Location is good, cabins very wells for price, staff is not well trained in customer service.

No. Something goes wrong with some people from the staff. It is not an inclusive hotel. They are prepare to treat people with special disabilities, I mistreated.

Excellent drinks! The service was great.

This resort provides a rustic experience of no phone or TV in the rooms. There is no pool but you have the ocean as calm as calm can be. Staff is so friendly that after a few trips, you become family.

Go find Brent at the Amazing Roatan Adventures desk at the resort. Super friendly and helpful! He booked an island ATV tour for us. Great excursion! I definitely recommend him and his tours.

What a great place to enjoy beers and then swim in the beach. They have it made there — with Ian Macintyre and 2 others.

This place. Just amazing. I’ve returned for almost a decade. Simple. Jungle — best location. You can literally walk to any other bar, restaurant or hotel as it’s right in the middle of west bay. The staff is amazing. Always there to help you. We had a group of 9 and they accommodated absolutely everyone with every little need — even helping one of our diabetic friends get insulin delivered. So amazingly sweet. Also made the covid tests easy breezy for us before going home. Bananarama is just… phenomenal. Always the best.

Was our first time Feb 3-13th 2020 and cannot wait to go back it was the best time all around… Couldn’t ask for better staff and food.

Great staff. Lots of fun and security is pretty good about enforcing the merchant encroachment zones.

We only stay for couple of hours, enjoy the beach chairs for 10, — a person, they have they own security, so you can leave your stuff on the chairs and go for swimming in the ocean. It was nice there.

Great beach resort and bar-restaurant with music and entertainment. Great local band and fire show. Plus their Sunday night crab races for local charity. Unique food items including fresh fish and smoothies as well as alcohol are available. There is space for dancing in the evenings, and plenty of local activities are available right off the beach in the daytime.

Great place, fun, relatively good music. Food and drink are expensive. But it's all relative. Beautiful beach, best snorkeling in the Americas by far just a 3 minute walk down the beach. I'm not kidding. It's unreal. My only complaint is that they continue to serve plastic straws here. If you didn't know, plastic straws are a real issue in the ocean with sea turtles getting them stuck in their orifices. I know it's strange, but it's a real thing that affects the protected turtle. I wish businesses would take the initiative to protect their own backyard. Bananaramas hasn't gotten to the next level yet. Maybe soon. Please if you use this business ask them to convert to paper straws.

The server was great! We came here for the crab races with the kids. He made sure we had great seats. Even moving us when a better table opened up. The pizza was average but the whole fish was excellent! The fire dancers was an added bonus.

We love visiting Roatan in general, it has the best snorkeling and diving you could ask for. Walk out the door of Bananarama, swim maybe 100 yds and you are on the second largest barrier reef in the world. The staff at Bananarama are very pleasant and helpful — especially waiter Dijon and Security Officer Javier!

Reasonably nice beachfront restaurant. Chicken and rice special and the pizza special which had sausage were good and tasty for $30. The rain dampened the spirit a bit, but the place was equipped well for it.

During our excursion our guide lead us here. We were very pleased at the beautiful beach. We also felt very safe with the security that was provided. The food is good and reasonably priced.

We booked a condo room but then paid to upgrade to a beachside room. When we checked in for our 8 day stay we were not told the unit above us was under construction. We were woken four days at 7 am with construction. After the second day we talked to the manager who told us it would end that day and she would give us"2 free drinks. " Neither happened. Construction continued two more days and no accommodation given. The three restaurants were top notch! Above most on the island. Service does go slow everywhere so don't be in a hurry. Jen at Detour Roatan was very good to work with. We had a bad excursion experience and she made it right! I would have given more stars if they would have accommodated or acknowledged the construction…

We loved the resort. We went scuba diving every morning for two dives! Patrick was the best dive master! It was comfortable in our hut, clean and private. The food was yummy, especially loved the western salad, it was spicy quinoa! The drinks were great and it is super affordable. Loved it all.

One of my favorite places on the island, the brick oven pizza and calzone is my favorite. The sea food is great too. The view is great, the live music is fun, and on Sunday night's, the crab races and fire dancers are sooo much fun!

Had dinner at Vintage Pearl. The food (tuna steak), the service and the entertainment was excellent. It is indoors… I wish they had tables outside too for those that want to enjoy the view.

Lovely relaxing and comfortable on the beach. Hammock on the deck fully equipped kitchen and onsite restaurant and bar. Great place for family and couples.

A very crowded place with good live music. Good bar service.

Had a great time at Bananarama. Stopped there for a couple hours after doing the Fun in the Sun tour from Victor Borden Tours. Beach was great had a massage, food and drinks.

Sandy beach, clean water. Vpoone decent food and cocktails, prices are reasonable. Bad that a lot of people and cramped, the beach is narrow.

This is a great place if you wanna stop and get some food on the cheap. The food and a drink specials are very good and the entertainment at night is sometimes Very entertaining.

Laid back small resort has the right balance of throwback 90s and cash on the wall beach deck soiree mixed in. Grab a beer and your beach chair is free. Perfect to escape from the midday sun but the real deal is happy hour. 4 stars for now with an easy shot at 5 when the sun goes down and the entertainment starts. Free Wi-Fi with purchase but only for 2 hours. Credit cards accepted!

It is a very nice place sea Kristalino nice white sand beach etc.

A West Bay classic with friendly laid back staff. On Sunday night they have "crab races". Often an interesting musical act. Fun place to go with a group. Fire dancers sometimes perform here (they are amazing). Service is good. The location has dedicated security to make sure everyone feels safe (which it very much is). The food is reasonable. Part of the heart of West Bay and has more character than the bigger resort bars. Some locals go here and this gives it more of a community feeling.

Amazing place the view is very relaxing, water is crystal clear. BEWARE: there are alot of vendors, buts thats the issue at all the beaches. There is security on site. Security was friendly and helpful. Dont let this stop you from visiting. I cant wait to go back.

The pizza is delicious and their family meals are very affordable. Wait staff was very polite and orderly. It's a nice place to spend the day and the views are great.

My husband and I were satisfied with Bananarama. It is fairly priced for the convenient location on West Bay. Rooms at Bananarama do not have televisions, which was disappointing, especially on the days when we got too much sun and just wanted to relax in the room with the AC on and watch a bit of TV. The rooms are a good size, equipped with a seating area, bathroom and separate bedroom. The beds are stiff and the pillows are thin. After 3 nights here, my back ached from the beds. The walls are also thin. We heard our loud neighbors through the walls at night. The food at Bananarama is fantastic! We were very pleased with the food options and the food specials each day. The complimentary breakfast for hotel guests each morning was also delicious! The service in the restaurant on our first day was excellent. The servers were attentive and served us quickly. By the 4th day, the servers were much slower at getting around to serving us which became annoying. Overall, a decent stay for the price. My husband said he would stay here again. I, on the other hand, would try other hotels along the beach first.

Always a great time! We stopped at Bananarama during our second trip to Roatan and were thrilled with the great service once again. A great place to hang out and on a beautiful part of West Bay. You can walk down the beach to a great snorkeling spot, or take a small boat just off the beach to incredible reefs teaming with wildlife. During our visit in Sept 2017, our waiter Victor was friendly, helpful and attentive, making our afternoon at the beach very enjoyable. The kids enjoyed the chicken fingers and we enjoyed the rum punch! Their cruise day packages are fantastic. Did their zip lining and beach package Dec 2016 and had a blast. The zip line course was about 10 stages and absolutely awesome.

PROS: LOVED this location on west bay-the beach wasn't too crowded and there wasn't too much boat activity in the water. The rooms are large and the restaurant has great food. The staff was nice and very helpful. CONS: Beds weren't the comfiest and the rooms are a little outdated.

Best dive shop on the island, small fast boats, great service… What else could you ask for? And the restaurant is great too, please try the curry it's simply amazing.

Very nice and relaxing. Nice menu and pricing for dining. Clean beach. Security. Extremely clear water. Water taxi. Snorkeling. Fresh vendors come around.

Stayed here in their off-site condo location for a week. I loved this place. Their service and location is amazing. Any time there was an issue in the condo, they were on top of it very quickly and everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Everything from before even arriving on the island to when we were leaving was fantastic. My only gripe is with their main restaurant, Thirsty Turtle. The food was really just average and the service was almost non-existent. Every single server and bartender seemed miserable, except one. Victor was great. We ate off resort most of the time just to avoid this and had much better experiences everywhere else in this regard.
