East Crete Hotels

One of the best options for family holidays in Makry Gialos. The rooms are super clean, spacious and the facilities are one of the best set up you can have (laundry, dish washer).

Absolutely amazing place, Katerina is the best! The rooms are so clean and tidy, the staff are so friendly and helpful and Katerina is always there for you.

Had a wonderful 2 weeks at Villea village the staff are so lovely and friendly. The breakfast is so good and Chrisoula is so lovely and friendly. The gardens are stunning and the pool area is lovely.

Beautiful relaxing chill out resort, good pool plenty of sun beds, good breakfast and pool bar facilities.

We had a lovely week at this resort in Oct.
Very organised on arrival, a buggy took us to our room, which was a deluxe sea view.

We stayed here with teenage children and older parents.
Brilliant location on a beautiful cove. The design of the hotel is superb and the rooms really nice.

My husband and I stayed here for one week in mid October. The hotel is stunning and so amazing to be on the beach. The staff were incredibly helpful, kind and friendly.

I had a wonderful stay at NUMO Ierapetra Beach Resort. From the warm welcome at check-in to the consistently friendly service throughout my stay – everything was pleasant and highly attentive.

If you are looking for an escape that defines true luxury, care, and flawless attention to detail, the Six Senses Spa at Elounda Peninsula is an absolute must.

Our family holiday at Elounda Peninsula Luxury Resort was honestly a dream from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, my husband, our two girls, and I felt completely looked after.

Lovely, quiet and peaceful.
Rooms cleaned regularly and fresh bedding.
Friendly staff and very helpful.
Nice pool, close to restaurants and bars, shops etc.

Everything is as in the pictures. If you like it, then you get a pure bonus of the hospitality of the hostess Filija and the owner Mr. Manolis.

It's just a perfect place to relax in full peace. It's a family ran place with 7 appartements in the middle of a field of olive trees not too far away from the main road but enough to be in peace.

Good hotel. Very friendly staff. Nice rooms with a small kitchen, Balcony to sit on. Only downside, the shower is a bit small.

Actually arrived at thus hotel a week ago today. Don't let the view from the front put you off. It's lovely inside. I'm in room 401 it's a lively big room with a TV and all you would expect.

The room was top value for money — no complaints at all there. The owners greet you with wonderful hospitality, and encourage you to eat there.

Nice apartments with balconies in the wonderful village of Kritsa. Run by a family. There is a fridge and Wi-Fi. Simple but good breakfast costs 9 euro (October 2025).

The Oleanders Garden exceeded all expectations! From the very beginning of my stay. I was greeted by smilling and frriendly staff, re ady to help with any issue.

We had two wonderful weeks at Oleander's garden! The owner and his stufe were wonderfull and helped us every time we needed something. Very clean and calm! Thank you!

It was an unforgettable experience, and I truly enjoyed every moment of my stay. The hotel is wonderful — stylish, beautiful, and very thoughtfully designed.

Fabulous location with a stunning view.
We were up on the 7th floor in room 702.
Amazing view over the Port and the Mountains.
Free parking at the Port, just a few minutes walk away.

Every review you read is correct, this place really is wonderful.
We woke up the first morning after arriving late, stepped onto the balcony and literally gasped at the view.

We arrived on Tuesday by ferry, having visited Santorini before, making this our fourth visit.

On Kolokytha’s quiet edge of sea and stone,
Where light feels softer than anywhere I’ve known,
Elounda Island Villas becomes more than place—
It becomes a breath, a rhythm, a slow embrace.

Amazing villa in a very premium location, Lukas and Panagiotis were very helpful and honest on their suggestions. We really suggest their breakfast! It was our favourite accommodation in Crete!

We stayed in a family suite with access to the garden. The hotel’s concept is to offer a Cretan village experience, and the buildings are designed accordingly.

Amazing! We would recommend to both adults and children. A little piece of paradise. Our stay here felt like a wellness retreat with lots going on for the whole family!

The hotel was clean, and most of the staff were really helpful and kind. There was enough comfortable sun-beds at the beach and at the pool area.

I highly recommend Tylissos Beach Hotel to anyone who is looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation in Ierapetra, Crete.

Had fabulous holiday with family at villa plori. We love visiting here owners Lena & Manolis have the best set of studios right on the beach centally located in the lovely village of Makrialos.

It has been several years since we visited Villa Plori but nothing has changed. The same beautiful accommodation right on the beach and the same warm welcome from Lina and Manolis.

We stayed at Villa Dio Petres for two amazing and tranquil days. The location is perfect, offering a stunning view of Mirabello Bay.

A 4 rooms hotel, in an excellent location above the Mirabello bay, 800 meters from a lovely village which has 3 very good restaurants.

One of the most beautiful places to stay on Crete! The hosts are truly caring and had so many great recommendations for the area, the people of Makry Gialos are so welcoming and proud of their place.

Don't miss Natura Cottages. Its a magical place close to the beach and the mountains. You step out of the compound and have easy access to beautiful nature and hiking trips.

The most gorgeous hotel, we didn't stay here but my partner proposed to me here. The grounds of the hotel have a gorgeous view of the sea.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! From the minute you arrive you realise this is somewhere special.

Great "mountain hideaway" Judith outside Ferna on one side and Galini on the other.
Access to the hotel is via a steep incline.
There are 8 villa/apartments so a small scale (which we loved).

Our stay was fantastic. The staff were great. Loved the little beach down the hill. Breakfast was wonderful.

The apartments are clean and decorated to a high standard as is pool area. Staff are amazing very friendly and helpful. Less than 2 minutes walk to beach.

Loved my stay here…family were staying in a nearby hotel and I wanted to be close… spacious room with fantastic high power jet hot tub, great shower, big comfy bed with quality linen… coffee machine,

Service is excellent. Breakfast-in-the-room is a luxury, generous, inventive and served on time. The apartments are luxuriously fitted but not too large.

We enjoyed our stay at the Suites. We chose the Pearl room. There was an effort to vary the breakfast items that we had every morning, served with a smile.
