It is a fantastic location in the center. A lot of cafes and restaurants around markets. Many lights at night in the streets. An amazing view through my room… very good breakfast. Wide and comfortable rooms… but it is not quiet … l asked for a quiet room they gave me in the third floor it was noisy. I recommend the high floors… the stuff is not cute at all… they gave you the feeling that you are not welcomed … the bath is small. But it has a strong and a hot water which I enjoyed…

Great hotel with probably the best view you can get in the city. Great hotel bar, excellent breakfast and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and comfy, beds are Marriott standard but rooms are fairly smallish. Well worth a visit though.

The hotel is with good service and perfect location for sightseeing. The outview over the river (especially durong sunset) is wonderful. Room is spacious and the food in the restaurant is tasty. Nice to walk around the hotel and to the nearby tourist attraction.

I had Breakfast 2 times, food was amazing, server Kristyan was very helpful, I liked the way how they treat the people, at the evening time I had some cocktails wich made Adam (If I remember his name correctly) he was super attentive and really good salesperson. Good job, keep going, Oh I remember security who was standing near the door he was so cute and fluffy that I really loved him, all in all you made my trip guys ❤️

We arrived this afternoon and found the hotel very nice and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful and the view from the room was very nice.

Good location and efficient staff as my husband dropped his credit card accidentally after checking in but was found by housekeeping in the lobby. Naturally we were worried and nearly called the credit card company to block. Then the staff tried calling our room and left a message on the TV screen where I saw it. Then we went to the front desk to get it back. Breakfast buffet was absolutely great with a good variety. Only setback is there’s no swimming pool.

The building looks terrible, of course. But inside it is very, very beautiful. I recommend staying here — what only is this view from the window on the Danube and on Buda. It's just unforgettable. I definitely recommend to check in.

This has the potential to be a 4-star hotel, but it currently isn't. Customer Service: While the lounge and rooms are very modern, the staff has horrible customer service. With the exception of one gentlemen at the concierge desk, everyone was unfriendly or just rude. Based on all the raving reviews, I'd been expecting the complete opposite. Cleanliness: There were several pieces of long hair in my tub. Also, there were brown stains on the bathroom floor (probably from all the water that drenches the floor during a shower because the shower door is useless). Noise: I could hear every move, every toilet flush, every word from my neighbor's room. Additionally, the late-night partying on the river sounded like it was right outside my room. Needless to say, I had trouble sleeping. I would not return to this hotel.

Excellent executive lounge with an amazing view. Sparkling white wine at breakfast and solid spread of food. Happy hour / horderves boasted full bar with liquor two types of beer, and multitude of wines. Many of the wines are local and we're not our favorites, but the beer and liquor were great. Spread of cold in hot food including cheeses and many good appetizers. I would definitely consider this enough food that you could consider it a full meal. Rooms were solid, updated and had nice views. Good location though a more touristic area as to be expected with Marriott. Easy walk to many city center sites like The Budapest eye. Right on the river. Picture below is from the lounge deck on the top floor. We have been to many International Marriott's and would stay at this one again.

My favorite place to stay in Budapest and then I visit please call me and give me located in central do the best you can walk anywhere in quite quickly. It has an amazing. Marriott Hotels great food and drinks in the afternoon while you're enjoying the view of the river and the castle.

This could easily be a 5 star hotel as claimed with a little attention to customer service. The same set of dirty dishes that were not ours sat outside our room for 3 days despite promises from the front desk to have them removed. Worse was our experience in the lounge. Our credit card was not requested when we checked in to the hotel. The first evening of our stay we had drinks and ate in the lounge and charged the amount to our room. We walked out and were embarassed to be chased by the server and manager saying we hadn't paid. These experiences will make us think twice before staying at another 5 star rated Marriott property. This was probably our only visit to Budapest and our hotel experience lessened our enjoyment of our trip.

We can’t be happier with our experience in the Hotel. Judit, in the front desk, gave us a very warm welcome and she was extremely helpful with everything we needed. We were wondering if we (my kids and I) were going to be treated as a gold member considering my husband redeemed his points for us. It was so nice the fact that they not only gave us all the golden benefits but they also gave us a suite with a very impressive view of the city. The executive lounge was beautiful, very well equipped and with a lot of different tastes options. In general the staff was particularly friendly under my experience in Budapest.

Spent two nights at this amazing Marriott Property. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is as well. Beautiful spa area and the executive lounge has the most amazing views. Great location to everything. Thanks to all the staff and especially Jenni. Will be highly recommending this hotel as well as hoping to come back someday, not enough time to explore this amazing city.

On the Danube most rooms are river facing and have interesting views as the building are lit at night. I felt that the concierge desk is charging almost double compared to other offers for a boat cruise on Danube. The hotel is closer to open market which a good place to visit.

Good service, but olia to the pool, the sweets of the entrance are disgusting and the bell System to enter is fatal. The only problem is that we played a fat winged choni not let us sleep, but we spent his towel for the eggs and the world is balance. Service 10. Watch out for the Hungarians that go crazy.

Beautiful view to the river and very attentive staff. Had a wine and tourism convention there and enjoyed many of the facilities of the hotel. Location is good and rooms are big enough and very clean. I will definitely come back.

Very updated hotel. Lovely views of the river, bridges and castle from my room and very clean. All the staff were also very nice, knowledgeable and friendly. There was some construction going on while I was there but it started after I left the hotel and stopped before I got back at the end of the day. I only heard it on the day I slept it but that didn't take away from my experince of the hotel. It's also centrally located and no more than 10 minutes away from almost everything worth seeing in the city centre.

Five star hotel from the late 1960s. Well maintained and completely refurbished. Very good location. Directly on the Danube.

The staff were a very inviting, accommodating and quite attentive. Not just the front desk but also during breakfast and late night stops at the bar for coffee or drink. The breakfast was delightful and feeling. The day we checked out the hotel kept our bags for us so we could run around shop for a bit and when we returned they helped carry bags Down to garage, validated our parking so we didn't have to pay extra.

Right on the Danube River with newly renovated rooms overlooking the water and the famous Buda castle and walking distance to many of the famous sites in the city. There is a conference location with sweeping views of the river and castle. Restaurants are well done, as expected for a nice Marriott hotel.

The Busapest Marriott Hotel is a 5 star luxury hotel located in a central location right on the banks of the Danube with a beautiful view over the promenade and the Castle district. The rooms are modern, the bathroom is spacious and clean. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant is rich and varied, the chefs prepare hot dishes such as omelette, egg dishes, etc. To.
The food in the restaurant was very good.

In seminar mode. Very good performance including the technical delivery of the room. Meeting with a view of the castle. Very nice breakfast The Business Lounge is nice but turns into an annex of the restaurant in the evening, all audiences and all ages which makes the concentration for teleworking complex.

This was by some way the worst hotel experience that I have ever had. No exaggeration. When I arrived at midnight I went to my room to find a half eaten dinner tray on the bed and towels on the bathroom floor. I called down to reception and they moved me. At 8.30am the following morning hammering and drills started from rooms above that I subsequently found out were being renovated — this happened the following morning TOO! I complained and was offered a complimentary breakfast instead of moving me to a different room. Totally shattered by the end of it and will never stay in a Marriot hotel again.

Excellent location. Good views and attentive staff. Only one street down from the main shopping street. There’s also nearby parking. Fairly good value for money, but the lifts are painful, slow and intermittent. The wait in the morning can be an endurance test. Breakfast buffet offers everything you could want.

Amazing Property overlooking the Danube! Had a fabulous Valentine's dinner at the Peppers Restaurant. Chefs are amazing & the Service is out of this world. Congrats Rick Enders & the A Team, you are what hospitality is all about. God bless!

Beautifully located on the Danube I'm the city center of Budapest. The hotel has a great terrace overseeing the castle. The rooms are spacious and clean. Good restaurant. Great gym.

Nice view, spacious rooms but cleanliness and poor facilities. Staff with no interest in guest satisfaction and bad organization of staff. Good location Surely the 4 stars are only given by the location and size of the hotel. I think they are better than 4 stars in Budapest. I'il try something else next time.

I'm only giving 4 stars to a 5 star hotel because they don't provide complimentary mineral water to hotel guests. However, service and front desk staffs are very attentive, helpful and friendly.

It is a great hotel in Budapest which is located on the banks of the Danube. All rooms have Danube view and believe me, when it's night the show is insured. Wi fi free, safe, mini bar, large room, bathroom in the middle of the category, also present steam iron with ironing board… only flaw, for a hotel of this category, the lack of the slippers. For the rest, services, cleanliness and staff we are at the top.

Prime location for a hotel in Budapest, just across the river from three major tourist destinations. We had on of the newer rooms. Comfortable furnishings, our favorite was the sitting area right next to the window with a great view. The staff at the hotel are friendly, and willing to go the extra mile. There is a lovely restaurant and bar next to the reception which is prefect.

We stayed at this hotel during a business trip that I was able to bring my family along for. This hotel was centrally located in the heart of Budapest, right on the Danube River. It has amazing views from the room as well as the Executive Lounge on the top floor. The breakfast bar had a great spread in both the hotel restaurant and in the Exec Lounge! They even cooked eggs to order! Top marks for their hospitality! We traveled with an infant and the staff was very professional and helpful with all that entails. The concierge assisted us in getting a taxi with a baby car seat, helped us book a dinner cruise and gave us directions to some local attractions & stores. The gym was very nice, they even had trainers and massage therapist available to assist you! Their was plenty of equipment (and nicely spaced out), a hot-tub and both a sauna and a steam room! The only downside that I can think of was the lack of a pool in the hotel. This hotel has a very nice restaurant and bar attached as well as plenty of conference rooms for events. (We had an amazing steak while we were there — it was a little pricey, but worth it! ) Our room was very spacious, clean, had a comfy bed, and they even provided us with a baby crib at no additional cost. Despite being in a foreign country, everyone spoke English and we never had an issue trying to translate anything while we were there. Honestly, this was a wonderful hotel and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Budapest!

Very good food and nice atmosphere however my main came after my dinner partner had finished her main. There was no explanation and barely an apology. It ruined the starter experience. When I tried to get the waiters attention he motioned that he will come soon and then proceeded to serve other tables, organise glasses and avoid eye contact. When I tried to get the attention of who I thought was the Maitre D, again I felt as I was ignored. I was very close to getting up and approaching him for a complaint. Late starters can be excused, however I would like to eat my good with the people I'm dining with, not after. And we were not given an opportunity to voice our displeasure on that part of the meal. Saying that, the rest of the service was very good and warm and I have no complaints about the food apart from perhaps too much salt, however that seems to be a trend in all the restaurants I went to so is most likely to be due to my personal taste. I did get a feeling that my experience is a one off but not the norm, however they did not handle the situation well at all. Otherwise, the meal was good.

I just payed a quick visit helping a bride getting ready. The room was clean, had a great view. Did not have much time to experience the customer service, but from what I have seen it was quick.

Fantastic hotel set in the middle of Budapest. Room was as expected with great views of the castle. Had access to the lounge terrace with even better views — I even recognised a TV show that was filmed here. Hotel staff were absolutely amazing — cannot speak highly enough. Hotel restaurant was good — no need for room service. The only downside I can think of is that there was a little wait for taxis. I'm used to staying at nice hotels around the world and this is one of the best!

A superb hotel in a great location. This hotel right on the Danube and yards from the chain bridge is upscale but reasonable in price. The 9th floor executive lounge open until 12 is a great place for a snack or drink and has a wonderful patio which overlooks the Danube. Rooms are European sized but full of all amenities you will need.

The money you pay for the value you get, including, perfect and very convenient location that saves you a lot of cab rides and hassle, so as amazing breakfast buffet and very helpful staff are much worth! If I go back to Budapest, it is needless to say, where I am going to stay.

Great hotel and great location, close to the main tourist area and with a beautiful view on the river. We stayed there on winter season and got an excellent price. We will come back whenever we have the chance.

I attended an International meeting held in the hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is in one of the best locations in Budapest, is very clean. Together with my colleagues (all together we were 4), we decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant after arrival. In addition to the main meal we ordered a bottle of wine. After having a nice meal I signed the bill asked to charge it to the room. I did not realize that I haven ´t received the copy of it. The biggest shock I experienced after I paid the invoice when I chcecked out. The account I had allready paid was incorrect. I paid for 3 bottles of wine instead of paying for one bottle. The final amount was 50% higher than it should be. Fortunately the time of ordering and payment was marked on the bill. I spoke to the restaurant manager who accepted my complaints and he laughed after hearing one of my arguments if he can imagine how would look like 3 women after drinking 3 bottles of wine in less than 50 minutes. Honestly I have to say the manager repeatedly apologized. Even though according my opinion such an annoying accident is not allowed in 5 star Hotel Marriott.
