Had the worst experience at the Hotel, Atish Mathur and his team of morons like Debajyoti Sanyal and Sanjay made sure that they ruined our stay. Bad food quality and worst service… would never recommend it to anyone.

I visited this place along with my friends. The thing that immediately catches the attention is the amazing interior of the entire hotel. The restaurant Tadka has very modern and stylish ambiance with a very soothing background music.
We were welcomed in a very traditional Indian way with tilak and Aarti. It was a very nice little touch. The seating is quite comfortable. The staff is very attentive, helpful and friendly.
We began with Chowk ki Thandai and it was delectable. The blend of the thandai mixture was very flavourful and rich. For soup I tried the Tamatar aur Dhania Shorba. It had a quite intense flavour and was really appetising. Paneer Atish-e-noor and Veg Shami Kebab was also nice as starters. For mains I had the Diwani Handi, Dal Manbhawan Tadka, Paneer Taka Tin and Bamboo Biryani. Every dish was full of flavours and aromatics. They were of great taste. For dessert I tried the Malpua roll with Rabdi, it was perfect as it was mildly sweet.

A luxurious fine dining with beautiful ambience and amazing hospitality comes Ramada Plaza. If you looking for a lavish meal you can hit this place. They serve really amazing food. They have some unique dishes which is full of flavors and is a must try. I started my meal with Chowk ki thandai which was really good in taste, was a dense milk with saffron flavor churned along with almonds and pistachios. A must try here! Then I began with starters which includes — kaali mirch malai chicken Tikka, mutton chapli kebab, veg galouti kebab and paneer Tikka. Out of which I would recommend kaali mirch malai Tikka and veg galouti which was too yumm, it had crispy outer texture and melts too quickly in mouth. It's a must try dish. In main course I had some speciality dishes of the restaurant. Chicken mutka, paneer Taka tin, diwani handi, manbhawan dal tadka with different breads and the signature bamboo biryani which is available only in Ramada plaza which was unique and flavorful. Their chicken mutka and paneer Taka tin is my personal favorite and is highly recommended. In desserts I had amazing fusion of malpua and rabdi which was delicious and gave a real banarsi feel. Overall the restaurant is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Thier Restaurant called Tadka or some nonsense. But the Chinese team is excellent. Bar is questionable about their genuiness. Probably the Bar Man is intoxicated.

A great place to find rest after hectic visits in Varanasi. Clean, spacious rooms and excellent food at both restaurants. Don’t hesitate to send your clothes to the laundry, they will return in excellent time, fluffed, puffed and perfectly folded.
Neetu at the front desk is great at giving travel advice, solving issues and is always so nice.
I would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable place to stay. One star less for the higher staff's attitude (manager level at the reception and in the restaurant) they really need to work on their communication skills with the guests they are very rude at times. Lower level staff is very humble and sweet.

It's a good place to stay in. Very good staff. The hotel is old, but in a city like Varanasi it's still decent standards. The mall next door is a good source of entertainment. You can go eat out, watch movies late night. So a decent choice.

It's good to sleep, to clean yourself up. The room has a shower, toilet, 2 beds, air conditioning, TV, cupboard.

Attended a wedding ceremony here. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly and professional. I've stayed here a couple of years back and it was an amazing experience. Rooms were cozy. Pool is large and clean. This place is best for anyone who wants to throw a pool party in Varanasi.

The place is good for nothing. It's a high end brand whose name is gettiñg spoiled. When u come to Ramada, u own u will be looked aft3r well. But here

2. The potatoes were under cooked
3. The air was a god we were worshipping to give us more cooling. The hotel's excuse " it's take 30 mins to cool". Like which 3rd grade ac is that. After 2 hours of non cooling and the management's lack of interest in giving a proper explanation we were shifted to another room
30 mins to cool? Is that how slow Ramada is? Such a shit plaçe over charging us.

Decent hotel, centrally located, very hospitable staff. Reasonably good food but is a bit expensive. On my visit the intercom was not working and I was given contact number of duty manager. However, a couple of times the calls went unresponded. Overall, it's value for money.

We stayed for a day and night, I liked the place, staff was cooperative, services were very good, enjoyed the breakfast.

Its a nice hotel adjacent to the famous JHV mall. A 5 star property with all amenities. Restaurant food test is really good. It has multi cuisine restaurant. Overall comfortable stay here. One can enjoy the garden also.

This hotel is hilarious. What kind of a 5-star it is. Everyday same break fast. Very expensive and bad food. A lot mosquitoes in the washrooms of lobby. Swimming pool not clean. I didn't like it. Its not a 5-star. Don't waster your money on this hotel. But, if you don't care and want to save money than it's okay.

A five star rating pales in comparison to the quality of service, the amazing food and the overall royalty-like feeling we experienced during our stay. The pool is awesome too. I am a customer for life. A special hug to Nidhi who made a complete to-do list for Varanasi.

It's located near JHV mall. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking space is huge. Restaurant is excellent with good room service.

Hospitality was excellent. Breakfast was tasty and had a wide variety. The swimming pool and fitness are good but it's a bit of a walk to get to them. The rooms seem old. We were in a room on the 1st floor and our shower in the bath tub always leaked out onto the floor of the bathroom. No amount of covering with the curtain helped. Also, there's a lot of flushing noises coming through the walls, especially in the night. Overall stay was pleasant.

The restaurant staff uses hands to serve instead of tongs, especially for dessert items, which is very unhygienic. The restaurant staff needs more training as they do not encourage fresh plates for refills in a buffet. Customers walking to the buffet counter with in-use plates is a gross practice that doesn't befit a star-rated restaurant /hotel. Ideally the staff should clear the plates before every refill. The rest of the hotel certainly matches the standards expected of the brand. The stay was comfortable and the staff was great. The washrooms of double rooms have a bathtub too. The hotel is value-for money. The welcome drink was disappointing though. But the room and the stay was great.

The rooms are very spacious and nice. Almost all the facilities have been provided in the room including iron, iron table, hair dryer, mini fridge. The only thing I didn't like was the services. The staff was too lazy n they took a lot of time for providing services.

The front desk staff are very cheap. My jacket been robbed. I sincerely would suggest all travellers to not to chose this cheating hotel. Taj is all-time best.

Shabby run down hotel. Everything is chipped or frayed except the lobby. Badly in need of an upgrade. The minibar was not working and the sink would back up. The bathrooms are very small and the upstairs flush sounds like a thunderstorm in your bathroom. Worst of all was the service, right upto the duty manager who looks at you stupidly when you try to complain to him. Everyone giving you a big namaste all the time does not make for good service. Not a five star at all.

Good Hospitality. I checked in at 12.30 night, staff get us as fast as possible and room was equipped with all essential amenities. Good Housekeeping and wonderful interior.

Well Ramada Plaza is a decent place for lunch and dinner. Veg and Non-Veg menus are quite diverse with lots of exquisite options. Gentry is also decent. Waiters are friendly, orders are a bit delayed. The wait is worth it tho.

Visited for a brief while in April 2017 with friends. Spent about 15-20 mins in the lobby and the coffee shop. The ambience is nice and elegant while the crowd was good as per Varanasi standards. The lobby, restaurants and washrooms were absolutely clean and well maintained. It's a good option for eating out as well as stay when one is in Varanasi. Located next to JHV Mall in the Cantt. Area, it has ample open space for parking and drive through in front. Recommended.

Fantastic hotel, a proper 5star property. Warm welcoming staff at checkin, front desk and at restaurant. An outdoor swimming pool with gym and garden the cool thing to hangout. Gym has sauna and steam bath too. Spacious rooms with full amenities provided and a complimentary fruit salad in the room too provided.
Washrooms are bit of old looks, Bathtub is there but no cubical for a shower.
TV is of 40" and HD Channels are there too which itself shows the quality of Hotel.
Awesome breakfast buffet and food.

I sometimes prefer this hotel mainly because of the rooms, those are bigger in size and well maintained. Even if you are not fitness freak and eager to hit the gym, swimming pool should lure you for a quick dip. Buffet breakfast is awesome, specially the baked fish/chicken dishes. *Only set back is, even if you have paid full tariff in advance, they insist to deposit Rs. 2000/ — advance or credit card number, that makes you feel like a potential fraudulent customer, who may run away without paying bill. * I certainly don't find this kind of 'management rules' in Radisson or Gateway Hotel.

The smooth and comforting experience starts from the lobby of the hotel itself, the ambience is nice n grand at the same time. Rooms are comfortable, staff is cooperating. The best point is the availability of multicusine dinning, with superb taste.

One of the best hotels in the temple town. Located a bit far off from the ghats and temples, and the commute eats up into your time. Pricey, but that's expected in Tier 2 Indian cities. Huge built up area, and there is the namesake (JHV) mall next to it. The mall has McDonald's, Pizza Hut, CCD, etc so you have many options of eating apart from what's there at the hotel. Ample parking. The Varuna river can be viewed from rooms. Sounds from next door rooms, particularly that of toilets flushing, leak into your room and that's annoying. Nice restaurants, nice breakfast spread, courteous staff.

The Biggest Hotel in Cantonment with the biggest shopping mall in Varanasi. Good Shopping stop as it comes with Multi-Brand Stores. It has The Homemakers also in its 2nd Floor.

Its a very good hotel, nicely located. I stayed there for two nights from 28th june 2015. I booked three club rooms. The front desk staff was very cooperative and helpful. They allowed early check-in and late check-out. They took care of all our comfort. Rooms were spacious and having all modern outfits and toileteries. Breakfast spread was amazing hundreds of varieties. club lounge perhaps was under repair but they provided lot of snacks, mocktail, cold drink and tea/coffee as per requirement in the lobby free of charge (for club rooms). Only one morning the hot water is missing may be due to some local breakdown because of rains, but bucket of hot water was quick. there is good jhv mall in it which has also number of food outlets and mutiplex thus it was very pleasant stay and we will love it to there again whnever opportunity comes and more over it reasonably priced i do recommend it to the people visiting varanasi.

Worst experience I had till now at any hotel. After reserving in advance also we were, made to wait for half an hour for checking in. When wanted to meet the GM, he neigther met me nor spoke over phone. During breakfast we had to repeatedly ask for cutlery (Cups). House keeping is very poor. They didn't replace used cups and glasses. Response time for house keeping is too much. TV was not working for 3 hours due to maintenance and they had to call repeatedly to rectify the same. By no means it is of star hotel standard.
