Dionyssos Village Hotel

We came in the summer for a 10 day stay for a friend’s wedding. The staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you! In fact Maria arranged for my husband and I to eat at the hotel on 2 nights even though the kitchen was officially closed. We felt very special as a table was laid on the terrace for us and we enjoyed top notch waiter service. Very romantic! Food fab and Maria sent us complimentary deserts! Bar staff were great!
We felt very Covid safe! The rooms were spacious and very clean and the grounds beautiful and pristine! ’The sun loungers are very clean and in good condition! Not true of many hotels we’ve stayed in. Reception staff were very helpful, calling taxis for us even printing our PLFs for our return to the UK.
Finally, the wedding was just fabulous! Just beautiful with amazing food! Can recommend this hotel and it’s so refreshing not being part of a chain!

We came in July for a friends wedding and it was my first trip to a Greek Island. I can honestly say they couldn’t have picked a better accommodation for us to all stay in — it was amazing. The owner Maria was the friendliest owner I have ever encountered and always made us feel so welcome. The rooms were a good spacious size and were all fully functional.
The way they set up the wedding was beautiful and honestly I cannot wait to come back to Kefalonia again but more importantly cannot wait to go back to this resort to have another holiday of a lifetime!

Great beachfront hotel, among the best in the island. The outside look is in typical Ios style, the breakfast is large and very good and the service is perfect! We appreciated a lot the facilities that the hotel offers to its guests such transfer from/to the port, sunbeds in Mylopotas and lunch & dinner at Almyra by the sea.
The food out there is GREAT! There is a rental just beside the corner so if you feel like you want to go explore, you can get your vehicle in a minute with no needs to drive back to the port or to the Chora. There is a peaceful atmosphere inside and if you don’t feel to go to the sea you can still enjoy the beautiful outdoor pool. There is even a little one for the kids. We felt absolutely relaxed and well treated so I definitely recommend it to everyone looking for a good place where to stay in Ios!

We were here for my sons wedding in August. 60 people all here for a week or so. Stunning views, Maria and Georgia were amazing, very friendly staff and the wedding was faultless, special thanks to all the staff for making it a magical experience in such a stunning setting.

Very unhappy with the service. We arrive at the hotel only to be greeted by a lady who clearly does not like her job and gives us a room where the toilet doesn’t flush and the air conditioner barely works… this seemed odd as there were many vacancies, but such things happen and I made no issue of it as we were promptly given another room where everything worked well. The next day I approach the receptionist (same one who doesn’t like her job) and say that the Wi-Fi connection is poor. She says that it works great and that I have a problem with my phone 🙈 which is not the case as everyone at the hotel was having the same issue. As the day progressed, I was relaxing in the lounge as the heat was just too unbearable to stand and another receptionist asks me to leave as there was a wedding reception in progress and the bride asked for the hotel to be empty 🙈 I am in shock how I have been treated and definitely will not come back here again.

We had a one night stay as we were meeting fellow Admin from Kefalonia By us. It was really beautiful rooms provided,
Pool Towels Coffee Tea Fridge Shower Gel Shampoo. Ect. It was Imacculate throughout. The Customer service was impeccable throughout the village and Covid safety was at the up most best to ensure that everyone felt safe, which we really did. Only downfall is my Husband cannot walk very far and on a very steep hill. Transport is a must for people with a disability. 💙🇬🇷💙🇬🇷

Excellent staff. Great view clean and well looked after apartments. Have stayed here 6 or 7 times and won't stay anywhere else and have been holidaying on the island for the last 20 years.

Really the best place to stay. Been here for a week, great food, nice pool and the staff here is lovely.

Clean and pleasant but managed by Basil Fawlty. Really very funny as long as you are not the butt of the joke. A booking for twin room poolside for two elderly ladies became a subbasement with 34 steps down to it. They had to move to a different hotel.

Green and clean! It's like an oasis in the desert. Great owner and staff plus you are 5min away (walking) from Glaros beach.
