Gorgeous hotel beach is beautiful food is lovely, tasty and plentiful.

Overrated to avoid rude staff.

Really nice hotel to stay in, food was amazing with a great variety.
Majority of the staff were friendly and helpful, just the one miserable male bar tender.

The people working here makes all the difference from other hotels. I’m traveling all year and staying in many hotels in Europe, Asia and US. But I never see so genuine friendliness and hospitality. We have been here 3-4 times over the last 7 years, and it’s constant super friendly. The best food, the cleanest rooms. Nothing I want to change.

Awful hotel. We had booked and paid for our stay. We get there and they say the hotel. Is full and rebooked us to a different hotel. This other hotel is terrible and far from the beach. And to get refund through credit cad company. Looking at reviews this is a common occurance. Avoid this hotel at all costs as they are scammers.

Wi-Fi can be forgotten. Cheaper and better if you simply buy additional data volume from your provider. The food is not bad. At breakfast, however, things were often missing if you came a little later (spoon, egg cup, juice). Friendly staff.

Our reservation was canceled ahead of time but third-party website failed to deliver the message, or so we were told. Family arrived in the area (to stay in another hotel) but rushed to Santa Marina Beach when informed about the booking not being canceled. Manager outrageously indifferent, didn't show any compassion for a mistake of his partner site, refused to make any refund (and we are talking EUR 1.000), any off-season alternative visit, EVEN REFUSED TO CHARGE CREDIT CARD WITH ONLY HALF THE AMOUNT, as he was obliged by local (greek) law. This tainted my family holidays. Have filed motions and requests with Mastercard, booking site, local and EU Consumer Centers and awaiting legal advice.

We spend two weeks here at Pearl Wing. Best place, lovely and friendly staff. The restaurant at the Pearl Wing was amazing. Great food, fresh made and great taste. Anastasia made a great impression on US, she is a special lady we wont forget … 5 Stars from us. We Will be back.

Great town! Great part of Crete! Great hotel with helpful staff and delicious food in the hotel restaurant! We got sea view room and I highly recommend paying extra! Flash in the toilet didn't work and even this didn't spoil my experience (and they tried to fix it every day.

Dear Santa Marina, thank you very much for such an amazing 2 weeks my boyfriend and I stayed in your hotel! Food was amazing, very big variety of traditional Cretan meals, fresh veggies, delicious meat and no words to describe the desserts! All staff were super friendly and very helpful, everyone was always smiling which made our stay unforgettable! I would like to make a special mention to Theodor from relaxation pool/pool bar — he was one of the most amazing people we met during our stay! It certainly wouldn’t be the same without the great people working in the hotel! Just came back 2 days ago and already missing this place! Thank you very much and hope to come back again one day! No animation or music direction l forbidden animation that for children nothing around the hotel an evening on the week that ends at 10pm non-conforming hotel for the elderly and handicapped as marches everywhere.

Beautiful hotel! Has a resort feel to it where you're secluded from the outside world if you want just time by the pool or on the beach. They offer good services like escorts to the room with your luggage, large breakfast buffet, animation teams and more. The location is along a lively strip but next time, I'll plan it so we stay closer to Xania since that's where most of the night life is …

First of all the hotel is a really lovely place to stay and is very asthecially pleasing. The staff are friendly and there for you whenever you need anything while you stay, this goes for not only the reception but the restaurant, bars and cleaning staff. The food is above average offering a wide selection of buffet items for the meals of the day however drinks are not included and aren’t cheap if you go half board however remains similarly priced to its surrounding bars. The room we stayed in was enough to keep me happy but wasn’t anything special. The shower was quite cramped to get into and the “double bed” was really two singles pushed together. On the other hand the air conditioner was useful when the sun was blistering outside. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better with shops and bars along the front and the city of Chania a 10-15 minute bus journey away which we visited multiple times as it was so nice. The beach is a stones throw from the restaurant with free sun beds however you may need to cross the road to get to the main complex of pools and main section of rooms via the underground passage Overall the Santa marina hotel is definitely worth 4 stars as it made my stay feel luxurious and enjoy my time there.

Polite and friendly staff (most of them). Rooms are OK, cold floors and bugs though. Humid rooms makes the clothes feel wet without being used.

Unfortunately we were not informed that our room is on the other side of the road. Unfortunately, the cleaning was also right next to us. The staff hardly speaks German. The transfer took 3 1/4 hours.

Very nice hotel, very nice and helpful staff. Excellent Buffet, clean room and nice size. We were the only francophones and the staff went out of their way to talk to us. Special Mention for the bartender Namoussos as well as a waitress at the restaurant that unfortunately I do not know the first name.

Mixed review — the main area of the hotel by the beach is very nice and the beach access is terrific. The food is below average and the hotel side across from the main hotel is absolutely terrible. Not clean, very old, awkward access in the bathroom. Terrible beds and bed sheets. Would NEVER return! Would give it a 1 or 0 star — except for the Beach side — it is mush nicer. So, if you choose this place call and make sure you room on the Beach side of the road!

Very nice beach, all inclusive very good, drinks are served in large glasses. Food is excellent, very large selection. Rooms are rather small and slightly used.

Very kind staff, good menu at restaurants (but You may skip a la carte restaurant, little bit pretentious and nothing special in the carte). 2 pools, but small space for children in them. Sandy beach with nice viev of island and Chania. Rooms, well, like in Greece hotels, nothing special, nothing appealing. All to all — goodplace for sleep and eat, and rather for small time at the beach and pool.

Great location, all inclusive true, nice pools, good service, discreet food, restaurant on the sea.

Welcome to the Santa Marina Beach Hotel lottery! If you have a room close the lobby of the hotel, I'm sure it's great! But I wouldn't know, because I got a room on the outskirts where it will probably take me 45 minutes to post this review, or a quick trip down the lobby where the Wi-Fi works much better. If that's okay with you, great! But that's not all! If you're unlucky enough, you'll get a room with no AC! In the middle of August! But that's okay because you will be provided with a small fan as a consolation prize. Enjoy!

We spent our summerholiday in this hotel. My husband, my 8 year old stepdaughter and I. First of all I want to say, that the hotel is very nice and clean. The staff there is very polite and helpful.
Our room was okay, it was a doublebed and an extra bed for our child. The maid came every day, we got fresh towels and she arrange the dolls from our daughter on the bed, that was very sweet. Our daughter was very happy about this.
The Food was okay. I find it very sad, that there was not much fish or seafood by the buffet. I know you have international guests, but you could make more food with fish or seafood. I mean, your hotel is next to the ocean. The best part on food for our family was the breakfast. Lots of food, fresh fruits and vegetables, scrummbled eggs and bacon. It was very delicious.
The Beach by the hotel was amazing. Clear water, sand, no stones. Perfect for our daughter, because you can go about 50 Meters in the ocean, and is not deep. She was very happy, and we were too. Also
I think its okay to pay 2, 50 € for one sunbed (in Italy did we pay 7, 50€).
It was a nice holiday, but I think for us is one week enough. 2 Weeks would be probably boring. There is one hotel after the other, some mini-supermarkets, beauty spas everywhere and some restaurants.
It was okay for one week. And the local people are really, really nice — at the airport, the taxi driver, the hotelstaff and the staff in the restaurant nearby.

Me and my boyfriend just got back after 6 nights staying here. Could not ask for more than what we recieved. Staff were lovely and helpful. Food was to die for. Room was very clean and had an amazing view of the beach. Only downers was small bathroom and bath. Not many gift shops or supermarkets close by have to either get bus or walk for ages to get decent places. Apart from that was a great experience and we were both happy with the holiday as our first holiday away together.

Everything is perfect. I expected the best and got that. I did lot of research picking up the hotel (traveling with kids) and this has met my wishes. Very, very nice staff, great food, nice & clean peaceful room with a pool. Beach is good for the kids, sandy and clean. Sad thing is that we must leave the hotel and Crete! Hoping to come back! Awful, I would give zero stars if I could You have to pay for Wifi! You have to pay for the own safe in your room to keep your things safe! No hot water for 3 hours on arrival so we couldn't shower before going out. The Wi-Fi we paid for didn't work which made our stay hell as I have to respond to work emails, When I complained I was told its my device and my fault but not even my girlfriend could get signal or I was told it will work on the balcony, then the manager told me its a problem with distribution. They agreed to refund my 5 euros which they seemed to think was a great deal and I should be grateful for this? Our key reader fell off the wall exposing live wires someone came to fix it and just walked out of the room without saying anything. I must have visited reception maybe 6 times often with other visitors complaining alongside me. Our flight left at 6am, meaning we would miss the breakfast I paid for, I asked due to all the problems I encountered could it be swapped for dinner, I would even pay a little extra, no sorry we will arrange breakfast for you at 5am our breakfast was stale bread, frozen butter, coffe from yesterday and really cheap cereal. When the manager responds here saying how sorry he is, I know your not, none of your staff really cared about any of our complaints and if you are then refund our money because you don't deserve it. There is one nice thing about the hotel which is the view. Thanks Santa Marina for a great stay.
