Gorgeous hotel, beautiful location. Incredibly helpful staff, amazing breakfast, rooms are comfortable and cozy. Located at a great point near the Jewish Quarter, quick access to all the sites. Wife and I walked to Margaret Bridge/Island 30-35 mins one way. Definitely book if you’re needing a central/great spot for site seeing.

Hotel Palazzo is a fantastic place to stay and was an ideal base for my exploration of Budapest. It is a boutique style hotel and my room was extremely well appointed and sound proofed. Not only was no round noise there was little noise from the adjacent rooms. At times it really did feel I was in the place by myself. Breakfast was included which featured a superior buffet which was a great start to the day. For dinner I went to one of the local restaurants which were sub 2 minutes away on a pedestrianised plaza/Street.

Amazing, amazing and also amazing. A four star hotel with 5 star facilities. Amazing service, free tea, coffee and bottled water during the day and our room was attended to even when we left late in the day. Highly recommended by my partner and I. If / when we return to Budapest the Hotel Palazzo Zichy will be our first choice for accommodation.

Excellent place to stay! The staff are extraordinary efficient and very helpful. They kindly sent a complimentary chocolate plate to our room because my mom had a birthday. Everything went smoothly and the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet was delicious and healthy. Many variations of food. Lounge has a free coffee and tea and spring water until 5pm when it'll change to bar area. I definitely want to go again!

Very Cozy, well maintained and a beautiful place. Walking distance from the Danube. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast spread was very rich in variety and good.

Beautiful 4 stars hotel located several minutes next to Kalvin Square. Very quite location next to a church, so the only noises we've heard were the church bells. Staff is kind and thoughtful. Breakfast is nutritious. Rooms & facilities are great. Recommended.

Another Hotel in the Continental Group that just has the best staff. Very clean spacious rooms. Beautiful varied breakfast options for meat eaters or vegetarians. Desk staff always smiling and willing to make your stay in Budapest as easy and comfortable during your stay. What's not to like.

Stayed here twice, very good hotel! We stayed in room 202 which has views over the coverd courtyard. With the windows open it is very quiet. Breakfast is included and has everything you could want. Great location close to the trams. We visited the hot spring baths and this was a great place to Base ourselves. The two of us used the trams and metro to get around the city and bought sets of 10 tickets which worked out better for us than two 24hr passes.

The Hotel was incredible and the people who work there could not be more helpful. I will most certainly return. A marvellous experience immaculate bedrooms that were wonderfully clean.

Very nice hotel regarding the room: We were in a double room on the fifth floor (the 501) on the inner courtyard and everything was perfect! The room was very clean, of correct size, quiet (of course, there are always some indelicate guests…), no bathtub but a large comfortable Italian shower (water a little the ground but nothing serious! ), "Guest" Products: soap, shower gel, shampoo, body milk (super product! ), set with cotton and cotton rods. A safe, easy to use, storage, hangers…
The breakfast (included in all the rooms) was exceptional: friendly staff, cold salted (salmon, cheese, raw vegetables) hot salted (eggs bacon…) Sweet (different breads, pastries…), fruit, tea and coffee… a fresh drink service and hot free until 5pm in the lobby (carbonated and non-carbonated water, coffee tea) staff smiling and friendly… close to a tram stop and a few minutes from a Metro stop!

The best and most caring staff I've experienced to date. I highly recommend. They truly appreciate you as a guest and make sure that your stay is a good one. They actually mailed us a hand-written letter a few days after returning home to thank us for staying in their hotel. Absolutely nothing to worry about with this place. You will be treated very well.

Fantastic hotel. You will be blown away from the moment you walk in to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was top quality. Located not too far from a metro also makes it great for heading to other parts of the city.

This was my second trip to Budapest and my second stay at Zichy. Its one of my favourite hotels in the world. Really modern, friendly, and comfortable. Location is a short walk from the tourist attractions. Breakfasts are excellent and included. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Beautiful hotel, lovely location! I’d get the junior suite if you can afford it, — the standard rooms are a little small! Service is outstanding, best breakfast experience I’ve had in a while (all complimentary) — maybe had one too many sparkling wines to start the day!

Best hotel you can find in Budapest, on its price range. Very friendly and helpful staff (amazing reception staff! ). They always smile and help: it looks easy, but this is what actually makes your stay memorable. Perfect location, clean, well organized, modern. Room is spacious and exactly as shown in the photos. Breakfast is excellent. I would come back anytime. Complimentary water & coffee facilities during the day, at the lounge bar.

Great location in the city center. 15 minutes walk from the city center. Nice room, nice staff, nice breakfast buffet. Just the duvet of the bed not wide enough but super bed.

Great hotel, very good rooms and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast included and had a great selection. About 10 minute walk from the metro and 25 minutes walk from the main town. As it was my birthday my wife arranged for a cake and the hotel also gave us a three bottle of champagne! Would definitely come again.

We are back at 1 year's distance and I can only confirm my positive experience. New, modern, cozy structure, cared for in detail. The bed has even two types of pillows, feathers or wool. Good location Excellent location, quiet and two steps from 2 Bistro not bad.

Centrally located, high quality and tastefully furnished rooms with good facilities, friendly staff, sensational good and extensive breakfast! And the boss of the House shares with guests his private DVD collection (player in each room).
Only the air conditioner does not regulate the temperature fully-automatically. After the staff had moved to heating operation in October, there was only warm air – no matter what temperature you set. With an open window, however, this could be regulated.

The staff went way over the extra mile for us, everything is clean and new, the breakfast is amazing and the free water and coffee is a life saver! The evening bar has great beers and delicious cocktails. The room has the best blackout curtains I have ever seen!

Palazzo Zichy is a marvellous hotel. The friendliness and quality of service is just great. Breakfast is something that deserves a special mention — the best in the city!

Tiny room and not necessarily well placed. I had chosen this hotel for the building and I come back very disappointed. Good breakfast.

Great hotel. Stayed only one night. Forgot phone charger and were kind enough to ring me that I had forgot it. Two days later they let me drink coffee for free while they searched for it. Also gave me a box of chocolates when I checked out.

Excellent location just outside the larger Ring street and walking distance (if you're a walker) to everything. Excellent, comfortable rooms (with DVD collection). Very friendly staff and traditional European hotel buffet breakfast.

Very nice hotel! the staff is really kind and friendly. The breakfast had a wide choice, variety from cold to warm choices, pastries are always fresh baked. Even though wasn’t offered a coffee machine in the room or water, from the morning to 17 hrs. You can pick up these drinks in the bar area, all for free. The only strange thing and a bit uncomfortable is that the blanket was wrapped between two bed sheets (they used the bed sheets as a cover of the blanket) so if you move too much in the middle of the night the big blanket is outside the ‘cover’ a bit of improvisation there as it is normal to have a cover to protect a blanket. Rather than that was a really good experience, it is clean, great location to use public transport and plenty of restaurants around.

I can't speak too highly of this hotel. Firstly we got a room for a very reasonable rate. The room was quiet, clean and well appointed with a spacious bathroom including a walk in shower. Various toiletries were provided and the shower was fully adjustable and easy to use. The buffet breakfast had a long serving time and there was a very good selection of different items to suit different tastes and dietary considerations. The thing that made this hotel stand out from others we've stayed in was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. This goes beyond hotel related things, & includes ordering taxis, booking restaurants, giving the best routes by public transport to various places within the city etc. The staff on reception speak perfect English and most of the other staff in the hotel understand English as well. They seem to do their utmost to meet any requests for a certain type of room if requested. If you prefer a room with a bath it's best to ask when booking as most rooms have showers. The hotel staff take pride in the appearance of the hotel and were very quick to resolve a problem in our room (caused by me stumbling and pulling the curtains off the hook). The one thing the hotel doesn't provide is a kettle & tea/coffee in the bedrooms but we took a travel kettle and our own supplies (there is a fridge in the room).

A fantastic experience at Hotel Palazzo Zichy. Staff friendly, professional and helpful — rooms lovely, breakfast good and with enough to keep vegans happy. Sauna and relaxation area also really nice. Highly recommended and hope to return!

If I go back to the Budapest, since then he would return to this hotel. And if a friend asked me for advice, 100% recommend it. Perfect in everything!

I stayed here during a second honeymoon through Europe. It was a trek to find the place to start with, but after that first time, it proved to be a handy place that was walking distance to much of the city. The suite we had was exceptional, with everything that we could have hoped for. The breakfast room was busy, but the staff kept everything well stocked so it was still easy to get our day started. The reception staff knew so much in the way of useful tips — we were after nice restaurants, and were pointed to a place that has been a fond memory in the few years since we were lucky enough to go.

New and stylish decor, clean and functional rooms. Main complaints are spotty Wi-Fi, bathrooms that don't offer anything in the way of sound-proofing, and a breakfast area that can feel positively chaotic (too many people, not enough tables) on a busy weekend morning.

I have stayed in January 2014 and was very satisfied.
I can not record any hits, and among its benefits Indian as follows: good location, modern and stylish facilities, good beds, clean, breakfast very complete and well run, staff very friendly and efficient.

We were looking for a reasonable hotel for out first trip to Budapest and this more than exceeded our expectations. The rooms are very clean with a large walk in shower in the bathroom, where there was also twin sinks. The room was a good size, even with an additional bed for our daughter. Wifi around the hotel, and indeed the city, is very good, as is the free access on the desktop computers in the business area. (Printer and scanners to). The breakfast offered is absolutely fantastic, with hot or cold buffet, and even sparkling wine to mix with a fresh orange juice available if you so wanted to. Although there is no coffee making facilities in the room, there is a self serve coffee machine in the lounge area available all day, together with still/sparkling water and nibbles. All these facilities (including a fitness suite) and the superb breakfast are gelled together and presented by a great team of staff. Friendly, professional and willing to help with various requests, whether it be local restaurants, sites, transport, etc. I travel quite a bit, and the value, service and facilities provided are superb. I have always avoided staying at the same place twice and sampling different cities. But this just may be the one exception. I would, and look forward to staying here again.

Really modern, but nice Hotel. Staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are not huge but big enough. Only negative point if you want to find one is that breakfast is only until 10:00.

Great hotel go's way more then it's writen on the website, the service was excellent in every way, we got help with where and how to go and what to find, the staff was very nice, friendly and profecianal, the place is very quet but still two steps away from everywere, looks amaizing from the outside and the inside. Overall pergect :).

Four stars do not do justice, at least five! Impeccable service, location Central, facilities in perfect condition, everything works and is of premium quality. Breakfast excellent, definitive one of the best hotels in Nice that I have stayed in.

We liked, everything clean, perfect, just as one might wish in a hotel of this class.
