I had about 12 hours to kill at the airport; the airport hotel would cost about $100 for that period. So I decided to give this place a try when I found it on Google Maps for $21. I called the contact number and someone quoted a price of INR 2000 (~$30). I took UBER and that cost around INR 500 ($8) It's a little out there in a generally poorly developed area. When I arrived, the guy at the desk asked me what I was quoted on the phone! I asked if they didn't have standard rates and he then mentioned INR 2450. Obviously, I mentioned what I was told before and he didn't argue the amount. Preferred to take cash over my credit card. Rooms were decent and clean but there was a used towel in the bathroom, which I got switched. The new towel was washed but had yellow food stains on it☹️ The bathroom was generally clean but had no hot water. Nope not the next morning either! Didn't bother to ask for hot water. TV works for those interested. Local Kannada cable feed. Furniture is old, some with broken handles kept on top of them! Could order food from their restaurant. Food was warm. They brought in a plate about 10 mins later. Next day, I had difficult getting UBER back to the airport. Two drivers cancelled and I'm sure the reason was the lower cost (INR 200). The door guy called his contact and got me a ride for INR 300. There is a sense of isolation from the airport. Check out was a quick signature. The staff had trouble communicating in English and I was able to manage with some rudimentary Kannada. Overall, I would suggest going here only if your transit time is around 10-12 hours, want to save a few extra $, if you're alone without family and willing to put up with the issues mentioned. If transit time is less, stay at the Airport Hotel or Lounge. Hope this helps!
