Santa Rosa Hotel & Beach Hotel

Simple hotel but with excellent beach and good bar service. Perfect for relaxing and swimming in the sea.

The Santa Rosa offers pretty much everything the modern traveller could want, with the possible exception of a strong plumbing system, which I'll get to later. Rooms at the Santa Rosa were compact but by no means cramped, although bathroom size varied between the two rooms we were staying in. One of the rooms had a larger bathroom, whereas the other (pictured) was slightly tighter. The shower is powerful but the shower curtain should probably be a bit longer. Wi-Fi and air conditioning are where this hotel excels. Wi-Fi was strong and reliable throughout the hotel. Although not remarkably fast, it was perfectly acceptable. The air conditioning was able to cool the room quickly and effectively and made sleeping in the Santa Rosa a pleasant experience. Each room is a equipped with a fridge, which proved extremely useful during our stay. The rooms were clean and presentable, but it was not entirely clear how the hotel's plumbing system worked. One of our rooms had a little sign which appeared to indicate that toilet paper shouldn't be disposed of down the toilet, but the bin in the bathroom was the only one in the room, which seemed to be an unpleasant arrangement. Worse still, the bin in the other room had no lid, although there was no signage against putting toilet paper down the toilet in this room.

We stayed for one night on our journey from Skopelos to Istanbul. The bed was comfortable. The fridge worked well, the air conditioner was fantastic. The shower was brilliant, the room was quiet though rather small. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Santa Rosa is a very basic hotel that is really designed as a beach resort on a day basis, but it was excellent as an overnight stop close to the Greek border with Turkey. There is no restaurant but the bar snacks were fine for us. Breakfast was simple but pleasant. We would break our journey there again.

Beautiful quiet, private complex, right on the beach, with a garden and play area for the little ones. Suitable for all ages and not overcrowded. You will always find a parasol with sunbeds. Prices for drinks are cheap and for the little hunger there is also something.
The rooms are clean and newly renovated. Unfortunately a little small, about 12-14 sqm.

Great place, we visited the cafeteria, it has a wonderful view, right next to the sea, very friendly and kind staff, our baby had so much fun!

Wasn't what we expected… didn't get offered breakfast, the shower was absolutely disgraceful! Not to go back even in the summer.

Also good spot for (smaller) camping cars in the garden adjacent to open beach.

Small rooms and bathrooms, 3-4 of the rooms have no window — actually the windows looks at the restaurant, no air at night, big noise during the day. Breakfast is poor, it is not worth the high price.

Location is perfect and the beach is beautiful. Bar prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly.

Bad beds, very small rooms and bathroom is very small the business becomes an adventure you come across with the knees on the wall.
Sea and berths otherwise good.
