Pathetic customer service at seasonal taste restaurant. I had gone out for family dinner on monday night. Before going for dinner, I called up restaurant and checked for the dinner table, I told them that I will be booking it through eazydiner app and the person from westin said dinner buffet is 1 plus 1 free through that app. I reserved table for 2 people through eazydiner app. When I got my bill, that was fine and I was charged for only one person dinner buffet and I paid for it and left the place. However, as I was leaving the hotel and was about to go out, I came back to the restaurant and as a matter of courtesy I thought of giving them review about their customer service and told them that their service is very slow and delayed. I had ordered pasta and it never came to my table. I asked for ice-cream and it came 20 minutes after my order when I was about to leave the place. When I was leaving again, at that time I got the shock of the worst customer service one could ever expect. One guy from the restaurant comes and tell me that they had given me wrong bill of one plus one free buffet and I am not entitled for free buffet. I am entitled to 20% discount only on my food bill. When I confronted him that how could they charge wrong bill initially and why did they confirm for free buffet over the phone, they were pretty rude and non-courteous. This was the arrogant service from the westin hotel. No experience manager or mature staff came forward to rectify the situation. Restaurant guy was more interested in getting the bill difference collected from me rather than trying to handle the situation in courteous manner. It was horrifying and non-hospitable customer service from the westin hotel staff. No one would expect this type of service from such a premium hotel chain but it seems that hotel is more interested in earning their money rather than providing satisfying customer service. I believe if this type of mistake had happened at other hotel, they would have not dared to ask for differential amount because of their staff's billing mistake. But this was some horrifying, pathetic, non-hospitable and tasteless experience at westin gurgaon.
