Very helpful staff that went out of their way to help and make our stay more enjoyable and eaiser. A very simple check-in process, clean rooms with A/C. Small rooms, but adequate for a few days and totally acceptable given the price. Excellent, safe location next to a metro station and tram station. Lots of restaurants and shops near by. Hotel has a (paid, but cheap) drinks machine too.

Overall a very good experience. Hotel is very close to Oktogon as the name suggests and a very short walk to tram lines and the subway, Budapest is an easy city to navigate and travel around. A group of three people stayed for five nights and all the staff we talked to were very helpful. This is a no frills hotel, my small double room was compact and it was not "serviced" during my stay, there is free Wi-Fi which worked well but as you might expect, you do have to pay for use of the TV and an extra pillow. My only issue was that the window was difficult to open and the duvet was not really large enough. Overall for the price you pay this is an excellent hotel choice for a City capital with just the two small comments above, well worth considering if you are on a budget.

A quiet, minimalist hotel, like.

Budget number. Plastic toilet and shower cubicle. Televisions are extra for 7 euros a day. It's a great location.

Service ultra minimum, reception not Super warm, it depends on who you welcome. The rooms are not very clean and hyper small, a lot of dust and hairs in the bathroom, not even a small plastic Goblet to rinse their teeth, no maid service every day, good considering the low price of the room OK, but hey. TV that doesn't work.
Fortunately there is good bedding and it is well located in the city.

There's all the essentials. Location.

If you like sleeping in a shoebox for 50€, you will like it. This place is highly functionnal and has no pretention than just providing you with a bed and a shower. Located in a quiet street. It is very convenient for an early train from nearby nyugati train station.

If you rate it against other hotels of a different spec you might give it less stars. However if you’re booking this hotel as somewhere to put your head down at night then it’s pretty good. 24 hours reception, good quiet location just off the main intersection. Walkable to everywhere if you’re willing to walk a fair distance. Metro stop nearby if you’re not. Room is small but clean and simple. My only complaint was air con panel didn’t work and it was advertised as all rooms having air con and heating but reception told us that they don’t do air con until May.

For the price of the rooms this is fantastic, staff are very friendly and rooms are clean.

The hotel is one of those which can be in any city of any country. The interior brand and colors a tad bit too flashy. Regardless, the services are quite ok, except the fact that some things like room cleanup and similar ones are for fees. All in all, a good hotel to sleep at. Nothing more.

Everything is said in the name-just a hotel. The staff was very kind and the price was very high. Not a bad economy class hotel. The entire infrastructure of Budapest is within walking distance.

Cheap cheerful perfect location for a Budapest break as younger couple. Plus sides aside. Found a few hairs that weren't ours in duvet and our room didn't get cleaned for 4 days. (duration of the stay) ran out of big roll :L. Would've used the duvet but it was already dirty.

Well located hotel with Wi-Fi. Small but functional room.

Great location, very quiet. The room is small, clean, smells tree) at the reception desk you can order a taxi to the airport at a very reasonable price, the staff is friendly.
Not very good quality of towels, and generally I compact shower modules are not very zhaluyu.
TV channels only in Hungarian.
Hairdryer and other computer for a fee.

It's a little wider than the Ibis hotels. The attention is very good and has everything you need. The price-service ratio is very good. And the location is very good.

I like staying here and will continue to stay here when I'm in Budapest. The staff is competent, helpful and friendly. Room and bathroom are clean and fully okay.

To put more advertising blankets, we lasted almost half a day to find it, taking into account that the people of Budapest is too gentle and informative (I'm being sarcastic), I found it by sniffing system almost… and no Ching…

Location is very good, but rooms are a bit small… yet not a bad place.

Cheaper than many hostels, this hotel has basic amenities only, but is clean, the staff is friendly, and the bed was great (140x200 cm)

Friendly staff But this is not enough because the room is very small, it does not come. Clean and it wasn't even changed the bed because C were hair everywhere. The phone in the bathroom is not there. On the other hand it is close to everything, it is reached by means any place of the city.

Hotel offers very basic services but it is very clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a comfortable place to sleep while spending your day out this is your best bet!

If you're out all day and you're just coming here to sleep, then it's ok. Too much luxury cannot be expected. But the location is optimal and therefore there are not only 3 stars.

Minimal Hotel But with everything you need for one night. Very clean Hotel and very good location. Recommended.

It is a low cost hotel, you have to know where you are going and what you pay. The rooms have just the right to sleep and shower. That's what it's all about in these hotels. If I go sightseeing in Europe I always look for this chain, private room for two with bathroom inside at hostel price. The staff were very polite and helpful. They left us tourist information of the whole city.

That you put blankets and not Ching…

Amazing place. The people were really helpful with pointing where we could eat and what we could visit. The room was small and cozy.

Good clean place. Good location. For anything you need extra than the room, including here TV remode, internet etc, you need to pay extra.

Very very small rooms. Air condition does not go off.

AC pretends to work and windows dont open… when we asked about the ac the only answer we got was that we need to close the windows… overall it was a horrible experience in extremely hot weather. I do not recommend that you go during the summer months. Furthermore, you have to pay exrra charges for basics such as clean towels and to use the TV (not mentioned anywhere beforehand) Lastly, the free Wi-Fi advertised is painfully slow and is only good for messenging. You have to pay if you want decent Wi-Fi. However, I must add that the staff was friendly and helpfull and the place reasonably clean.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I was there leading 3 gropus of kids and they were very patience with everything. AC and Wi-Fi is not the best but besides everything was clean and location is great.

Super small room. Bed wasnt really made for 2 persons. More like for 1.5 persons. Bathroom was inconvenient. When you shower the water gets everywhere and the toilet was extremely close to the wall which made it very unhandy. Plus you have to pay extra for everything. Good working Wi-Fi? 10 euros a day. Cleaning your room? 10 euros. TV remote? 5 euro a day. The only positive was that the location of this hotel was ideal. 2 minute walk to the nearest tram stop which gets you to the metro in 1 or 2 stops which gets you everywhere. If you are out sightseeing all day this hotel might be for you but if you want to relax in your room from time to time I wouldnt recommend this hotel at all.

EasyHotel is basically the LCC (low cost carrier) of hotels. Imagine Ryan Air as a hotel. Basically, your nightly rate gets you a small, comfortable enough room to sleep in. No housekeeping service, no real amenities, no useable Wi-Fi, no gym, no pool. Nothing. Some of these things are available at cost, such as housekeeping and fast Wi-Fi (there is a free network, but it is quite literally too slow to use). In my opinion the Wi-Fi was reasonably priced, and I bought a 3 hour pass for a few euros. The location is great, being close to some sights and right next to stops for both the Metro (M1) and one of the streetcar lines. Both times I stayed here I found my room to be clean, the bed comfortable, and had no issues with noise. The staff are young, but bilingual and extremely friendly. Basically, if you are low maintenance, you can save money and still have a comfortable stay. It's a great midway alternative between a hostel and more expensive hotel experience. If you like amenities, go elsewhere.

It was a very nice hotel.

Plain and simple hotel… maybe a little too simple. Close distance to all the local amenities. Staff are very friendly and welcoming answered all questions! Feel like they need more in their rooms in the facilities.

Konumu cok guzel. Sadece uyumak ve sicak su icin tercih edecekseniz guzel bir otel. Tek sorun verdikleri örtü hobitlere göre biz insanlar icin cok kisa. Calisanlar cok guzel yuzlu ve yardimsever.

Central location, lovely staff and great prices. Only letdown is the lack of free Wi-Fi. If you pay this cheap of course you won't get a fancy hotel experience but it's great for people on the go that don't plan on just hanging out in the room all day.

Here you get a plastic box instead of a proper room. Not even a chair to put down your clothes on it. They make you pay even for sh*tting. Terrible place to avoid.

For TV you must pay extra, no bus parking, staff extremely small rooms, in double room only 1 pillow also don't know where the bus can park,

A hotel that define this hotel is so much already. It would be more appropriate the term hostel. That's not even a good one. I signed a paper in haste that anyway there wasn't specified, after I was charged before you even see the room the figure of 49 € for a single night. It was held in a small hall in which there was practically nothing except desks. After paying the hostess gave me the key to finally go up. The door open I didn't believe it: a room the size of a cell in a cloistered monk. A room of 2 square meters (not exaggerating trust me) where the bed took up almost the entire room and bathroom set in a space 50 cm to 1 meter wide. Not only that but the bed was a Queen. Only problem: I paid for a double. In that room we stayed in 2. I try to turn on the TV but the TV will not turn on. I'm going to complain and despite my intermediate level of English the girl tells me that now I paid and signed and I will return the money, that's a double room despite its size, the TV turns on for a fee (not grunted not satellite), which also noted that despite him on the door the price mentioned was of € 29 and I had paid € 49 was completely normal because it was peak season (beginning of April —. —). That being said I paid without having received that I was given after explicit request before leaving the opprobrium of hotel the next day.

Do not recommend this hotel. The hotel was new and very clean, but als rooms are tiny and overwhelming and staff leaves much to be desired, there are much better accommodation in Budapest for the price which is worth more cheap hostels that best are even.

Very helpful staff, clean, quiet and comfortable room. More spacious than Earls Court easyHotel if you have been there. Location is good.

Having checked out from a Luxury Collection hotel in Vienna, I was rather apprehensive about what would await me at budget class easyHotel Budapest Oktogon. However, my worries proved to be unfounded as I had a very pleasant two night stay at the hotel. My room was pristine clean, albeit on the small side. However, with the amount of money I was paying, I wouldn't have expected very much more. The Oktogon metro station is a comfortable 5 minute walk away and there's loads of eating places nearby. The room was nice and toasty even though it was snowing outside. Safe, clean, manned by friendly and helpful staff. What more could one ask for.
