Place worth experiencing on your own. Right in nature's lap.

Great location, environment, rooms, food, service, all extraordinary! Not sure but probably the best in Corbett, immersed in nature and great for kids. Loved the evening documentaries and slide shows, kids loved it as well. We truly had an amazing time, highly recommended.

A very nice resort. Well maintained. Courteous and helpful staff. Approach road bad. Lil expansive but worth it.

Approach road is pathetic. High tea doesn't have much variety except Britannia cake and apple roll. Rooms are quite good but very expensive.

Amazing property. The rooms were fantastic. The hotel is located in the jungle. You could spot animals like dear and monkeys regularly. The staff… Polite, humble and will try to provide each and every service you want. The food was the best food I ever had. They also provide you some activities. Do try them all. Specially cycling and river walk The river walk was long walk with Mr. Balam, he is the best in his job. He was an amazing man. Their other staff was also up to the mark. Their chef, kitchen staff, people on reception specially deepak. They also have a naturalist who guides you in everything. One must try this place, away from crowd, quiet and calm. The best place where a person can enjoy forest.

Spent a few hours in the cafe for tea with cakes and cookies — a very nice experience!

Please ignore the negative comments, this place is superb! The accommodation is first rate and the staff are really helpful and friendly. It isn't a "5 star" hotel in the UK or American sense, but what do you expect the middle of the Indian jungle! It exactly what it should be, nice cottages, good coffee lounge and restaurant and a lovely pool. The organised Animal Safari's are first rate. Of course what you see is outside thier control, but the guides and drivers are really professional and helpful. It was the highlight of our time in India, and that includes seeing the Taj Mahal. P. S the one star comments refer to "bring run down" and "women feeling safe". These are two years old, but from our experience they are completely wrong.

Went looking for peace, and found it in this resort. Very calm and peaceful. Good hospitality. Had a food family time. Shall definately recommend the same. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Nice place for a weekend get together. Not in the middle of Jim Corbett. Rooms and services are good. Food is OK. Can't listen to music on speakers at night. No pool access after evening. Good place to stay at low budget.

The behaviour of the authority were very uncooperative! The staff were also very rude… booking was done 3 months back but still they were not knowing about our booking and they did not inform us about the safari bookings. The food was horrible! It was really a bad experience…

We were 4 couple with 2 children under the age of 2 staying at this run down property for the worst experience ever! Staff commented on my girl friends for eating too much saying " kitna air lau, kitna khate ho ". Food was pathetic and on complaining no one bothered to even come out to explain or apologise. On our day out staff refused to serve us the food saying "Khana Khatam ho Gaya " when everyone else at the restraunt was eating! They were rude to all The women and following us everywhere commenting. We had two toddlers with us who were famished but that dint stop them from being down low rude and pathetic. Even on arguing, being polite and repeatedly asking staff dint budge but instead pushed us around. We were charged 10, 000rs on top of the stay for maids eating at the staff quarter (food was inedible as our helpers told us nevertheless). They charged us for half day for checking out at 2 after the whole " we won't give you food charade " even after we had told them before hand! Our husbands had to fight for overcharging because they dint even think of explaining us why we were being over charged. The management was so pathetic that the GM refused to even come out to talk for a stay we paid 12, 500rs per day for! Horrid experience and a very very very sad thing after spending so much money. Women are not safe in Jims jungle retreat.

Women not safe at Jim's jungle retreat. Even when we were in a group of 4 couples, women felt unsafe due to staff's inappropriate comments all throughout the weekend trip. No manager came for our rescue, rather we got surrounded by 20 male staff of the hotel who started threatening us!

Value for money… Amazing experience.
