OYO 13320 Ocean Delight

Budget friendly. I like service most. Biswa the servent is very polite and kind hearted. He served well. He is taking care and helping with every need. He cooked whatever we need very clean and hygiene. Location wise it is located near to the beach. 2.3 km from main temple and 1.4km from golden beach. Every time auto charges 150 to 200 from outsiders. Facilities geyser, ac, Wi-Fi, smart tv, sofa, free local water.

Very neat and clean room. Good service, it's 2 to 3 km away from both Puri jagannath mandir and Puri railway station. And walkable distance for Neeladri beach just 2 to 3 min walkable distance from the hotel. The only disappointment in the room is that the geyser size is very small. My suggestion for hotel management is to increase the size of the geyser or change to a storage water heater. It's better for the family. The staff are good. I stayed on the ground floor It was a good room. From here auto asks 100 to 150 ₹to reach puri jagannath mandir. But they do not reach the temple near 1km you have to walk. Better you ask before you get in or take a small auto or battery auto its reach very near to the temple.

Ocean Delight, Puri, felt like a home away from home. The room was neat and comfortable, the atmosphere was calm and cozy, and everything was well maintained. The service was good, and all the staff were very nice and always ready to help. Overall, a great stay.
A special thanks to Mr. Biswajit Mondal for his warm behaviour and outstanding hospitality—he took great care of us throughout our stay. The food he cooked for us with so much care and love was absolutely fantastic. We’ll definitely visit again.

The hotel itself is nice — rooms are clean location is not bad near to beach but far from (market /restaurant) and the overall stay was comfortable. The biggest highlight was the staff behavior, especially Mr. Biswajit Mondal who took very good care of us. Since we mentioned it was our honeymoon, he personally arranged a lovely room decoration with flowers, and a cake as a welcome paid surprise. That really touched us. They upgrade my room also.
However, there were two major issues that spoiled the experience:
1. We asked the hotel for local sightseeing options, so they arrange a travel agent. I didn’t book through him because I got a much better deal elsewhere. After checkout, that agent somehow got my personal number from the hotel and called me to abuse and shout at me saying “you wasted my time and caused me loss”. This is completely unacceptable. Sharing a guest’s personal number without consent is unprofessional and unsafe.
2 The honeymoon decoration that felt like a sweet gesture turned out to be paid They never informed us beforehand that it was chargeable. Felt like a hidden cost and left a bad taste.
Because of these two incidents, what could have been a wonderful stay turned sour. The property is good and staff (especially Mr. Mondal) are excellent, but the hidden charges and this privacy breach were big let-downs. Felt overpriced for the overall experience.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Ocean Delight, Puri. The location is perfect — just a short walk from Neeladri Beach, one of the quietest and most peaceful beaches in Puri. It’s away from the usual crowd, which makes it ideal if you’re looking for calm and relaxation. The Jagannath Temple is also quite close, around 2.2 km, and the railway station is just 1.5 km away — very convenient for travelers.
The staff here deserve special mention. Their behaviour and hospitality are genuinely warm and caring. Manager Partha Babu is an extremely humble and soft-spoken person who makes sure every guest feels at home. The kitchen is another highlight — they have an excellent cook, Bishu Da, who can prepare almost anything you want, and every dish has that comforting home-style taste.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained with 24-hour AC and geyser service. Whenever you need anything, the staff are just a call away — always helpful and polite.
Overall, Ocean Delight lives up to its name. It’s a peaceful, homely place with great food, kind people, and a location that makes it easy to enjoy the best of Puri. Highly recommended for anyone who prefers comfort with a personal touch specially homely food.
