It's the best place I have ever stayed at!
First of all, the location is perfect — a 5-minute walk from the harbor, Agora or Grand Arsenali. A 7-minute walk from the supermarket (Synka). All the tourist attractions are within a short-time walk. You can get to/from the bus station in 10-15 minutes. There are dozens (or even hundreds) of restaurants, bars and taverns around. And shops. And cafes. And everything ;)
Secondly, the hosts (Xenia and Kostas) are the friendliest and most helpful people I've ever met. They are flexible, in the case of emergency they can find solutions very quickly (the airline changed our flights and we had to stay a day longer). Moreover, they provided us with tasty local treats such as pastries and marmalade (free of charge! ). Kostas showed us around and told us a lot of interesting facts regarding Chania and the historical buildings in the area. We had a few fascinating conversations with Xenia on various topics — she's great!
What is more, the apartments are spacious, comfy and simply pretty. The kitchenette is well equipped and if you need something more — just ask Xenia for help :) While sitting on a balcony we listened to the live Greek folk music coming from the tavern which is located just next to the Odyssey — a perfect concert every evening, free of charge.
