It is a very characteristic place, full of historical ideas. It is also full of shops to shop for local products and clubs to eat, at very good prices.

Amazing staff very helpful and friendly and rooms are great. Breakfast is really really good.

We stayed in the Superior Suite Sea View Queen on our honeymoon. It is on the third floor, in the corner room. The balcony has great views of the sea and the fortress. It was our favorite hotel of 10 total in Greece, Crete and Santorini. Pros: Great views, close to city center, clean and modern room, comfortable bed, amazing breakfast with great vast selections, friendly and accommodating staff (Michales and Xena were fantastic), black out shades and curtains, great A/C Cons: None at all! Upon check in, they asked if we had any allergies. When they found out my wife has 21 food allergies, the restaurant staff went to the store to buy her food that she is not allergic to, so that she would have a good selection for breakfast. Wow! I wish I could go back, and will if I have the chance to again. Highly recommended!

It's a wonderful place to rest! You have everything you need in your own room, a very varied, modern, classic, Típoco Greek and Standard bar! Complete! The Hiegene is perfect! The breakfast is amazingly varied, abundant and of quality. Particularly they were extremely hoapitalarios with Noaotros and gave us a welcome sparkling wine for our wedding! Also, if you get a room with a direct view of the sea you will not want to leave Porto Veneziano. The. Surrounding area is eminently Gastronómoco and strategically located a few kms. Of the most emblematic beaches.

Picturesque hotel right on the Old Venetian harbor in Chania. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Even the rooms that do not directly face the water have a view of the lighthouse. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance and you can walk right out the front door to the lighthouse. Ideal location — parking too!

This hotel is beautiful. Tucked away in the corner, you have access to all the good eating but not all of the crowds. The breakfast is delicious. The rooms aren't spacious — just enough for two people — but are very clean and comfortable. Very nice place to stay.

This was our first visit and could not speak more highly of the hotel. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel room was spotless with a lovely view of the harbour.

Wonderful Hotel. Very helpful, friendly staff. Great location on the water in the old section of the town. The hotel staff arranged our hike to the Samaria gorge and car rental. The breakfast is super and lunch box provided for our hike Highly recommend.

One of the best breakfast buffets I've seen in my life, made me look forward to waking up each morning. Great view of the harbour, very efficient/kind service and pleasant rooms. Definitely worth it just for the breakfast though! Fancy coffee machine, orange juice machine, pastries, variety of fresh breads, Greek yogurt, fruits, salads… nearly anything you could think of.

Excellent couple nights, very pleasant & helpful staff, very clean, comfortable, large variety Greek/European/English breakfast, own small car park (~15 cars) which they will shuffle around for you if blocked, all round excellent value.

We stayed here in 2010 and it was wonderful. We are staying here right now, in 2017 and the remodel and upgrades have made it even better. Location, views, service, staff, rooms, breakfast, food, bar are all awesome. Would highly recommend this hotel to stay in Chania. You can walk to hundreds of shops, restaurants, and sights or take a bus or boat to many other sights.

This hotel is right on a picture perfect harbor. The service from virtually everyone of the staff is top notch; they make you feel like family. They helped us plan our days in Chania and had good advice & suggestions which made our trip a sincerely memorable one. (Tip: If you go to beaches, ask the front desk for beach towels. ) The day we checked out, the owner came around from the desk and greeted us goodbye. So genuine! The rooms and beds are ultra clean, that you can feel it to the core. The room is also very well lit with many options for lighting. Although the rooms are a cozy size, you have a nice balcony, and everything you need. The breakfast buffet has a variety of delicious and authentic foods. The local cheeses were so delectable and also my favorite. They also have a fresh juice squeezer that made some tasty orange juice on the spot. Aside from the amazing harbor, you are in a prime spot with the best restaurants, coffee shops, bars, shopping, and the bus station all within walking distance. The experience at this hotel was wonderful. I would definitely stay again and again.

Look no further than this lovely-size hotel right along the inner harbor. The staff was very kind/accommodating, the hotel in perfect condition and the complimentary breakfast was out of this world (homemade orange juice machine, cappuccino/espresso maker, Greek yogurt/honey station, etc…). There is free parking on-site. Do, however, be aware that driving in Chania is more challenging than anticipated with narrow roads, traffic + fierce local drivers.

Stayed here a few times, mainly out of season. Excellent, comfortable rooms, breakfast is well presented and the staff are always helpful. The bar staff are especially good at providing cocktails and snacks doing the day and evening.

Good location, on the harbour front but away from noise. Very clean hotel and really friendly staff. Bar prices reasonable. Good breakfast with sitting out on harbour front on fine days. The hotel has a small car park and there is a large free car park about 5 minutes away if the hotel c/park is full.

I will highly encourage anyone to stay in this hotel. Splendid value for money. Clean and well maintained rooms are matched with attentive staff. The buffet breakfast was great and the wait staff were so attentive and professional. Not a bad thing to say about his cozy hotel. They really made my stay in Crete a memorable one.

Nice hotel on the edge of the old town next to the old harbour. Super service. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel. Everything is clean and well maintained. Daily cleaning of the rooms. The breakfast offers a good choice where everyone can find something for themselves. Fresh orange juice so much you want to.

This hotel was inexpensive (late-season) and had the perfect location right in the Old Harbour. We walked into this hotel the night before we needed to stay there, and they had really nice rooms for really cheap (

What a surprise. The hotel was amazing. We had a room with a view of the Harbor and I will always remember having my morning coffee on the patio watching the sun rise over the harbor. Absolutely stunning. The rooms were very modern, beds were comfortable, everything was immaculate and beautiful. The staff was wonderfully friendly, they helped us organize our trip which was great. The breakfast was amazing, extremely fresh and great coffee. Overall I had a great stay and recommend this place to everyone.

Well situated away from the busy cafe and restaurant strip, yet within easy reach of them this is a clean and spacious hotel. The staff are super friendly and the harbour facing rooms have amazing views.

Beware of card scam at this hotel. On the 12 January 2012 I paid for my accommodation with my credit card. The amount was processed twice and a credit was supposed to have been done for a total or R3384.88. To date (4 June 2012) I have never received this credit. I did contact the hotel on my return home in January and was given an apology and an offer of a discounted rate if I return to Crete. Small compensation for such a large amount of money. They also informed me it was not their problem, I must sort it out with my bank. In spite of constant follow up with my bank I have had no success due to the fact that the hotel must accept the charge back which they are not doing. Sad, sad, sad.

Ideally located by the sea, ten minutes walk from the center of Chania Crete, with excellent view of the old harbor, clean room, polite staff, rich breakfast buffet, with excellent cappuccino and freshly squeezed juice from Cretan oranges. It is one of the few hotels in Greece that have invested and have modern central air conditioning system (heating-cooling) based on geothermal energy. Well done to the owners that maintain environmental sensitivities.
