One of the most authentic experience in Rajasthan in a dated fortress. The hospitality is genuine and straight from the heart. Would recommend it at par with more famous hotels like Taj Lake Palace and Oberoi Udaivilas.

Absolutely beautiful with food that is so divine! The staff is so wonderful, it was an absolute treat exploring this incredible palace.

My husband and I stayed at RAAS Devigarh for the second time in December, and we already can’t wait to go back! The property is absolutely breathtaking, the food divine, and the staff super friendly and accommodating. While Udaipur could easily be seen in a day/day and a half, staying at RAAS is an experience in and of itself that deserves a few days to be fully enjoyed. We loved exploring the property and it’s many viewpoints, indulging in spa treatments, relaxing poolside, and trying some of the signature cocktails. With regards to rooms, the added charm of a Palace or Aravali Suite is definitely worth the money if you can afford it (the Garden Suites are still very spacious and nicely decorated if you can’t).

What a fabulous hotel! I recommend it to all! The service and all was excellent.

There was a group of 11 ladies. The staff treated us very well. The hotel is absolutely magnificent and the health services are exceptional. We all enjoyed our stay there. I would recommend this place anytime.

RAAS Devigarh is a wonderful place where where one can find peaceful beautiful surroundings and totally royal experience! We have been going there every year since many years and will continue to do so! The staff is extremely helpful, polite and give all the guests feeling of being home! Plus there have been very positive changes brought in by the new owners the Rass group where the owner personally looks into the details.

Beautiful view from the hotel rooms. Hill view is just amazing… It's a beautiful 5 star hotel in udaipur with all the basic and luxurious amenities, the lobby area is vast and beautiful, Swimming pool area is really good. Well behaved and polite staff with the prompt services. Food at the restaurant is delicious. And the rooms are vast and the ambience inside the hotel and the room is very cozy. This hotel worths your price and the time.

You just need to come, a truly special place. This is my second stay and I couldn’t be more in love with the place or the Indian people.

Gorgeous backdrop surrounded by hills and magnificent sunset to behold on the horizon lavishly styled rooms with Royal heritage interiors, sizzling mouth watering food served and last but not the least the courteous staff ever to serve by your side. This place is a must visit during festivals such as dusshera, diwali you can rejoice the festivities at this magnificent heritage paradise that devigarh is situated in the historic land of the mighty mewari suryavanshis.

We have booked our package from Goibibo. In that they mantion as accommodation only. But hotel desk people inform us while check out that hotel have all packages with breakfast.

Hotel staff not informed us for breakfast which is included in our package that was very uncomfortable for us.

I’ve been to a lot of great hotels, this one blew them all away. It’s often hard to find tranquility in India, this place on the other hand gives new meaning to relaxing.

I has been a very incredible experience to stay in this palace / hotel. We got a amazing room on the top of the roof having also a mirror room which was incredible. The room has also a balcony. Swimming pool and restaurant area are fine. Breakfast is nice. A very wonderful stop before getting to Udaipur.

OMG, this hotel is amazing. Steeped in history it perfectly blends the original palace with very tasteful modern rooms. Situated atop a hill in a stunning valley with a truly authentic Indian village at it's feet. Im plotting my return!

I had an opportunity to stay at this wonderful serene and gorgeous property in December 2017. The mix of the old and new modern rooms was tastefully done. They have kept the old and equipped the rooms with modern practical furnishings and amenities. The marriage between the two is perfect. To top this off is the amazing staff, who are attentive and ready to assist you 24 hours a day. They courteous, knowledgeable, and eager to help. I had stayed three nights and every moment memorable. I had the opportunity to meet the General Manager Mr. Sridhar Thota, and he is extremely humble and down to earth. Their Concierge service is always ready to assist in any and all circumstances. The young lady at Concierge from Assam, whose name escapes me at present, was wonderful. Even the driver Mr. Puran Singh was also very helpful. He was with us for all three days, and we thank you him for his services. I highly recommend this property, to relax and have a quite peaceful stay. Mind you this property is about 30 minutes from Udaipur downtown, but that is the beauty of this property. It is near but far with beautiful hills surrounding the hotel. I salute Mr. Thota for running a fabulous property. I surely will stay again here, given an opportunity. Thank you Raas Devigarh, staff and management, for a wonderful and memorable memory. A place we’re raja and rani leaved. The best star property in Udaipur. But I find it’s little expedience on food and beavarges. Fabulous stay!

This place is good to stay there is a spa a hotel where we can stay a bar where we can drink our favourite drinks there is a pool where we can enjoy swimming it is situated in a village so the view of mountain is amazing specially in winters.

One of d most beautiful palaces I visited Nestled right on top of d hills D view is breathtaking A must visit in udaipur.

Freezing cold room (16*C). Kept trying to increase it to 24*C. Was the heater broken? Toilet ran non-stop. Our guide, Vaishnaivi was lovely and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend her. Otherwise it is an excellent place.

The Location of the Hotel on/or In the Mountains promises and grants overwhelming, unique views. The Ambience breathes History and in the good Air you can enjoy Peace and quiet. The somewhat warm Swimming Pool is Fun, the uncomfortable Couch in the Room somehow doesn't seem to fit the Exterior of the Hotel. But That is the case. The Room is very spacious and the Bathroom and the Seat in front of the Suite as well. The Staff is very nice and anxious; the Pool Attendant, however, wanted to close the Parasol at 16 30:00, as "soon" the Sun went down. Nevertheless, I was allowed to continue to use the Shadow, because it was my ' express wish '. " The Staff were friendly and accommodating at all Times. We have the most amazing few days at the RAAS Devigath, the upgrade to a palace suite was just the start of all the lovely surprises for my birthday. The staff are wonderful so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We will hopefully be back.

While we went the hotel was getting ready for renovations so I am really excited to see what touch RAAS adds to this property which has shaken hands multiple times. The rooms that we stayed in (aravali suites) were absolutely brilliant! every room is different so make sure you check out a few options so you get the best bang for your money when you check in. Rooms are over all very beautifully appointed with all amenities and comfortable bed. I would say that we were a bit disappointed with a few aspects of the service. While paying the bombshell that we did for 3 Rooms, I thought we would get over and above service. Though some aspects of service really disappointed me. Although I'll give special recognition to Mrinal and Gautam from the restaurant who managed to save their colleagues short comings. I would definitely stay at the property again if you would like a royal feel and don't mind the hour long drive to explore the surrounding areas. Roads are really good.

The reviews were so wrong about this amazing hotel experience. We were treated like royalty. We're given room 44, a ️perfect suite! Large with different sitting areas and a huge bathroom. The food we had in all different sitting areas of the palace were spectacular. The staff, especially, Sanjay were top notch. We relaxed, played croquet on the lawn, even played ping pong. A quiet hotel, not splashy but elegant.

Dear Sridharji, This is Dhaval Raichura from Porbandar and we have been your guest from september 06 to 09, 2015. We were three couple and we regret to inform you that we were totally unsatisfied at your hotel and also we feel shame to point out on five star hotel with not one, not two, but many of the points which had dissatisfied us and spoil our vacation mood. Below mention is the glimpse of the points of difficulties faced at your hotel: 1. On the very first day out of our three rooms, in one room at night 12'o'clock we have to shift our room due to the flush not working and the same work was going on from 9pm but the decision was taken at 12am after requesting your executives. And in that room our parents were staying so they have disturbed their sleep and have to transfer rooms. Is it five star management? There was only sorry word from your executives. People come in your hotel to take rest out of the busy schedule in their routines and in hotel also we have to face this type of difficulties? Again on the next day no any type of courtesy from your staff members and reacting as if nothing happen and everything running smoothly. 2. With the room we thought that ok it happens but again in the breakfast on the second day we face very big problem in veg and non — veg section.

I did not stay here, but spent an evening celebrating my anniversary here, and it was amazing. The building is historic and gorgeous, well-maintained but clearly retaining much of its original character. We had sunset cocktails on the veranda, then moved into the sexy bar (think low lighting, glittery golds and deep red plush cushions) for some nibbles. Finally, an amazing multi-course dinner, served to us in a private room atop a tower with a view of stars from 3 sides, and a musician playing just outside. Wow! The road there was a bit harrowing, but once there it was idyllic and peaceful — — a spot you could easily spend a week and not need to leave the grounds.

Best 5 star I have visited.
