A beautiful place to stay with lovely food and a most helpful, welcoming and informative host. Even though the weather was not as kind as it could have been, (we enjoyed the hot tub watching the rain come in from the sea! ), we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely return on another trip to Iceland. It was the best place we stayed on our tour of the island ❤️
In our 14 days Iceland travel, this of course has been the most beautiful and comfortable guesthouse. We traveled the ring road around the island for 11 days/nights at the beginning of August staying in a different location each night. The Grenivik Guesthouse was by far our favorite of all 11! The guest rooms are incredibly comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub and the floor to ceiling windows in the kitchen/shared space. The shared space and Ingolfur make you feel like you are at home. The high quality of his construction and customer service shine through. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Northern Iceland.
