The staff lacks basic etiquette, manners and are impolite. The management does not know what communication transpires from the reservation, to conceirge to restaurant. By virtue of amenties if this chain wants to claim the status of 5 star, then they totally got it wrong. They should learn hospitality from Taj, Leela, Hyatt and even a 4 star is more organised than this circus. Out of the three day of my stay I was made to feel unwanted and questioned about whether my breakfast or dinner was paid or not despite paying in advance of whatever I was quoted. My first and last ever with Marriott.
They truly nailed the coffn when the waiter walked over to my dinner table wherein I was sitting with 2 kids and asked us to pay or leave. When I said I am paid in advance for a 3 day stay he insisted my child doesnt look like child so I paid for two adults only. Despite the fact I handed out id cards for each one of us while checkin to verify age details. Its disgusting how can you pull out a 100 percent paid customer from the restaurant infront of all the diners. Post pandemic your mannerisms has apparently nose dived to the lowest. Funnily and to my dismay I went to conceirge at 7.30 evening just to ask if theres any due I must clear as I am checking out tmrw and handed them my card over. They said mam your dues are clear but after 2 hours they seemed to be waiting for me in the dining room to create a scene. Last day and my kids being embarrased enough for 3 days at the restaurant are unwilling to come out of room and eat the hotels lack lustre breakfast. Which to their fortune I paid in full. If your customers disgust you so much why even keep the doors to your hotel open just shut the shop. To anyone who carries even a wee bit of self respect and do not want to be shredded for their modesty must never visit this place ever. Its a nightmare. For three days every morsel of food which I justly paid for was made to feel like poision. Marriott is a leech to the hotel industry no more no less.
