Nice hotel, historical place, friendly people, splendid rooms. Like it. And doesn't kill your budget for a stay. Definitely a recommendation. Would go there again anytime.

Very nice place. Old royal palace converted into a heritage hotel. Well maintained. Location little inside the main road. Good value for money (atleast during the off-season like now).

This is probably one of the most memorable hotel stays I've ever had. I stayed here as part of the package tour that I booked in Delhi. It really is an oasis of calm in the middle of a bustling City. The only negative thing that happened is that there was a power outage and it got very hot in a short time, I was surprised that a hotel of this caliber did not have a generator for backup. But they did thing to put out candles so people would not trip in the hallways. That in and of itself made the stay memorable. See if you can get a room facing the pool side, rather than the other side of the building which looks upon a rubbish pile.

Great experience! They host a number of cultural programs without any extra cost. The food is good in taste and quantity. Service is extraordinary. It is extremely affordable given the quality of service you receive. It is the perfect place to relax your jadded nerves.

Our family of 6 just stayed here in three rooms including the incredible blue suite. This sanctuary is just what you want when travelling, excellent, discreet service, comfortable spacious rooms, and one of the best showers I have ever experienced in room 117. We ate here every night, as the menu changes, and the al fresco dining was divine. Thank you for a memorable stay.

A heritage hotel With great restaurants. Very clean and spic and span. Courteous and prompt service. Very ethnic ambience. Has all the modern facilities. Free Wi-Fi. Affordable.

Location We liked it literally everything. The former palace of the Maharaja, in the traditional Rajpudsky style, born at the junction of the Mughal and Indian cultures. A mixture of Hindu and Arab architectural styles. A real palace with exhibits of paintings, ancient weapons, ornaments, various antiques… Small exhibition of carriage:) Very helpful helpful staff, large two-room suite in Oriental style, fast Internet. Were pleasantly surprised by the varied choice of breakfast options. The hotel grounds are not big, but luxurious and filled with greenery. There are three restaurants, the upper restaurant seats in the evening must be booked in advance. The pool was closed early, at 21.00, and it is so nice to walk around in the evening. And all the same staff-is the best that is in the hotel. Even by the standards of India, above all praise! :) )

One of the best hotels in all over India. Excellent service and rooms are very clean. Loved the puppet show.

Beautiful Hotel The hotel is kept very English and acts like a museum. The entrance and the reception area in particular are beautiful. But there is everywhere in the hotel place which has the language to us.
There are three restaurants in the hotel. Depending on budget and specialties. The food is excellent in all three restaurants. There is also a bar and a billiard room.
Our room was large, nice furnished, clean and had a balcony. The bathroom was modern, large and clean. The air conditioning was quiet and worked very well. The Internet/Wi-Fi is very good throughout the hotel.
The pool is part of the shade and partly in the sun. All around it is beautiful green. A nice place to relax. P. S. : The cocktails are perfectly prepared.

We stayed here for three nights whilst exploring Jaipur. The hotel is a beautiful oasis away from the bustle of the city centre. The rooms are big, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the food delicious. We would highly recommend staying here.

Awesome heritage palace — turned — hotel. Big, clean rooms, excellent bathrooms; great service, lavish breakfast. Pretty close to tourist attractions n city center.

On our arrival we wondered if we were really in the right hotel: Everything is baroque, luxurious but also warm and friendly, we had stars full of eyes! We received a room with 2 terraces. Clean Three restaurants to choose from, the dishes are excellent. The pool is located in the shade, which is convenient to enjoy it in the afternoon and avoiding the sun. Thanks to a good internet connection, we were able to enjoy the network to watch YouTube and surf the net during our Aprèms relaxation. Welcome friendly and Pro, everyone was very nice. It is a palace-museum, and we have enjoyed the maximum. Thanks to the staff for everything!

Un mix of luxury and barroco. Nice place to be hosted. The funniest electric installation I have seen in indian hotels (and they are specialists of complex systems). Dont complicate your life : unplug… anyway, if you request help, it's that they will do. Spectacular breakfast. Buffet restaurant regular. Personnel nice.

It is a place beautiful, beautiful, ostentatious, colonial. Any corner, detail, is worthy of admiration aesthetic. It's beautiful. The rooms, ditto. In addition to large and spacious. The bad thing is the food, as in all the hosting sites. And not because of pique, but by the dishes and little variety, and in addition always be self service.

The nicest hotel that I have ever stayed in and so much more. The staff are wonderfully polite and friendly… Pareesh being our favourite. I'd return to Jaipur just to stay in this hotel again.

The hotel and the rooms are beautiful. The salons are crazy. Cleanliness is on the go. But for the reception they are not at the rendezvous. We had booked a taxi to pick us up at the airport for 1000 R The taxi was not there and when we called the receptionist, he was not aware and didn't know too much! Incomprehensible! After the other days the other receptionist told us we had to go back in an hour because he had no time! I did not know that in a hotel the guests had to settle behind the demands of the receptionists!
But otherwise the other staff were very helpful and kind especially Nagendra who officiates at the 5 storey restaurant.
Apart from the problem with the receptionists, the hotel is really OK.

Beautifully decorated rajput palace recently turned into a hotel, the service is extremely nice and the luxurious rooms are a great value for money — especially if you are upgraded like us! It also offers two rooftop restaurants with live music and a pool and spa with reasonable prices. It is ideally located in a calm neighborhood 10min away from city center. We will definitely come back!

Courteous staff, comfortable rooms, good food, great interiors, vibrant. I am sure there are many more places which offer similar hospitality, still you shouldn't stop yourself from experiencing this place.

The hotel is located in a quiet area. Heritage Hotel is a year-old retreat. Good service, but lack of motivation to fulfill special wishes of the guest. For example, I couldn't be worried about simple movie tickets. Also, when overbooking, you are simply sent to the distant haveli, despite booking months in advance. Equipment is top and eight impressive.

A fantastic property which provides a real royal stay. You can feel the luxury which the royal families used to enjoy. However if you are an Indian and planning to stay in this property then let me tell you that don't expect 5 star service level. As this hotel is mostly used by foreigners hence the staff pays less attention to Indians and often tends to give you a "royal" ignore.

The decor and gardens are beautiful. The staff are helpful and friendly. The room is large. There are lifts. The food was excellent but they served starter and main together. I stayed 2 nights but on one night my room was not cleaned — no fresh towels or water. Overhall I eould stay here again and recommend it.

Awesome property! Traditional architecture very tastefully blended with modern amenities and very courteous, friendly staff. Good options for food with rooftop restaurants setting up a very romantic ambience. The bar and cocktails were a bit disappointing, but th overall ambience makes it all worthwhile. Even though, the location of the hotel is in a residential area in the middle of the city, you're transported almost magically tona whole new world as soon as you step in. Absolutely amazing!

This accommodation is a luxury. It is a small palace, which offers quality accommodation and comfort very high. The personal attention and the care are excellent. Very well in restoration. The rooms are spacious and the toilets to dance. A flirtation of accommodation. It is worth to enjoy it.

A uniquely beautiful hotel. Every day, a father and his children performed on the rooftop terrace for folklore dancing. Just fantastic.

It was a wonderful expérience staying in Hotel Shahpura. It had beautiful rooms and a very courteous staff. Our room was upgraded to a suite room which was very nice and cozy. Swimming pool was well maintained and clean. Lawns were also well maintained. Food also tasted nice. We enjoyed puppet show and rajasthani folk dance which was complimentary. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Very welcoming staff, fascinating interior which is authentic to traditional values subtlety mixed with modern facilities. Choice of two excellent restaurants to cover all tastes with friendly staff. Room was very comfortable and luxurious with a balcony to view the amazing pool and gardens. We were made to feel right at home and thoroughly enjoyed the Diwali celebrations laid on for all guests — the rooftop meal where we could view fireworks from all around was an exceptionally special treat. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Jaipur area.

Excellent hospitality and beautiful rooms. The staff understands the customer requirements / needs and takes necessary action. I had requested for a king size bed as I was travelling with my family. However, I was given the room with 2 single beds as the room with king size bed was smaller compared to the one given to me. The single beds were joined which sufficed are needs.

Beautiful place. Big and clean rooms. Very friendly staff. The dinner buffett has a big selection of indian food. Overall 3 restaurants, 2 on the rooftop. Spa and pool are clean. Great stay here.

A gorgeous hotel with extraordinary charm. The hotel was originally a Rajput palace and that is evident throughout. If you love heritage hotels, this is the place to stay while in Jaipur.

Fantastic heritage hotel building let down by is staff. The building is a maze of corridors and spectacular lounges and the room was fantastic. The staff however were pushy with drinks each time you saw them and hung around for tips.

If you're a photographer, you will have tons and tons of antiques of all sorts to take pictures of. There's wall paintings all over the place. Mirrored ceilings, and more and more miniature paintings on the walls. Virtually every inch of everything is done up fancy and artful. You'll be amazed. You will have more to photograph, than The National Museum in New Delhi.

Filled with bus loads of package tourists when we were and a little out the way of the centre of town attractions… nevertheless the accommodation is pretty flawless and at an outstanding deal for the price.

Shahpura was by far the best hotel we stayed at the entire trip. The hotel has an amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, great attention to detail, delicious food and was fantastic value for money. I can't recommend it highly enough.

We reserve and paid our night of hotel via the website. The money was charged while the hotel was overbooked! BAD SURPRISE.
Do not online booking, they are unable to manage and you may have a bad surprise.
now they ask me 15 days for a refund.

Being in there last month. It's ok in general. The PR old man should be retired. He stands in the room for ever waiting for a tip making the host being embarrassed because he deeply stares at you and whoever else in the room. Once he gets the money he kindly asks you not to write this issue in the web page. Here it goes my writing. Please get rid of him this does not help your hotel at all. Would never come back over there. Cheers.

Very good value if you are looking to stay in a traditional Haweli style hotel rather than a modern hotel. Has a lot of character and charm and the staff try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooftop restaurant is great for a nice relaxing meal at the end of the day and they try to make your stay more enjoyable by providing entertainment and a taste of local culture. Had a room with private terraces which was great.

Its is the best um best servise of royal rajputana.

Overall it was a pleasant stay in Jaipur. The only negative point is that it is situated in a noise place anyway. On arrival we were greeted by staff members and they were very helpful and kind. We stayed in deluxe room which was comfortable and spacious. I only spent 1 day (the last time 3), but a real worthy place.

We stayed here for 2 nights, in December 2012. The hotel is nice and well maintained. We had a suite which was absolutely gorgeous. After an (expensive) stay in the Shapura palace we selected the Shapura as a base in Jaipur. Nice neighborhood, not a lot of breathing space around it but well situated. Pool area small but sufficient to relax after sightseeing, though weather too cool when we stayed. The hotel's greatest asset met us right after we had arrived. I really enjoyed the Jaipur city tour and we would like to come again to visit in Rajasthan. I.
