It was a great stay and experience. Best river views and facilities provided by the hotel. Staffs are very friendly and especially the receptionist who gave us all the assistance required. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Lovely decor (would love if it was original art nouveau but Im not sure). Amazing view of pArlimentRy buildings Ate once in restaurant — def recommend / delicious and reAsonable. Location bit out of wAy for bars and restaurants but greAtocal public transport system makes very eAsy to get Round.

The rooms are spacious enough for a boat. Very clean the receptionist was very helpful with information and transportation. You are allowed to leave your luggage in storage after you departure if you have a late flight or train journey. The only problem is the inside Windows were dirty with cobwebs and bugs. I totally understand the outside windows but inside really. You have a bonus of the House of Parliament if you have the riverside rooms. Absolutely awesome. The view in the evening is amazing, romantic and serene.

Very nice hotel located on a boat. Be prepared to accommodate in quite small cabines, but enjoy their comfort and the original situation. Parking place in front of the boat (spots mainly to be found starting in the evening). Pay attention if you arrive as a pedestrian as it is on a high traffic road. Pragmatic staff. Annoying Wi-Fi (with up and downs). Breakfast is really amazing 8

Lovely hotel in a good location. Away from the bustle and easy access to everything. Two baths are very close by.

The rating depends what expect. The big advantage is free car park. Roof floors which has a city view, are good but the basic floors are really bad (ceilling low, housefly, moist, airless). I advise only the top floor rooms. Also, the terrace floor is joyful.

It was an unexpected that the original Grand Hotel Jules we booked upgraded us to their partnership hotel MS Maribelle due to the hotel technical reason. We were glad to have this upgrade opportunity. I would like to praise the staff oh the hotel. They are really helpful and warm. Especially the receptionist young lady Ms. Zita. She is amazing staff. She is really provide service from her heart. She tried her best to help us to get the taxi. She help us to change a double bed room since my fiancé and I were assigned to a twin room. I would really love to come back to this hotel again due to all the exceptional service. Great job!

Stayed there 3 nights. Had a wonderful experience. Very clean rooms, good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. I arrived at the hotel a couple of hours early, but I still got a room. Beautiful views of both sides of the city, with a direct view of the Parliament building. Within walking distance of most tourist attractions, and within walking distance of banks (for foreign exchange), a supermarket and the bus / tram / metro train stops. They were very forthcoming on the prices, and there were no hidden costs. The bar area has an open deck, where you can sit and smoke, and drink beer while enjoying the evening view of the Pest side of the city. There's also an open roof. Overall, a great hotel with great staff!

Excellent value floating hotel situated almost opposite the parliament building. Nice rooms, great views and friendly staff. A little away from the centre but very close to the nearest underground station. A good base for visiting the city. Breakfast prices convert to approximately £10 pp which I thought was reasonable value for a buffet and a gentle start to the day.

Friendly and helpful staff, neat cleaning and view (of the rooms facing the Danube) amazing!
The shower is small and with the tent but functional; The room warm, cozy and livable! Very well served by public transport.
Recommended especially for couples.
Only flaw: lacks the restaurant service that would allow you to have the No plus ultra!

A really high quality boat-hotel. Rooms are a bit small, but unfortunately the bathroom is really small. The breakfast is rich, the view from the restaurant is beautiful.

Perfect view and clean rooms. Of course this is boat and dont expect biggest comfort but thats not idea here. This is perfect romantic place. And one more important detail — parking is free!

The hotel is nice, very clean, comfortable beds, and in a pretty good location — just opposite the Parliament on Buda side. It was my 1st time staying in a boat hotel and was quite surprised with how cosy it was. We had a deluxe room so had a bit of space and a lovely view. Staff was friendly, but we had one issue: leaving the hotel we asked the reception to call us a taxi to the airport, and when it turned up it was one of those freelance cabs, not authorized by the government, which are widely discouraged as reknown for scamming passengers by charging ridiculous fees. We didn't get in and asked the girl at the reception to call us an authorized taxi. She eventually did but we had to discuss with both her and the driver why we wouldn't get into the unauthorized taxi, which wasn't a pleasant situation. We felt sorry for the driver as he was probably in good faith, but after being scammed ourselves from Budapest freelance taxis twice we were not going to get into another one. However, we never expected a 4* hotel to call unauthorized taxis. So just make sure if you require a taxi that they'll call you one from an authorized company.

Nice hotel moored on the Danube, with excellent view of the parliament building. A good breakfast offered. Access is a problem if you have a wheelchair or pushchair or small children. Rooms are small cabins but they work. Good value short walk from public transport.

Clean bathroom and toilet are too small.

Nice experience, but not very customer friendly. Room was not made… it is now 16:30… let's see if anyone ever comes. TV possibility is given, but unfortunately only Hungarian channels (despite several questions one does not know if it is possible to receive other channels too… you do not get taken seriously. )

In a cabin of a ship, to stay in front of such a backdrop, offers already a special ambience. It doesn't matter that everything is a little tighter. Service and breakfast were also great. Dinner's fine.

View window crazy! Only good impressions! Not very good soundproofing, well it and is clear — the boat and for the same reason, noisy vacuum toilet. But the stars do not shoot, loved it!

Staff very friendly and small care. Clean room with a wonderful view of the Parliament. Only downside, access from the tram rather complicated with luggage (stairs, paving stones, obligation to make a detour while the stop is right in front…). I recommend!

Those who have lived on the sea for more than one day know perfectly well that the interior spaces are cramped. But the outdoor spaces and the view are spectacular…

On river hotel. The rooms are on the boat in the river Danube in front of the Parliament house which was golden in the nights and white in sunny days. The food in the noat restaurant was good enough for my late dinner with the local beer Krusovice (Cerne & Svetle)

Location is good, the view from the rooms is magnificent. Only on thing that upsets me. In the bar you have to literally walk to the bar and order your drink, otherwise you are invisible.

Best accommodation when you're planning to visit Budapest. You have 360 degrees view of the city and the Danube River. Price is very reasonable for the location… make sure you get the deluxe river view room. Don't expect a fancy room and toilet. Everything inside is basic — no coffee/tea maker and fridge, but water bottles are provided daily.
Staff are lovely and speaks English well. I found the bar quite expensive. I didn't get breakfast package for €10/person. I think it's too dear for a continental breakfast.
You can bring your own bottle and drink it on the top deck with the beautiful 360 degrees view of the city.
This boat hotel is highly recommended. If ever I come back here, I'll definitely book this one.
Renting a car is not an option if you're only travelling around Budapest. Traffic is bad in this area. Get a day pass — very useful and cheap.

We decided to stay at the hotel after reading many enthusiastic opinions, unfortunately we were disappointed and unsatisfied with the stay. Even though hotel is facing parliament, the view is enjoyable, the location isn't that good, to the majority of interesting places you can't go on foot. Room was nice, but quite small, the shower was tiny. Standard of the hotel was average, not even close to four stars, as it is claimed. The room cleaning isn't thorough, the sheets weren't changed for four days, even though we asked for it specifically, they changed it after two days, only because we requested again. The Wi-Fi isn't working properly. When the air conditioning broke, from the reception desk we received the information that now it will be only heating the air in the room, as cooling the air is no longer available. Breakfast was tasty and with variety of different products, although when there were more guests — during the weekend — the service couldnt manage to clean the tables, before another guests came and glasses and plates were missing. To sum up not really what we expected.

The view is great, but you should get the river view!. No luxury :), cabines are small, shower is tiny but hot water. Good experience. (for allergic people, you may have some trouble but it was worth it for me :) ). One more thing: location is not that good, far from interesting areas…

Great place! The view is magnificent, the upper part of the ship has this big chess playing part and sunbeds, you can take your drinks fom the restaurant downstairs. The rooms are clean and nice, breakfast great and they have a good menu for dinner. Great place, would always come again!

This is a great hotel which makes you experience the sea side of things if you pay alittle extra you'll be in store for a treat as you are facing the parliament and one of the bridges which connects to pest and Margaret island the only thing is that there isn't a restaurant on board. In the rooms there is no mini fridge or tea or coffee etc but they do offer a sewing kit and a shoe shine kit as well. Though the place was lush I did find some of the staff quite rude towards me (I'm a black female) hence my reason for 3 star's. I hope this review was helpful. Happy traveling.

Fantastic views of Pest and the Parliament, when you book a room on the river side. The room offers everything a City traveler needs. The Breakfast is good, but not exclusive.

Super location on the banks of the Danube, it has excellent links to the public transport network in Budapest, the Parking is free at the Hotel, the rooms are small trip but very clean and fully ok for a city, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We were lucky with booking room with the view on the river and parliament. Clean rooms, room service daily, fine breakfasts, everything was really fine!

Hotel in a boat on the Danube overlooking the parliament but if you don't catch the room face the views are to the road. It has its charm and the staff of the café is charming and the breakfast good.

Rooms bit small, but clean. If you have room to side of the river, is very beautiful. But if not, you're going to want your windows closed because the parking lot is less than 10m from the boat!

Clean, great location, good access to Metro and S-Bahn, excellent view on the river side, the room small but nice, furnished, Only 4 stars because the Breakfast ok but the air upward, and the gentlemen at the reception were a little grumpy impression.

This is a budget hotel so some degree of 'roughing it' can be expected. Good breakfast although slow on some days, clean rooms and lovely views. On the negative side the rooms were quite noisy with the engine sounds and other guests. The reception staff were mostly pleasant, had great language skills and were really knowledgeable.

Romantic, staff is friendly and smiling. But it is not enough. Being a boat the bathroom is small and shower is small, but the essential is there and it serves its purpose (if it works). The problem of the bathroom is the shower with the curtain… Unfortunately I can't put 4 stars for two unpleasant drawbacks: a morning in the hydraulic system of the WC nautical was not working for maintenance and we were not advised. The cleaning of the room and change towels, the following day, not executed. For the amount paid and the stars, which make a fine show if it seems to me exaggerated.
