed and must try their special of the Day. Will definitely recommend and will come back… courteous staff and excellent service.

Good place for accommodation. request you please don't take the boat ride they will charge you 2000 per person which includes food and snacks but trust me you will only have one Kerala fish curry and one chicken curry rest would be veg I don't think spending 2k for just a fish curry and chicken curry it's worth. if you are a vegetarian you will enjoy.

Ramada. One of the greatest customer services you will ever see! We went when there were floods in Kerala. And the receptionists and staff helped us find the right route. We left our bag by accident and they readily brought it to us! One of the greatest experiences I've had and would strongly recommend it. Rooms were great as well, bathrooms were hygienic and again… wonderful experience.

Good Place To Stay In Allepey. Food is decent for a small place. I'm a foodie so I won't call it scrumptious but it's a great joint for a good meal. Good rooms, spacious. Showers are great too. Knocking off one star for the below. Everything else is perfect. Slight musty smell in the corridors, but a place near backwaters might have that issue. Activity center for kids is sad. Old carrot board and old table tennis. Grubby.

One of the best hotel I have visited. Truly a 5 star experience. The room was really very good. Every element in the room and hotel premises is so well placed. Hotel ambience is very good, you feel refreshed and the amenities help you to spend your time. What we most loved here is the food. A single word and thats just AMAZING. Food quality was really very good. Main thing about this hotel is the hospitality they show which is very commendable. It was nice experience staying here.

Very good property and one of the best in Alleppey. Staff always have wonderful smiles on their faces and was very helpful and courteous too. Nice Pool and they arrange some activities in evening as well. Food was just great all during our stay.

Aging property. Place needs attention desperately. Corridors have a fishy smell. The carpets are garish. But some would fondly call this " retro". Bathroom fittings are old and broken. The shower cubicle does not shut firmly and there is always the fear that water will start flowing out as I begin to shower. I find the profile of guests in all Mahindra properties to be loud and inconsiderate of others around them. The only good resource that Ramada has is their staff.

I went via mahindra holidays, booked studio room but got couple small room. First day ac issue dam hot inside the room. Second day ac leaking water no one turned up. Three people, they gave 1 litre water, they say extra water is chargeable. Room is not cleaned, lot of dust inside. But out side hotel view is excellent.

Not the best with the facilities. Faced issue with the air conditioning in the room. Took for ever to get the room cooled. The menu has variety of food to choose from but the rate is pretty high. They had good and friendly staff. But the check in took long time than expected.

Excellent experience in Ramada… My children enjoyed alot in swimming pool nd gaming zone… Food quantity is amazing… very caring staff… londry service little bit poor… Overall amazing stay.

I had a good time here. A lovely hotel with retro decor. The restaurant next to the lobby was excellent with a variety of seafood dishes and authentic Kerala cuisine. The hotel also houses a spa, a games room, banquet halls, swimming pools and a gift shop. The travel desk arranged for us to visit the nearby sightseeing spots. All the employees were courteous and helpful at all times.

Thank you Ramada for a very pleasurable experience. It was one of the best stays so far in any Mahindra Properties. Chef Jackson, thank you so much for going out of way and getting me Besan Ladoos (they were impossible to get without your help). It is a very hospitable property. Keep up the good work!

Fairly good hotel. Helpful staff. Decent food. Some rooms have good views of the water body. Near the finishing point of the boat race. Very close to house boat boarding point. Note: it is not a resort style property (and the hotel does not market it as one)

The food today in breakfast was excellent. The chef (mr Sumesh) made traditional banana Dumpling! Very tasty and class stuff.
The hotel needs immediate attention on fixtures and fitting in rooms. The staff in all department related to customer care is well responsive.

Fantastic contemporary and tech oriented rooms. The 1 bedroom unit has a large bathroom and tub. Rooms have very good view. Good food spread at buffet. Very accommodating staff. Pool and play courts are enjoyable. There a are speeding boats available on hire. It is locayed close to the jetty hence a boat ride is just walking distance.

Excellent hotel except check out procedure. I had to wait half hour for my luggage. Interior is awesome. Buffet breakfast was tasty with good variety. Very near to boat points. In our room ac cooling unit sound was too much. This is the major drwaback at third floor.

The view from the lake facing room is mesmerising. It ll just take out all your tiredness… The rooms are comfortable and staff is courteous. The pool is pretty clean. Thanks to the Nepali chap there. Working great. The food is awesome though at times due to less occupancy they don't serve buffet. Boat rides options including lunch on boat or evening tea cruise are simply superb. Overall a great experience. Must stay when you visit Allepey.

Everything is exceptional about this place. Also highly accomodating for walk in dining guests. Special care for infants and kids. Priced a bit above reasonable, but still the staff ensure you feel good about your choices.

Price-performance is not right at all. The rooms are outdated: there are edges and colors everywhere. The shower and bedroom window was funny but leaky… I expect more for this price in India. Yes, the bed is comfortable and the location good — but all in all the money is not worth it. The pool was grading in refurbishment, so I can't rate it.

The hotel as a whole is good… They have got good amenities and all for a typical Ramada… But the food over here spoils the name… Its not at all worth the money spend there… The food in the main restaurant is not that great and that in the chinese restaurant doesn't even feel Chinese in taste… Hope they bring some improvement to that… else the experience is good…

It is located in proper alleppey. Ramada has got great backwater views. It is best for a party get together. Its got a bar with a nice view. Good place to spend time well. My reason for visit was a wedding reception held at Ramada. I liked the place as a whole.

Room had no clean towels. Bathroom at lobby was dirty. Only premium rooms are worth price. Standard rooms are small and definitely not 5 star. We had to call reception 5 times before assistance. Took 15 mins for hot water to come in the shower. Bathroom handles are broken. Nothing to hang your clothes in the bathroom.

Good food, good location, can take boat rides straight from the hotel dock. Room did not have any ventilation, AC was ineffective, always stays at 24/25 degrees. It stinks whenever you enter the room. Some of the advertised facilities does not exist or does not work.

We loved this place. We took my husband's family and my family and stayed there for three days… Both the families became one family after this amazing vacation…

Had a great time in Ramada Alleppey with family. Would love to visit again! Kids enjoyed the stay especially the swimming pool and sports. Hospitality was excellent with courteous and pleasing staff behaviour ; inspite of being a busy time with many guests every request was attended without much waiting time. Breakfast spread was good with a wide range of options. One thing probably hotel should have attended a little more was overall cleanliness. Otherwise it is a wonderful experience for family travellers in the Venice of the East!

This property is located in a very scenic background and some of the staff are very hospitable. The room and towel hygiene is very bad hope someone does not carry a infection home. The hygiene in rooms are also bad. The rooms are filled infested with mosquitoes and they only provide repellent device on request… I had to ask for 3 devices before catching up some sleep. My whole body is swollen with mosquito bites. I have stayed at Taj & Zuri nearby I would highly recommend these hotels for a comfortable and memorable stay. This hotel is not worth it's rating or price paid.

Came here after leaving a houseboat disaster! Ramada was an oasis of excellent standards and good service! The staff at the front desk and the staff at restaurant were attentive and friendly from the beginning to the end. Didn't get a chance to use any amenities but had a great time Anyways! Nice clean room with everything you need.

Location is great with access to houseboats but the hotel especially rooms are old and ill-maintained. Overall doesn't have the appeal of a Ramada property. Good food.

Good hotel. Royal Suites has to be maintained well. There are sanitary fittings which are not repaired and the Closet needs multiple flushing. Restaurant and food is excellent. Spa services are good and there is a spices shop inside the hotel with affordable rates which is similar to outside price.

While the staff attempt to help, other than front desk, most only speak local language. Only local food is worth eating. Room service failed everytime to deliver what was ordered. Rooms are definitely in need of renovation and are showing their age with peeling and worn surfaces. Facilities like pool etc are not private, being close to walk ways and the local public water front. Bars are dingy and dark without any redeeming pleasant sitting and relaxing environment.

The only big hotel in that place. You can notice it from anywhere while going in the boat. I've got a room on the 5th floor and had a great view of the lakes. Had a great time there. Food is a bit costly there. You have many local restaurants nearby.

Food is not too expensive and the quantities are good. Taxi service and all other allied services are exorbitant. Rooms are ok but a trifle gaudy. Staff is friendly and willing to help. This is also used by Club Mahindra as a partner hotel. Boating arranged by the travel desk was superb. Lovely people. Swimming area needs cleaning. We were lucky to get a room facing the lake.

I stayed here for 2 days. Food from this restaurant is very very bad. The behaviour of the restaurant staff was also very bad. People who want to get a good stay in aleppey pls don't stay here. Choose another hotel or choose food from another good restaurant.

The food here is really standardised you can expect the quality and taste standard maintained throughout the year without any drop. Good place for lunch and dinner.

I had a great stay. I had an amazing view from my room. The room had all the amenities you can expect. The buffet dinner was superb. The travel desk guy was helpful. The extras are rationally priced (laundry). The only thing was that it took a while for the hot water to flow through the shower, and it wasn't steaming hot (if that's someone's thing, I guess it's a minus).

Didn't stay here. But had a look at their rooms. Tastefully done. The hotel is newly opened. Hope they maintain the cleanliness and service. We had a Corporate meeting. The hall was nicely air conditioned, silent and easily accessible. The food spread was excellent. They offered special sea food spread. The staff was courteous.

Not as great as it is branded. Rooms were not cleaned properly. Only advantage was the view of nehru trophy boat race. From the balcony, I was able to watch the race from the starting point to finishing point.

Poor rating as the room was poorly maintained. There was a dead cockroach on the floor when we checked in and it stayed there for two days until I asked. The bathroom walls were rusty and looking disgusting at some areas. May be the room we got was bad. But still not something expected from a hotel of that standard. I still keep the photos. Really good ambience. Good food. Staff were good n receptive. I would have been given more rating if the room was good.

Ramada allepey is a place to stay with back water view. Luxurious and modern interior lovely food and best front office and back office staff.

People who stayed thre before 6 months may say bad about this hotel because it's just beginning, now its fantabulous.

Great location, easy access to houseboats, great view from the hotel, food is average though reasonable, clean swimming pool and good entertainment area, room service is slow, the access card to the room is not smooth, rooms interiors are not what you would expect from this brand.

Location and view from the window is very nice, we stayed in room number 112 lake view was too awesome. Needless to say, still bathroom was clean, breakfast was very good, person who attended us was very kind and with full of manners ovio :). If they are offering you free lake ride. Do not forget to ask timing which is again obvious… we missed that as when we were checking in that people were already boarded on boat…

Right from the moment of checkin, I just loved the place. Though a bit expensive but worth it. Hospitality was good and so was the good. This hotel is at best location and rooms give beautiful view. Rooms were clean a bit small. Staff was good. Hotel restaurant is good. Besides that other activities offered were also good. Only negative point was that swimming pool was not functional.

We stayed in the hotel for a day, it was a nice experience, especially the service by the staff, they being so polite to us, the hotel is located near to the punnamada lake, so the sunrise view was awesome with the lake view. Breakfast was superb with so many dishes.

It is with a deep sense of dissatisfaction that I am writing this mail after I visited ramada alleppey with my family yesterday. First we visited the health club and spa. The moment we said we have come to avail the privileges of the BPC card the caretaker / captain / manager male of the area went into a defensive overdrive mode suddenly and told us gruffly that we can only redeem one coupon at the spa per thousand rupees worth of service. This came as a surprise to us for 2 reasons. First, last year we could avail the coupons for any service clubbed together. Second, this particular fine print clause was not informed at the time of sale of the coupons/ BPC card. my wife went to have some treatment at the spa and I went on to the gym accompanied by my 2 children. About 10 minutes into the gym the same manager male barged in and shouted at us from the far end of the room (we were at the other end) saying that kids are not allowed in the gym, sandals are not allowed and that I should ask my kids not to shout as it was causing inconvenience to the spa treatment on the other side (funny thing is my kids were not shouting and he was the one shouting there though) and that hotel will not be responsible if anything untoward happens to the kids. I told him I can have the kids out of the gym if he says to which he replied that it was not necessary. The whole episode happened in front of a guest who was also in the gym.

Hopless hotel! Very very disappointed with the stay! Very bad toilets it floods! Not worth the money! The food is highly over rated! One of the worst hotel experiences!

On behalf of my brother… Bad experience, very mediocre service. Considering the star rating they claim, the hotel don't have enough facilities; just a room, pool and restaurant which was n't exciting to the so called "premium" service they flaunt off. They didn't even have a bathrobe to provide, shame on them. Very sad and disappointing. Being a Club Mahindra member I felt ashamed and guilty of having gifted a two nights stay for my brother & wife at this hotel and would not recommend this for a stay if you are wishing to be in a relaxed vacation mood. This is just a shelter to stay overnight.

Not too bad. Frequent power cuts make the rooms too hot. The hotel staff could do with some additional training on hospitality but overall pleasant place to stay. Backwater ride was very relaxing.

Stayed here in January 2016. Few negatives that bothered the expansive pricing was construction actively going on in and around the resort with workers always around. Power cuts and generator switches at least 5 times an hour! Small bathrooms without proper ventilation. Only plus is the location and staff, need to go a long way to honestly agree as a five star.

3rd rate resort. It's not even a resort. Maybe rooms r k, but the surrounding sux. Not up 2 our expectations. Water around is filthy. The images u see r only graphics. Do not get faked. Waste of money. Aveda is a nice resort abt 40 kms away. It is not a place to holiday.

Building is ugly as sin. But the bar from the top as an epic view. A guilty pleasure if your need a g&t.

An absolute crap place. Not worth the money you are spending. Definitely not 5 star standards. I have put the clean my room sign from 7.30 a. M today and we got back at 6p. M the room hasn't been cleaned. I would rate it as and extremely poor stay experience in all of my travels.

Don't expect to sleep here — with all sorts of construction noise throughout the night (in spite of complaining to the front desk), venice restaurant and their pools are under renovation, the TV remote doesn't work well, wooden floors creak a lot. On the plus side, food's alright, the rooms are well appointed and you get a good view during the day. You decide.

Really my worst journey in my life. Room is not comfortable. Foods are very expensive. Restroom is not clean. A/c cooling very low condition, Bed and pillow softness very worst. Tv remote also bot working. Very worst.

Syated in Oct 2015 Clumsy rooms. Stinks. No exhaust fan in bathroom. No shower curtain. Swimming pool was under renovation. Wanted to play badminton at 7 pm. No adequate lights. Not to the right standards of ramada.

Good hotel but tooo expensive.

If this is a 5 star then all real 5 star hotels are to be considered 9 star. Using the expensive materials doesn't mean it is 5 star. The air-conditioning system is so noisy, the restrooms smell (we changed 3 rooms and all rooms had the same problem), the bed is okay but pillows give you neckpain.

Nic hotel and health club.
