Review of Apollon Hotel 3*

Let's start at the beginning. I cannot stress out enough how beautiful and calm the location is. Apollon Hotel is ideal for those that are looking for a silent rest, and a busy summer night in Tolo at the same time. Close to the city center (super market and even a doctor are a few steps away), one step away from the beach, with a big parking able to accommodate multiple cars. This is the first impression, and it only gets better. The staff is absolutely fantastic, the cleaning staff is excellent and even left us new towels in shapes, one being a dog because they knew we had our dog with us. Yes, Apollon welcomes pets, and allows them around the pool, with the umbrellas being safely screwed on the ground (very important). The pool bar is open at great times. Breakfast has a great variety and good quality. There are over 6 different kinds of homemade jam from fresh local fruit, and you can easily enjoy a vegan breakfast as well, since selection is wide. Filtered coffee that has good taste and excellent service complete a good breakfast. (Please note that the staff serves breakfast during pandemics such as covid-19, and they always wear masks while doing so) Rooms are exactly what you need. Air conditioning, a TV if you need it, fridge, nice mattresses, clean sheets, polished bathroom, and most importantly, the cleaning staff is discrete (as well as creative, as noted above). I need to point out that Dimitris, the person responsible for Apollon, is a fantastic person, who can — and will — recommend only the best things to do. Just for experiencing hospitality as provided by him, I will not say anything about available places nearby. He seems to be doing research every day, to suggest only the best from everything (even similar restaurants that one is great in the noon, and the other at night). This is one of the best places I've been in Greece, and I've traveled the whole country since I was 8 years old (33 at the time of the review). Hands down a fantastic base in Tolo to stay and enjoy every moment of it. ps. The music of the pool is at great levels exactly what you need, and doesn't bother the rooms at all.
