Good, but very close to the road.

Lovingly styled rooms in an old-fashioned way. Very clean and hygienic. Very helpful and friendly pension owners! No breakfast and located in front of a main road — but that should be known in advance of booking! Good prices for Santorini level.

The pansion is a family owned business housed in a place that belonged to the family for generations. First of all, we need to thank the couple, Irene and her husband, who run the pansion. They are the nicest, most helpful people we met in a while. We were picked up from the airport for free (a taxi would be between €15 and 20) and had a very warm welcome. Irene also explained the island to us, gave us an island map and bus timetable. Also, they organized the Quad rental for us. The list of things they did for us could go on much longer. We had one of the smallest rooms in the pension and it still was very spacious. The bathroom was rather small and had a bad smell to it. However, we are not sure whether this is the fault of the owners or not. In our room there was an AC, a fridge and kitchen utensils for breakfast, which we used daily. We didn't have a mosquito net like some beds in the pictures do. That's why mosquitos were a real pain to us. It would be great if they could provide something against them. As for the street noise, we closed the windows during the night so that the street was only a quite background noise. That you can reach the city center only via the busy street is not true. We used the small walking paths through the neighborhood, which was extremely nice and only took us 10 minutes. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay, and for Santorini this is the best value you could get for the money you pay.

I can't understand all the one star ratings either, maybe a lot has changed since last year. Yes, it is located beside a busy street, but the windows and doors do provide soundproofing, as my girlfriend is quite noise sensitive and we could sleep well. Irene is one of the kindest persons I've ever met. She helped us wherever she could, let us stay even after checkout as our plane delayed. Her husband picked us up and brought us to the airport free of charge, price reduction at ATV rent, free parking space to name just a few. I definitely recommend this place!

I had a great stay here, the negative reviews are completely exaggerated. The rooms have everything you need and are spacious/comfortable. The location is good enough if you're on a budget; as it's only a brief walk to the town centre. As for the noise, I stayed in the street level room and didn't have a problem with noise at all. People need to understand that they're booking in the busiest part of Santorini and that nights don't end until the next morning. The best part about the place was that Irene was the sweetest person ever; she waited for me to arrive late at night and made sure that I had everything I needed for the next day. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay for me.

Good comfortable accomodation within walking distance of all the sights of Fira Santorini.

A great place to stay in Santorini, great value for money, Irene and her husband are perfect hosts. Irene organised our tour to the Volcano, and gave us great advice on where to visit and the nicest places to eat.
You are in a perfect spot to explore the rest of the island, and only 10 minutes walk from the Caldera where you can watch the wonderful sunset.

This facility has minimal accommodations and is located on a busy street with tons of traffic. The diesel fumes and terrible noise from the heavy traffic go 24x7. The heavy trucks and gas tankers make the windows vibrate day and night. Walking to downtown Fira is quite dangerous due to poor lighting and absence of sidewalks. We had an entire army of mosquitoes in our room. The windows do not have mosquito nets. We could not rest at night. The ear plugs did not help as the noise was overwhelming. The location of this pansion is a bad joke. We absolutely hated it as it ruined our stay in Fira.

This is by no means a 2 star hotel. It does not meet the basic criteria set by the EU: •Breakfast buffet •Reading light next to the bed •Internet access in the room or in the public area •Payment via card •Body wash or shower gel at the shower/bath tub •Linen shelves •Offer of sanitary products (e. G. Toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving kit) It does not offer breakfast, body wash or sanitary products. It only has very basic accommodations and a lot of noise from the street day and night. All in all is a very poor lodging choice.

This is an extremely noisy place located on a very busy street. Heavy traffic: truck, gas tankers, scooters, ATVs provide a high level of exhaust fumes 24X7 on top of the noise. No toiletries provided. I had to go to the store to buy a soap and shower gel. The bathroom is small and has a sewer smell. The absence of a shower head holder make it difficult to take a shower. Single pane windows do not filter the unbearable noise at all. You will not be able to sleep a single minute at night. No window screens — plenty of mosquitoes. Small courtyard where the smell of car exhaust prevails.
