The hotel is not attracted to 4 stars, on good 3 — yes, but not on 4. They are fed quite scarcely and not always tasty, compared to other 4-star. At the arrival of the woman at the reception all jokes with the Greeks joked, and we almost ignored, but more, thank God, this was not. I don't know about the others, but we had a problem with shampoo and shower gel — when cleaning it, no one was going to give it to us. And when from received on the day of arrival 3 shampoos and 3 gels (rested three) we had 1 shampoo, we went to talk to the cleaners, after which we were given a whole guest of everything that is possible, and we did not steam the rest of the holiday)
From the fireworks: once we defrosted the refrigerator (apparently, during cleaning hit), a couple of days in the room smelled of sewage, and the toilet worked through once (water in the tank was not collected). The plumber could not cope with this difficulty — came 1 time, after half a day everything worked, and then again went to one place)

Excellent holiday. Good food, friendly staff, nice pool and patio. The only downside was the mosquitoes at night. — go prepared!

Very nice and clean rooms, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. Entertainment was also very good, spent our evenings in a hotel doing variety of things, hotel's evening programs were always fun. The food is so so probably the only one minus, but we never were hungry, even though it wasn't much variety of food we always could find something to eat. Amazing view from the hotel terrace, would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you Alexandros for such a lovely family holidays, will definitely come back one day!

The hotel corresponds to three stars. It's a stretch. The food is repetitive with no particular choice. Towels change only if you demand. The rooms are old with a horrible faded carpet. Cleaning rooms is bad. Nearby beach with an unruly sunset water (stairs).

Could be a really nice hotel just a bit tired in appearance which is such a shame. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Spend a little money on this place and it could be a real gem. Some rooms have great sea views. Beware though this hotel is part of the main flight path both arriving and departing.

Terrible and monotonous food, but a beautiful pool and a pleasant garden. The option is only suitable for overnight accommodation, and otherwise travel around the island, cheap and angry.

G. But complete. Especially the description of a convenient location relative to the sea! Turn people, it is not necessary to give their money and get a puddle called a pool. Disappointed.

A cheap and cheerful holiday, excellent staff in all aspects, bar staff, waiting staff, cleaning staff, reception staff. Slightly rural location, but excellent bus service 50m down the road. Slightly limited food choices, but food in general is good… For all the moaning mini's on here… We are in Greece… Expect Greek food. Rooms cleaned daily Excellent entertainment staff Pool is temporarily sectioned for small children.

Hotel listed as 4 star it is actually a two-seat pension you are no, poor food in choice and with much recycling… No beach and no proper maintenance!

The hotel is no where near a 4*. The staff were very friendly. The cleaning was okay. The food was one way. There was only one type of fruit served throughout my holiday. The only good thing was they served drinks till 10pm. There wasn't any activities organized for the children. My return flight was 10pm and they asked me to stay in the waiting area from 12noon with my daughter. I wasn't pleased with the way they treated me and I will never go to that hotel again.

First amazing lovely staff very nice people and good customer service but hotel. we were miss sold this hotel they said it was 4 star and that probably was right when it first opened back in the 80's. The most dirty, tired, disgusting and frankly inhabitable hotel on earth. We were all inclusive the food was horrendous unless you like chips or pasta with tomato sauce. The rooms were disgusting and so dirty and old, nothing worked in them and the carpets were so stained there was little to no point taking your shoes off. The pool area was dangerous with uneven stones around and the water had so much chemicals in it looked like a health hazard. The pool entertainment was a old ping pong table which had holes in and there was a dart board connected to an old basket ball ring it was a joke. The bar was a rip off as they charged for cocktails which was basically the same as what you had for free just in a fancy shaped glass with a straw and slice of orange. The lifts looked like death traps which you could only just fit 2 people in and at any moment could crash down to the ground I literally said a prayer everytime we got in them. Overall the hotel needs pulling down and building again as it's a hazardous area not only safety but for health reasons I feel like I need some vacations just in case.

We booked a cheap holiday and got what we expected. The hotel was a little dated in decor but the rooms were large enough and the children enjoyed the bunk beds. The bathroom was large and clean although the hot water did seem limited to a morning but we were there in the first week of opening so that might be better at other times of the year. The food was plentiful and a nice mix of Greek style food with some familiar English extras. Vegetarians may find it tricky to always select food but I'm sure if the hotel knew they would be able to provide a suitable menu each day. There were limited facilities but we knew this before arriving. The pool was cold as it had only just been filled but the area around the pool was a pleasant place to sit and relax. The staff were helpful, friendly and would go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. They really made the holiday! On site the is a small shop which had some provisions or a slightly bigger shop was a few yards down the street. There was also a car hire company on site with a very friendly owner who was extremely helpful when planning trips. The bus stops right outside the hotel for Corfu and Benitses (the closest beach — pebbly). Overall a hotel that was dated in decor and some facilities but made into a nice place to stay by the lovely staff.

Bit out of the way and not a beach in sight if you want a quite different holiday then it's fine not a lot to do in and around the hotel, Staff were very helpful pointing out places we could visit so you have to make the best of what you got.

Stayed a 1 night stay since late on the ferry from Corfu. The Deaf sanatorium of the USSR Times is a paradise. I haven't seen anything worse in my life. Even tea norms were not. The food is absolute nesedobnaja. One plus-the girls at the reception.

In a one horse town with limited entertainment, but pool, bedroom and food/drinks package ok. This is a cheap all inclusive which makes a good base for Benitses, Corfu Town and the rest of the island. A really helpful Geordie holiday rep in the shop by the bus stop. We had a great time. Staff helpful, but some guests still moaning despite paying £200 each including flights, all inclusive drinks and food in June.

Not given them top marks, as there is an element of fawlty towers about it! When we first arrived, we thought, what the heck is this place? However, bear with it. The staff are great, and friendly if you give them the chance. The facilities are a bit basic, but then, this is not the Ritz. Meals can be a bit hit and miss. It is relatively clean, the beach is within easy reach (although it's a bit of a climb down) The bus stops just outside, and they are cheap and regular. If you are plane spotter, this is heaven. They are close, but surprisingly not too noisy. There are a couple of restaurants almost next to the hotel, places to book trips and a supermarket. You are only a short walk from the causeway across the bay too. Once we settled in, we actually enjoyed the holiday, and it's quirks gave us something to talk about with other guests. At the end of the day, it is a cheap all inclusive without the rowdy element, and is kid safe. We had a happy week there. Thanks to the staff too for the effort they put in.

Well. Where do I start. Food was good. Limited selection but it was always tasty. Clean rooms. Clean hotel. Clean pool. Polite members of staff. Worth every penny. Thanks alexandros hotel for a lovely time ☉

Rooms were uninhabitable; no hot water in room for length of visit despite asking for it to be fixed multiple times, sheets were dirty, was given a towel that was literally ripped in two, room was unclean in general and felt like a prison cell. This was despite paying for an upgrade. Food was almost inedible, very bland and unappetising to the eye, checked every day yet only ate in the hotel once. Bar staff are the only reason for 2 stars, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. I feel sorry the way the hotel is run around them. Not a 24 hour bar.

This is the biggest shit I've ever seen. Interior design could date back to Pablo escobar's years.
As far as the eye can see in the room mold.
The food is as bad as I swear at my moose dead from the food I got stomach intestines.

The Rooms clean And Roomy… But let's Itself Down with the Food… Not Hot Not Varied … Very. Poor. Plates Cold. Do not come Here fully Inclusive if you like your food…! Out of the way of any Restaurants And Tavernas … The Town of Benistas is a Bus Ride away much Better… .

Food was basic, rooms where lovely and clean. Properly the best part of the hotel. The pool was green, and to get to the beach you need to go into another hotel, wouldn't come back but had fun.

Again another hotel claiming 4* when it's near 2*. That said the room says large and clean, with a good balcony. The breakfast however which is all I ate was a bit of a let down. The pool area looked clean and a good size. The area is very quite a couple of treverna and that's it. No real beach nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpfully they have helped push it to 3* over 2*.

Alexandros Hotel and its new management is the best place for your buck. Here is why: 1) Accommodation is very welcoming and staff is super friendly. 2) The pool is always clean and with plenty of sun beds and pool bar. 3) As for the buffet, the food is plenty and delicious. The ´all you can eat' menu changes every day. Great way to taste the greek food. Free bar is open until 11pm. 4) There is close by beaches within 5min walk. However If you are looking for sandy or rocky beaches the closest ones are at 10 min by car south of the island. NOTE: I recommend renting a car from the hotel as it will be useful to visit the beaches as well as the town, wich is magnificent. To easily navigate, You may download an offline map of the Corfu island from Google Maps and use it with your smart phone for free.

On our last day at the hotel. This is the first holiday I have taken abroad just with my daughter after a relationship split last year and I felt very safe and looked after. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel. Is dated and could do with updating in some areas but with Air conditioning, very comfortable beds and a fridge in our room we were happy. The food is the same every day but was very good. We were all inclusive and drinks were included … local brands but not watered down. It is on the flight path of the airport but it was part of our holiday watching the aeroplanes and it is only 5km to the airport! I would come back.

The hotel certainly needs renovation, I would have cleaned the carpet, which lies in the hallways and rooms, it smells of dust and dampness. Opened the door to the balcony and dried the room-smelt less. But we had a posh view of the sea that very skrashivalo our stay. But we are lucky, for example, family rooms overlook the back side of the hotel and look at the garden and rooms 314-315 are located above the kitchen and the trash.
The beach at the hotel does not have to go to a nearby hotel by steep enough stairs and across the road that makes the turn and the cars are poorly visible.
Plus Hotel Location: A 10-minute bus ride takes you to Kerkyra. It is also possible to walk to the dam and the Cape Canons, where there are attractions. There is also free parking near the hotel, the car can be rented directly from the hotel.
The food was very good, the breakfast was very good and the room was very clean.
Delicious ice cream and fruit. But the cheese was only one option-as a curd, and another as a plastic gave for breakfast.
The place has almost no infrastructure except one minimarket and two points with excursions and car rental. And the hotel entertainment is only in the evening and then not every day. The children's Club in English, and in general in Russian at hotel staff does not speak, but the hotel has free Wi-Fi and we used the translator.

The staff are fantastic but the food is a let down spent more money eating out than on anything else and I'm not picky.

Food is like modern day school dinners — greek style. Not much rotation/choice but hotel is clean and our 'sea view' room had a great view of the sea. Staff friendly enough. Considering the economic state of the country, I couldn't have asked for better services for the price I paid. If I'd paid any more, I would be writing a completely different review.

1) Nice 1970's built 80 bed hotel,. 2) We stayed for 4 nights in late April 2016 and enjoyed the pool and got badly sunburnt. 3) We got shot to hell with mosquitos, who seem to come out of mosquito valley (in front of the north facing balcony). 4) The staff are great, any problem, you should ask. 5) The free bar staff seem to feel the commercial pressures more than the receptionists. 6) Alexandros is on the Number 6 bus route to central Corfu. 7) The planes come in to land past Alexandros but take off 5 miles away. 8) No complaints.

SCAM CITY/ PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL We arrived at the hotel from a late flight on Saturday the 14 of June. I had booked two family rooms with a sea view which I paid for. What we got was two small rooms with two tiny beds in each. I immediately went back to the desk to complain. The night manager said that they don't have any family rooms available. The night manager then said we have a suite available for one night. It was not a suite it was one family room that they put two small beds in the living room area and called it a suite (there was no separation of rooms) no privacy at all. So for four days into our we were offered two tiny rooms with cot like beds or stay in the suite all of us and one bathroom. On the 4th day we got a small room across the hall with no sea view. Also the suite we were given had the smallest balcony due to it being on the corner end. I spoke with the owner who was extremely rude and nasty, telling my wife that if she did not like the food, leave and go to another hotel. The food was so disgusting that my step daughter and grandson got severe diarrhea on Wednesday after eating dinner. The lunches were recycled leftovers from the night before, no snacks as was advertised. Basically the whole place was a scam, which is sad because the island itself was wonderful.

June 2014… stayed here for a week with my husband, arrived a 1am had to find our own way to our room, the fridge was empty not even a bottler of water, air con not working, bed was like a concrete slab and so were the pillows. No entertainment and no atmosphere in the bar area, Wi-Fi so slow unless you pay for it and TV in room was a waste of time! well the food, dont really no what to say, same breakfast every day, powdered scrambled eggs, beans franfurter sausage, tomato cucumber cheese and ham slices, after the first day we did not stay for lunch, but the evening meals were very repetative and the choice was very poor. No where near enough sun beds around the pool, and the mosquitos were a problem, and there was nothing in place to try and deter them, hotel is a long way from town, no beach nearby so having to rely on buses or taxis. So unfortunately this is not the best experience we have had and would not reccommend it. Definitely not a 4 star as advertised!
