A good place in the Ring road with adequate parking space and Veg restaurant (Kamat) and another restaurant with bar and non-veg. Pricing is bit high compared to other lodging but I find it's services good. Approx for two people only lodging 1500/ — +/-tax. Ramp is not available but lift is available. Easily visible from main road.

I am telling about hotel ashoka. Its good place for dinner perpose. Compaired to others in my native. And its nearby to my home.

The staff brazenly cheated us on the bill. They charged our credit card for a 3rd night when we only stayed 2 nights. THEN, after we had just left, they texted us later saying we had to pay 700 MORE on Paytm for some fee or something! They went so far as to very rudely text us things like "please pay now. " We checked the bill, realized that they were robing us, and confronted them on the incorrect credit card charge. Surprise! Suddenly they stoped communicating with us. It's almost laughable, except they were trying to exploit our honesty to wring a little more money out of us… In general the service was terrible. We requested that the hotel book us a 5 AM taxi. Apparently they didn't. All the staff including security were asleep when we came down at 5 AM, and it took over an hour to get a car, almost causing us to miss the Hampi 10K run. As if this weren't enough, the room we stayed in was infested with bed bugs. We had many bites covering our arms and torso, all in perfect little lines, a telltale sign of a nasty insect infestation. Overall, we left feeling that the staff at Bedbug bites from a night at Hotel Ashoka had cynically attempted to cheat us of a significant portion of our limited travel budget. Please DO NOT stay here.

Good quality rooms in gangavati with affordable prices available to stay overnight with restaurant available at ground floor and also bar near by.

We arrived at the Ashoka Hotel around 1.30 in the morning. Everyone was sound asleep but security finally arrived and opened the gate. People were sleeping on the floor at the reception as well. Many of them were later seen as receptionists. A flawless hotel in the area. Good rooms. Waste management does not seem to be going well. Yet the staff all cooperated well. One thing to note is that there is a restaurant next to this hotel. The night is not working but the food is super. It is tasty. Tea is also good. The price is much lower than in Kerala. Lemon tea is not available here even though the lemon is in the fridge. However, a staff member added lemons to the hot water. There is also a bar right next to this hotel.
