Have spent a quality time from the moment step into boat to step out. Crew members are very friendly and kind. Pournami houseboat is my preference list.

Excellent travel and worth the money. They served pretty gud food with varieties in the lunch breakfast and dinner too. One day stay with pournami travels for worth rejoicing the moments in the water lake of kerala. They have strict policy with timings and the rooms were very neet and tidy… Overall a very time to spend with your family away from the work. Definitely for the second time will go with pournami travels. Its better to book in advance as houseboats is subject to availability on the date you wish to travel.

It is interesting and it is the glory of God's Own Country.

We booked a 3 bhk boat here, service was awesome, good food and cooperative staff.

We were 3 families (Total 12 (5 kids) ) on kerala trip. After going through the reviews on trip advisor we settled on Pournami houseboat for our Alleppey house boat stay for 21/05/2017. Booking process was smooth with Ms. Parvathy Prakash (Pournami Booking coordinator) and the amount was fixed with all levies and taxes. We made advance payment of @25% and agreed to pay the remaining amount at houseboat. Till advance payment we were under the impression that Pournami accepts 3 modes of payment a) All cards b) Paypal invoice c) NEFT/Cash deposit which was mentioned in their booking terms. However after the advance payment during the confirmation mail all the modes of payment were removed and only Cash payment was mentioned which we did not notice. We reached Alleppey @13:30 as against 11:30 checkin time and we hurried to the houseboat and requested them to start our trip since we had already lost time. They told me they will not start the houseboat until we make full payment. I immediately transferred the total amount online through my mobile and showed them the confirmation to their coordinator (Mr. Hari) present there. Still they were not ready to start our trip. After due deliberations with office staff who was very rude on phone and was shameless asking us to pay rs. 1600/ — in addition to the amount already paid as tax since I had made payment online. I understood that I had to make payment in cash and not online transfer. I did not agree to this.

We had a very good time. Food was very tasty and the staff were very informative and friendly. Highly recommended.

The trip on houseboat was really wonderful. My family (4 adults and a 3 year old kid) enjoyed a lot. The food was very good and much better than what they ate at other places while in Kerala. The houseboat staff was courteous and their service was prompt and nice. So overall, thanks to Pournami Houseboat owners and staff for making the trip a memorable one. I recommend this to all who are contemplating a trip.

“Not been to Heaven yet… This Boat Ride was Absolutely Heavenly. ” We were 5 guests. The Boat House was New, Very clean, Great Team, Fantastic Chef. We bought freshly caught Shrimp, the Chef cooked to our exact taste, no words to express except it was ummm ummm Yummy. Every one must do this trip once to see how Heavenly Feels like. Pournami House Boats were great. Parvathi Prakash was exceptionally cooperative, very helpful & wonderful. I would recommend any one to go with Pournami Team.

This wasn't my first experience with Alleppey houseboats but still I was delighted by this particular experience and facilities offered by Pournami houseboats. We were a group of 12 from Chennai and started our cruise in a 4BHK house boat. The boat was well maintained with luxurious interiors and lightnings. We made the most out of the Giant screen and 5.1 speakers rightly placed in the hall. The service staffs were well behaved and the hospitality matched with star hotels. Overall I would say Pournami HB is not just one of those hundred houseboats u find in Alleppey but differentiates itself with luxurious facilities, excellent hospitality and yaa delicious food.!

Got opportunity to travel on Pournami's houseboat twice and both the times it was a wonderful experience. The facilities, the crew and the food, everything was awesome. I wasn't expecting much in a houseboat, had imagined bad bathrooms and unclean rooms. I was terribly wrong! I was impressed by how nice the boat was and how well maintained they kept everything! The interiors are really good. Wont forget the mouth watering food that they offered. Kappa-Meen curry, Kerala Meals with Chicken curry and Karimeen Fry, evening snacks, etc. I would recommend Pournami to anyone. I went with my friends and we had a lot of fun on the boat. Thanks for a great experience. We had a wonderful time aboard!

It was best experience for our students coming away from academics and giving charge to minds and bodies. This is really awesome experience for all of us enjoying nature through journey on the boats. Really all of us refreshed and it gave us new energy and lifetime enjoyment though we spent only one day and a night. After that enjoyment we are suggesting all of our friends to have that boating experience. From SSN Engineering College, Ongole, Andhrapradesh.
