The Corinthia Budapest is a beautiful gem in the heart of the city. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful, varied, and absolutely delicious. Beautiful spa on site. Location is fantastic — easy walking distance to most sites. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our first time here. A wonderful & memorable experience. Reception staff A+, housekeeping, and overall experience was phenomenal. So enjoyed the buffet breakfasts. Warm welcome & greetings from Irda, Kristina, Chef David just to name a few. EVERYONE at breakfast was 100% Awesome! We will return & one should experience this magnificent hotel at least once!

I have been a victim of fake investment which I lost $50, 000 to. I did not know it was a scam
until I started getting a lot of excuses about why I cannot withdraw my money and, I was asked
to pay more money before I can withdraw the money I invested. I lost a lot of money. I was
devastated and, I almost lost my mind because I used my savings and, I did not know anything
about crypto then. I looked for help until I was directed to a security company in America
that helped to recover most of the money I had lost. It was really worth it. I will be happy
to share my experience with anybody that is interested.

My wife and I had planned to travel in the EU from April 2020 through November 2020 and then Covid-19 changed our plans. The EU closed the borders to American travelers. We begin asking for refunds stating that we were not canceling but we were being prohibited from traveling to the EU by government regulations so it was completely out of our control. Out of all of the cruise lines, air lines, hotels, tours, and transportation we had arranged for the entire trip, this is the ONLY hotel that would not refund our money. I had several email exchanges with them in which they reminded us we had booked non-cancellation accommodations and I explained that we were not canceling but being prohibited from traveling there. I appealed to their sense of fairness to no avail. I have learned a lesson about this hotel and it is one I intend to pass on to as many people as possible. I you decide to stay at this hotel, DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE!

The Spa was closed but they forgat to tell it and the price was normal dispite of that.
We ran out of toiletpaper, there wasnt more in the room. Our keycards stopped working while still staying at the Hotel.

True to it’s general rating. Gabor working downstairs is AMAZING! He went out of his way to ensure my experience at the restaurant/bar was nothing short of impeccable. He should train the ladies working at the front desk. Other than Eva, all other ladies I encountered were not pleasant at all. They seemed to be bothered to have to assist people. I’m sorry, when working at such a landmark it’s kind of your responsibility to be pleasant, to smile and be outgoing. All the gents, Eva and again — Gabor — made my experience truly memorable. I will be returning soon and will highly recommend this place to anyone.

Generally a very luxurious hotel with everything you wish for at the level this hotel is rated at. Executive rooms are spacious with big beds and seating area and super bathroom. Food is excellent but has you would expect dearer than your standard hotel. Staff are excellent smiley and eager to help and ensure your stay is enjoyable. One item that is unexpected is the taking up front the sum of 50 Euros per night which will make a big dent in the cash amount you have, you do get it back on checkout but then it is more cash when going home. Would highly recommend this hotel even with this drawback just to experience the stay in a top luxury hotel in Budapest.

First time in Budapest so we decided to treat ourselves. From the moment we arrived everything was amazing. Arrived in at 12pm and were allowed check in early — and checking out late was no problem too. Our executive room (1206) had a balcony at the front of the hotel — worth paying the extra, as you have access then to the executive lounge. The spa / swimming pool was very peaceful and spotlessly clean. The staff were excellent.

We have been staying in Corinthia for 9 nights. The hotel is amazing, every time we come back in our room in the evening it's very clean, maids are doing their job perfectly. Breakfast is wonderful, but every day the same. Swimming pool is great, all the staff is very polite and helpful. If come again, would like to live here again and also would be great to try other Corinthia hotels in different cities.

The Corinthia Hotel was nothing short of amazing. My husband and I stayed here in May with his parents. It was a special trip to trace back my father in laws family that immigrated in 1926. The concierge team was incredible in helping us all the way. The apartment style room we stayed in was just perfect and the restaurants in the hotel had awesome food. Centrally located too. Definitely book here if your traveling to Budapest.

The Corinthia is an incredible example of Old World charm and style mixed with modern amenities. This was our fourth visit to Europe and this hotel was the best hotel by far that we have stayed in. You will be impressed from the moment you walk into the beautiful lobby to the first time you visit the amazing spa. The pool at the spa happens to be a great place to finish the day and unwind after seeing all the sites. The service at this hotel is second to none as the front desk was happy to help with directions to various venues and the restaurant staff were top notch. Our only regret is the fact that we did not get to stay here longer.

A top destination spot in Budapest as it combines old world charm with modern amenities. Everything about this place is going to amaze you from the lobby to the spa. The pool is a really great way to finish the day after seeing the sites of the city. So if you truly wish to pamper yourself you must plan a stay here and the longer the better.

A luxury hotel. Lovely entrance Hall and breakfast buffet area. The spa is the best. With executive room you have the free spa. It's awesome. And also an area reserved for taking things and snacks from 6.30 in the morning till 22.00. With everything they put there you eat lunch and dinner. It's spectacular. It's worth paying for. Furthermore, this hotel is right next to the most emblematic shopping and leisure Street in the centre. And at night where there is a lot of atmosphere. A place to repeat.

This is s first class hotel with a mix of grandeur and modern flair. The staff were extremely professional and courteous, a special mention to Daniel at reception who welcomed us with warmth, professionalism and set the tone. The breakfast buffet is an experience with everything you can think of even fresh carrot juice. A must is the spa with the mosaic pool, a great place to unwind. Will definitely come back. Luxury Hotel. With Espa. Saunas. Massages. Gym. Bar. Restaurant. Meeting room. Very cozy. There are bars around. Cafeterias and for lunch or dinner.

The point for a beautiful interior in the lobby, for good service and cleaning. In the lobby of the hotel everything is fine, went up to the floor and were unpleasant surprised: carpet is not just old, on it already even the picture is not visible, on the walls of wallpaper unglued pieces, all in some sweat and dirty stains. In the room is not better situation: The carpet is scary to walk, if you imagine how much it is already here (its only vacuum), in the bathroom smell of sewage aired only in the evening. The husband went to change the room-all the same, and also the windows on the avenue, and I am very light sleeper. Thanks for the good cleaning and nightly sweets. A bottle of water on the table in the room costs 7 euros, probably the tears of Hungarian virgins. In the refrigerator-cheaper. The spa is not bad, but mattresses on sunbeds periodically should be changed. The hotel is very much needs renovation on the floors and in the rooms. We're not coming here anymore.

It's a spectacular, luxury hotel. It has the big rooms and very nice. Impeccable cleaning.
The best thing about the site is the pool which is beautiful.
I don't give 5 stars because we had a problem: We asked late check out. When we came back to the room at 12:05 the key was already blocked and we had to get off (in bathrobes, we were returning from the pool) to the front desk. It turned out they forgot to mark that we had the late departure.

The Corinthia Hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the parliament, Danube bridges etc. Removed. The rooms are large and clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Particularly noteworthy is the great spa area with a very nice bathing area.

Took my wife for her Birthday stayed in a suite and it was a superb room. Executive club was fantastic and staff were very attentive. Staff gave my wife champagne and cake in the room for her birthday a nice touch. Spa is superb but best avoided on days where there are courses held there as it’s very crowded.

Hotel is located in the city center. Room very well equipped with coffee machine and delicious tea and cafe. Room and bathroom spacious. Mattress is good. Everything you would expect in the 5 star hotel, bathrobe, slippers etc. Which is well-suited for wellness. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Three nights and four days, spent at the Corinthia Hotel, care in detail and attention to the customer, which is noted in the small things, such as the welcome in the room with a welcome kit and welcome message, an incredibly assorted breakfast, for all tastes with Excellent products, consumed in a refined place with attentive, helpful and courteous staff. Restaurants and brasseries that carefully resolve your "appetites", the delightful spa with a swimming pool that allows you to make beautiful solo strokes, if you are an early riser, but if more tea there is the Gimnasium and after the spa again. Obvious this must be included in your offer to stay, but it is absolutely recommended. Value for money for my great experience.

Now, let's take a walk to the Royal Corinthia Hotel! To get started, go to the front desk to pick up your key (because this hotel is probably in the Middle Ages) then it's a matter of trying to get to your lodging in a monastery (an annex resembling a space worthy of a retreat Spiritual). Open the door and… admire this horror! A standard German apartment of the years 50 (no television in the master bedroom, a shower that works once on 2 just like the heating, a second room that looks on a wall and resembles the gite of Dracula (this one does not live rather in rum Anie? Short let's go…) Then let's talk a bit about the pool… Isn't this supposed to be a relaxing place? If? This may be true in other hotels but not in this one: Do not go on weekends it is open to the public (long live the money, long live the money, long live the winter money) and no one to monitor the overflows (not great to see a pregnant woman getting Crush not a man overweight with anyone to rescue her) … anyway… to complete my review go look at the photos I could take… if you dare to go there after reading this post I wish you a good trip or rather a lot of courage…

I sincerely wonder where all these positive opinions come from as my experience in this hotel was disastrous…
1) The reception very cold, very unlovable and we give you then pairs of keys… 1st amazement but I will not delay to know why 2) an annex of the hotel I had booked via Booking a large room. The pictures looked fantastic. We walk 10 minutes in the hotel and there surprise… we go out of the hotel across a street… and we find ourselves in a modern annex finally if we can say to the design ugly and comfort all relative. We access the room with the keys delivered to the reception.
3) The room the photos seemed to be there as extraordinary and instead we find ourselves in a large room with rather sketchy comfort and improbable look (one of the rooms looked like a closet) 4) pretty basic bathrooms and a Operation of hot water very capricious not to mention the lack of power… very often it looked like a trickle of water barely hot 5) very capricious heating there too… impossible to adjust it from the room (sic) and some mornings you Wake up in cold Aillant 6) SPA > You have a room so saying luxury which gives you access to the spa… The concern is that you have to cross a street and then cross the whole hotel to access it… what a Comfort!

This is hands down one of the best hotels I've had the opportunity to stay. The facilities are beautiful. The restaurant is delicious, and the area is perfect. It's my preferred hotel when I travel to Budapest. It is highly recommended.

Really nice hotel. Great facilities. Rooms are spacious and the bed was really comfortable, which is what you need after a long day exploring. Location wise I wouldn't say it was smack bang in the middle. The main tourist sites were a 5-10 can journey. Staff were also really nice and accomodating. Not quite a 5/5 but I'd say 4.5/5. Definitely go back and stay again.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms with good quality furniture. English channels free Wi-Fi and luxurious shower and bath. The spa area and lobby are amazing. Superb sauna jacuzzi and steam room. So relaxing. Coffee in room would benefit from milk pots rather than powder. They wanted to charge 3€ for milk to the room.

Words cannot express the beauty of this beautiful hotel. From the moment you are welcomed in through the doors you are taken on a journey of sumptuousness. It went far beyond a 5* if I could give 10 I would! The service is incredible with attention to personal detail, the staff just couldn't do enough to make sure that you had everything you need. The executive treat was so special up on the mezzanine. Drinking champagne and enjoying mini bites to eat. The rooms are stunning and so impeccably clean and stocked. Loved the daily chocs on the bed. But. The best treat was the pool… what an absolute wow factor, again so clean. To swim in a setting of luxury just made you not have a care in the world. 100% attention by all staff to make sure our stay here was the best which it most definitely was.
A footnote… one waitress a young lady called Patricia melted our hearts. So polite and courteous an absolute delight to meet her. And like all her colleagues she showed a pride in her work. Fantastic experience!

What a beautiful hotel. Everything is classy and refined. The staff is at the small care and responds to any request. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The spa is very beautiful and what a pleasure to relax after no good day of sightseeing in town. And the breakfast is really fabulous. Its location is ideal for visiting Budapest. We will return to that.

Beautiful hotel and Spa. Very clean. The room service is spotless. The staff at the reception and at. The concierge is however not always up to par. Ask for an umbrella, a reservation seems to disturb some employees. Also at breakfast as soon as customers flock.

Amazing hotel. This is a very high class hotel with every possibly thing you can think of. The in house restuarnts are amazing, there is a giant spa (haven't tried it) The hotel is located in a great place to go out at night and it is very high class. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. For the time I went it wasn't too pricey considering the high quality of this hotel And as an added bonus the movie "The Grand Budapest Hotel" is actually based on this hotel.

Good location. Beautiful rooms with stunning decor. The executive suite had gorgeous views and all of the staff here were so courteous and accommodating. We spent Christmas at this hotel and everything was just perfect. Champagne glasses always kept full at breakfast and dinner and fantastic spa treatments. Will definitely be back.

Staying there one night. Accommodations fantastic. The executive perks on the mezzanine were great and the service was fantastic. Don't miss the Late Late Night bartender. Great drinks great service great conversation. Room size and features were very nice. Far better accommodations for the price than I would expect in a first class European Hotel. Great value.

Not a true 5 star Prorpio, not at the height of the chain it represents! The hotel is definitely nice but the treatment is not adequate! The most embarrassing thing was to find the linen that we had accontonato on the floor repositioned without being changed! SPA very nice and well maintained but not adequate to the numbers to which they allow access! To be improved definitely.

Really comfortable hotel at reasonable rates. I paid for a club room and was upgraded to an executive suite. It had 2 bathrooms, a really big dressing room and nice size sitting and bedrooms. Furnishings were new and comfortable. Service was excellent. I paid for buffet breakfast with the room — it was a good way to start the day. There were lots of food choices.

Hotel rooms €250 The night and you have to pay for a water without carbon dioxide still €4 — €6. Spa area is top, hotel is top but I find that unacceptable.

Great hotel with good service, ranging from the concierge services, room service to day trip planning. Good location, but not prime location in respect to the riverside or main shopping districts. Sightseeing definitely requires a hop on hop off bus tour or taxi's to get to the some main spots.

The massage service in this bar is relaxing and pleasant. The swimming pool is also very enjoyable. For some reason the front desk Staff had not been trained to treat the clientele in the way that most people who use such luxurious hotels as the Corinthian are you used to. Don't pay any attention to their manner. My check in person, Dora made the experience of paying for the services reminiscent of going through the mortgage process with an unfriendly bank. Ironically these young peopke are clearly trained to smile and act pleasant as they make your experience of signing in for the spa a real ordeal. Like visiting a Dickensian lawyer. But please let me repeat / the massages were great. Not cheap. But relaxing.

I ended up choosing the Executive Club of this 5 star hotel with 4 restaurants, spa and much more.

Excellent room with very tasteful marble based decor in the bathroom offering seperate bath and shower cubicle optionality. The hotel has an understated elegant aura about it, with plenty of natural lighting, neutral coloured marble, complimented by lovely piano melodies throughout the evenings. The staff are very attentive to the guest's needs and polite. The executive lounge is well worth it, offering good value. Finally, the spa and pool facility were very pleasing on the eye, however the pool and jacuzzi can be a little warmer. Timing is key to ensure you enjoy your time spent at the health facility.

Hotel has a wonderful character and charm centrally located with fantastic facilities and great service. Staff very attentive and professional it's perfect. What isn't perfect is the fact that despite the cost of your stay nothing is complimentary not even water. The rooms have a min bar which is not free. But be careful the wine and water on the table looks as if you can help yourself but it is NOT complimentary. The rooms are lovely but despite asking for firmer pillows I still got terrible soft fill ones lets the hotel down.

Stay at the beginning of March of 4 nights for the 5th time in this superb capital Budapest. And the first time in this beautiful hotel. Excellent location, Majestic decor, high level services, attentive staff, executive rooms give access to interesting privileges. In short a hotel to visit imperatively.

Unbelievable service, stunning architecture inside and out, and very comfortable rooms. The staff go above the call of duty for any request, making your stay memorable and worry-free.

My wife and I have stayed here for 3 nights prior to embarking on a Viking river cruise. We took advantage of the hotels 3 nights for the price of two and upgraded to Executive rooms. The added cost was well worth it in my opinion as it included breakfast and access to the Executive Club area which contained a nice relaxing lounge area and had finger foods, soups, pastries, juices and drinks at no cost throughout the day. The hotel itself has quite a history dating back to its original opening in 1896 or so and was a meeting place of intellectuals, writers, and entertainers throughout its history. Although about a twenty or thirty minute walk from City Center, it is only minutes away by Metro subway which is only one and one-half blocks away. I t is only a half block to Deak Ferenc Ter which is a beautiful block long pedestrian park area with eating establishments on both sides. Perhaps the best I can say is that we returned the following year for another stay there while in Budapest.
