Good hotel, the rooms wash the floor every day (very convenient if you bring sand from the beach), breakfast is quite varied, the products are fresh. Bathrooms look decent all white and clean. The staff are friendly and friendly: offered to choose the room on their own from all the free ones. Rooms are standard: the beds are very comfortable, the air conditioning is weak, you can sleep with the windows open, but sometimes dogs bark there. There are a lot of mosquitoes and they fly from the bathroom, it is better to take from them immediately. Dogs bark just endlessly.

The hotel itself what you'd expect for the price. Rooms are clean and tidy if a bit dated. Breakfast is good as is the pool. Staff are excellent, very welcoming and helpful fixing any issues immediately.

Lovely quiet place, ideal for family. Cozy place. Friendly and kind stuff. Clear rooms. The street is really noisy, but it wasn't problem for us :). Just enjoy everything else!

Cosy, caring, children loving personnel. Pool bar was open every day (serving drinks, Greek snacks, icecream, coffee; also pasta), and VERY cheap: ouzo 1, 50€ Pool open from 1000-2000, no night swimming, quite common times. Free sunbeds and umbrellas, pool is large and up to 2, 90m deep. Included breakfast typically Greek: olives, feta, watermelon, yoghurt and honey,. Furthermore two types of cold cuts, cheese, cereals, scrambled eggs. Lemonade, coffee, tea. Free Wi-Fi all over the place, sometimes electricity was missing due to local powerplant — issues. Rooms including safes, but are only powered with the room key, which you can't leave there (to charge devices), but it's even better so in the holidays. 3 minutes to the beach: ammos beach bar sells TWO sunbeds and umbrella for 3€ daily — incredible. There are also pavillons for 10€, and you get fruits, juice and water. Some nice restaurants and shops around. Really nothing to worry about.

First of all, it is worth mentioning that the rooms are underground. The bathroom is very small and the shower actually does not exist.
The staff was, except for a nice lady, very rude and fat.
The promised pool bar did not exist and the pool opening hours are very poorly chosen and rob any fun.
We were also forced to check out at 12:00 pm, although our transfer to the airport was only 4 hours later.
My recommendation: Put a few euros on it and go to a decent hotel. You can't do that.
Bottom line: like dirt.

Always take the mosquito repellent, anti-hum or something! This is really the only crap.
Overall highly recommended.
Tip:
Anyone who is longer in Amoudara should definitely take a rental car (we did it at holiday cars). Highly recommended are Rethymno, Agia Galini and Matala.

This is a wonderful quaint little hotel in a great spot in Amoudara! I stayed here for eight days on my first trip to Crete and I was by myself. It is family owned and I had the pleasure of dealing with two sweet ladies who were willing to accomodate and tell little amusing stories to brighten my day. By the time I left, I felt Maria and Aristea were my sisters. It is located in a great area with plenty of shopping and restaurants. It was simple and clean and a very pleasant place to stay. If you are looking for a fancy resort, this is not your place. But if you are looking for a comfortable, clean simple place to stay where you are treated like family and you can experience the true nature of a giving and generous people, book your stay here immediately.
