The complex is beautiful and clean. The staff are all really friendly and welcoming. The food choice is fantastic. There are enough pools that sun beds are plentiful and you have access to a private part of the beach. We have throughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return.

Friendly vibe, all the staff are so lovely. Such a pretty complex. Lots of different areas to explore as the mood takes you. Restaurants and food are amazing and it’s right on the beach. Highly recommend.

What can I say…amazing! Thank you Creta Maris for the best holiday we have ever had! Our boys loved every second of the entertainment. The staff were exceptional. The food delicious. The service amazing. Creta Maris is like being part of your own beautiful Greek village family! Would highly recommend. This huge facility well thought out. Restaurant too noisy but with the crowd. Evening shows only in one area, you have to walk completely through the large facility to get there. Food very, very good. Everything well maintained! Lots of children 👍

About the stones that lie over a small hill you should think again (direction Aqua-Park) Attention they are mega slippery and I have already laid 🙈 down there
Furthermore, you should think about the prices in the arcade for children. Personally, I find it far too expensive. The stuffed animals in the gripper arm vending machine are also firmly stuffed back in the next day.
All in all, I would drive here again at any time.

… great place to be… especially for families with smaller kids. Adults also find a nice & quite place at the Spira bar where usually no kids are placed. Food is good and various due to several restaurants located all around the huge hotel complex. Staff is excellent. So no worries to book your vacation here.

Creta Maris — a perfect choice for an "all-round carefree holiday". Everything fits and the facility is just great. It was built like a small fishing village. Very authentic with great attention to detail. Exemplary, large and clean rooms (we have booked a family room with an additional extra room for the children). All-inclusive with 1+: from the main restaurant to the many themed restaurants and the bars scattered everywhere — just great! Direct access to the (private) sandy beach from the pool with countless loungers and towel service. Again, the bar right on the beach with soft music in the background. Great staff that fulfills every wish immediately and is always nice and in a good mood. In short: a feel-good holiday.

Just got back from an amazing stay, 1st time here but most certainly won't be our last. Everything was just perfect. Staff were all amazing, room was spacious and very clean, with breathtaking views. The whole resort has something for everyone. Covid situation has been handled brilliantly, never once did we feel concerned. Highly recommended.

All were in close care with the customers. The green approach is one of the strengths. The rooms are varied, for all tastes and prices. The Waterpark — a chick of happiness for children and adults. We want to go back there, if deconfinment allows. The spring, the staff, the atmosphere will be missed very much.

Absolutely amazing hotel, after staying here once a year in the past 7 years, I can recommend this hotel to everyone, who is planning their stay on Crete. The atmosphere is very quiet, relaxed and also super familiar.
Everybody is friendly and always there to help you with all your problems.
The food has always been great, but definitely improved over the past few years. The rooms are also very nice, maybe not that big, but they got everything you need and are super comfortable. In general the whole hotel represents a Greek village and does offer a very Greek atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Fantastic holiday here for us. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. It’s a beautiful resort, with a wonderful beach. Very disabled friendly and they have let us keep our room until it’s time for us to leave because of my disabilities. Food is excellent, the five hour, slow barbecued chicken is probably the best I’ve ever tasted.

We stayed for the 2nd time in Creta Maris and it was wonderful! Great hotel, friendly staff, great food and a really nice brand new waterpark! Nothing is too much for the staff when you have a question. And what I appreciate the most: you never have the feeling you’re in a large hotel, always available beds at the pool, not too crowded because all the pools and restaurants are wide spread over the resort. We loved it!

It's been five times that I go there is every time it is really tipic Greek is I put know because I myself have the Greek family.

Loved all of it. Very beautiful resort, friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are very clean and their size is sufficient. We had a garden and loved it. The food is very good and beautifully served. The Italian restaurant is amazing, the BBQ is the most beautiful, sitting on the seashore and the buffet is adorable (compensating for BBQ itself that was not on a very high level. But it is the only negative note I have, and it's marginal). I am confident to recommend Creta Maris Resort for your vocation.

Good big resort. The beach is pretty long but there’s no fence or anything that separates the hotels sun beds from the public beach ones. Food was fine however most drinks/juices were really low quality, tasted too artificial. I understand most all inclusive hotels say they get their drinks from local companies to support them, but we prefer all inclusive hotels which provide us with standard quality, brand type of drinks. Hotel rooms are spacious and clean. However the service level could be improved.

Really big room. The food by the beach wasn't great, but the main restaurant is great. Great selection of pools. Super service — our 4 — year old fell at one point and grazed his knee. They checked on him multiple times over the following days, including calling our room a couple of times. Good location to the local town and amenities. Couldn't really fault the place.

It's a beautiful hotel. It's a big area. It's a gorgeous warm sea. Delicious food. Good Wi-Fi.

Great Resort. Most Restaurants were wonderful. The Platia was not. Great breakfast. Super clean, nice air conditioned rooms. Lovely village like set up. Beaches were fun and kid friendly with minor snorkeling fun. Really comfortable late check out procedures. Restaurant for dinner require reservation and have dress code. Closed toe shoes for men and no plastic sandals or beach wear for ladies.

A chic hotel by the sea. At the entrance, the front desk has a fantastic jewelry store. Russian-speaking seller-consultant Irina so "deliciously" explains and shows about products that you buy with pleasure and get some positive energy from wearing and owning. I bought my wife earrings and a pendant, and iama of a silver ring — both satisfied.

A quality hotel complex! The Cretan are very hospitable, make efforts to speak French and are very helpful! Large and pretty pools, restaurants serving very qualitative meals. On the beach and all ready for a lively city centre for beautiful night walks. We had a great stay and found no defect… Thank you!

Excellent for families with children 4+ years old. We have a 1.5 year old and a 5 year old. Our oldest is enjoying the slides in the pool, the mini club, the food, entertainment etc. However with the buggy for the little one is not so easy to move around and we have stairs to get to our room. There is no soft play or sand pit… Only a small playground for him. All the pools have a fenced (to separate it from the rest of the pool) shallow area, which is good. There are several restaurants, all buffet and all good. The activities for adults are good, both during the day and at night (although I can't really take part because of the kids, I only did and aqua gym class and it was nice). The staff is always kind and friendly with the kids. Recommended — I didn't put 5 stars only because I have a toddler and it's not ideal for him.

Great hotel, built like a small village. Very good food. Large, clean room with terrace overlooking the Olive Garden. Friendly and helpful staff. Beach a couple of steps away. Several swimming pools with a party for the children. We are very happy with this stay. We recommend!

We spent 10 days in May 2018 as 2 adults on a wonderful holiday in a very well-kept, clean and great hotel.
The short transfer from Heraklion Airport to the hotel is optimal.
Breakfast and lunch are offered in two restaurants, one of which is in the enclosed space (has the flair of a large canteen, sometimes very noisy, depending on the number of holidaymakers and time), the second restaurant is located directly by the main pool and you have the opportunity outdoors Or to dine inside. In the evening, there is also the possibility to eat in one of 4 themed restaurants, but this is only possible by registering online beforehand. Since the food was often only lukewarm, I would give the otherwise excellent and beautifully decorated buffet, or A la carte menus 4 out of 5 stars.
The main house is surrounded by many small white cottages, almost seems like a small village in its its worth, with dreamlike and lovingly landscaped green spaces.
7 pools and a long clean sandy beach of about 250 m offer the approximately 1800 guests enough bathing facilities.
Rooms are spacious, with minibar, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, as well as balcony or small garden. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Room service was great, and laundry service is also available at an additional cost. The all inclusive drinks at all the bars were very good, as was the fast and friendly service.

We stayed for 6 nights. The food was amazing and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Great family resort or if for a relaxed atmosphere.

Amazing! We stayed for 5 nights all inclusive at the resort. The staff were great, so friendly and really helpful. Loads of activities on offer to keep you occupied if just lounging in the sun isn't enough! Beach and pool area available for lounging. The room was perfect! And the food was totally amazing. Loads of different restaurants to choose from meaning lots of variety and all of it great quality. The resort itself was immaculate. And has great wheelchair access across the site. And to top it all amazing views and so close to the sea! Can't wait to go back!

It is amazing place, esp in the spring. Just like small city where only happy and smiling people live. Great crew, delicious food, amazing place, very pretty beach. Lot of attraction within 100 km around. So whatever you want to lay on a beach or travel around it is good choice.

The nicest of the hotels I know. Everything is perfect, the establishment, the rooms in perfect condition. This was my second stay and after two years, we see that the establishment has further improved services and facilities. Bravo to the team of 340 employees who do everything for the well-being of holidaymakers.

Creta Maris Beach Resort is a fantastic hotel! all the staff are great, the animators are very welcoming! We went to this hotel at the last week of April 2018 but the heat is extraordinary, it was daily 28 °c except when we arrived but the pools and the sea were great to freshen us up! and the animations are also very cool, without forgetting the photographers who make us great memories.

Hello we have a one-week stay nothing to say everything is perfect. C is the second time that we have and the quality remains the same, or better. The hotel invested in new equipment. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. At the level of restaurants it is perfect. The bar offers a wide selection of cocktails. The staff is small care. A small downside to the music is a bit loud in the restaurants. But it remains a critical minimum.

Wonderful place to stay for vacation. If you go there, they have the All-Inclusive option. If you choose this option you can everything and whenever you want.

An amazing resort is the best way to describe "Creta Maris". The good: 1) I've never ever recieved such a special hospitality and so many smiles in such a small period. 2) Everything is so big, and abundant: — Huge amount of food, freshly made, very very tasty. — 6 all-inclusive restaurants, several all-inclusive drinking bars, with great alcohol/cocktails selection (Snacks are included as well). 3) A huge area where you find yourself failing to leave, since there is a lot to see (Hotel amusment team for example), and a lot to do (6 swimming pools, private beach, massage & spa, and many more). 4) I could continue all day long, yet there's one thing I wanted to highlight once more — the attitude of the crew, simply amazing! 5) ‎By the way, we wanted to get out of the resort and see other things (It appears that there are much more to see and to do outside the resort), but it's hard to leave when all you want and need is within the place. 6) You'll enjoy, I assure you! The "bad": The resort is highly maintained, yet quite old.

We mostly enjoyed Creta Maris, don't mistake my three stars for a bad review. There are a number of shortcomings though, things we've become used to in other places and Creta Maris does not offer. All inclusive for example was really all inclusive but the variety of choices is not really on par with other similar offers. We often had the sensation that the food was mostly fast-food-like. Also for a Greek hotel there was surprisingly little fish on the menu (little variation on this also). The fact that they close off the pools at 6pm was also not very nice. Service was nice but does not stand out in any way. The turndown service was not as regular as we'd have expected from a 5 star hotel either. So all in all we would rate Creta Maris as a pretty standard location. It does not stand out as exceptionally nice or anything. It was also not the worst we've been an.

Good hotel. Huge plant and seemingly enough lying down. Unfortunately, the food was not special and I also lacked the locality. The bathrooms could have been cleaned better.

The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is very good.

Really beautiful resort. It’s big, make no mistake. But offers everything: good restaurant (s) (there are multiple to choose from), a Hammam/Spa, sport facilities and direct beach access. Other beach stores and a harbour are a stroll on the beach away. The best part about the hotel are the bungalows. Really beautiful with olive, orange and lemon trees in between. Just relax on one of the typical Greek blue chairs.

This Hotel Complex is amazing! The food in the different Restaurants are really delicious and there are so many Bars and Pool's. It's hard to find the best place to relax ;)

Very nice and well-kept complex with direct access to the beach. The facility is built into the hillside and is separated by a low-lying road that can easily pass through two bridges. At the bars there are decent espresso machines and therefore also, for example,. A delicious latte Machiatto.

All in all good, but 5 stars. During the holiday season you should not drive, there is a lot going on, not necessarily towards the end of the season. Service great. Food tastes very good, definitely reserve the restaurant's.

This is a great hotel! We had a lovely time there, first and foremost made by the welcoming and helpful staff, who went above and beyond for us even before arrival. The hotel itself is huge, offers plenty of activities and good restaurants (especially the dinner ones). Highly recommended for a family vacation.

Beautiful hotel complex, with 6 of everything — pools, restaurants, bars, … Brilliant food selection, we always tried to taste everything which is impossible! Very nice staff, clean and tasteful rooms, clear blue sea… Everything you want from a relaxing splurging vacation.

The food is good but I visited many "all inclusive" hotels and it was so so. cleaning is average. service is poor. the classic garden view room is far from the beach. animation team is nice.

Beautiful grounds. The room was quiet. Spacious room. Sun loungers at the main pool should be occupied in 7:00-7:30 and sit on them until 8:30 otherwise the towels are removed.

I love this place and for a cheap 5 star, they've done good. Food is unrealistic, gourmet dishes look amazing and overall vibe was good. I found myself standing quite close to the desert bar aswell. I'm a bit disappointed that you could only book a restaurant once, seeing as you can only have one meal there and that's it. Wouldn't recommend staying for a log time if that's not what your looking for. Rooms were good, a little dated and weren't many English channels on the TV included. Service was unbelievable, cleaning the rooms every two days and replacing the towels. I recommend this for travellers who are staying for about a week.

5 themes restaurants, as well as a main restaurant offer nightly entertainment. Food fantastic. Especially the restaurant Estia is recommended. It is characterized by its special service and his great buffet.
The room was big and clean, great balcony with sea view and nice large bathroom.

A very nice facility with super friendly staff. 2kg weight gain to go on account of the excellent cuisine. ;-) Elini — a waitress from the restaurant … a true gem … always a engelsgleiches Smile; always a lovely word … THE type of mom, you just have to love… Popi of the "to Steki"-Bar — a real sweetie to Cuddle… my son loved them! In the plant, unfortunately, the same bad habit as it is everywhere — the morning routine of Reserving of Sunbeds with towels … and nothing (! ) is made the to stop. Sometimes the Lie for hours, until after noon empty … only covered with towel, a book or similar I had this addressed — we build on the insight and the voluntary nature of the guests, because you're massively into Trouble, than to get active against this bad habit was going on — stay on the track again, the few Ordinary — the egoists, it is still shit, no matter. THIS is a 5-star hotel, absolutely unworthy. Therefore, also no 5stars from me. There are guests, the needs of such a Hotel is not easy! Sometimes you have to simply do without. Commerce at any price is questionable. On the table at a specialty restaurant of children sitting with a loud plärrenden game consoles or iPads — the parents sit next to it and Parking your child in front of the screen etc, I say no more — the style of hat you or not! Probably noticed we are talking about a 5-star house!

Great super nice facility, like a cute village and also top in shot. Unfortunately, the drinks are a disaster. The "bar operations", I say extra because these are not bartenders, make your Job absolutely listless and partly also unfriendly. On whims to hear anyway. The juices, the one in the Restaurants themselves can bring, you can give. Horribly sweet and artificial taste. Irgendsoein Instant Powder Juice. For a 5-star house for 280-300€ the night an impertinence. The food in the Großrestaurant is time so time so. The appetizers are ok to good. Only in the 4 theme restaurants, the you once a week to visit, the food is really tasty. Especially in "Pithos": the Hammelkeule with yogurt and honey is the Hammer. But then you take a SIP from the drink (also the offered wines) and you have to shake. What a contrast! The harness is always quickly cleared away, and in all the Restaurants is paid to cleanliness. This Hotel you should only with Breakfast book. Then according to Old Hersonissos drive and in the old taverns to eat. Then comes probably cheaper too. Oh Yes, the Minibar is only 1x padded, after that it costs money. What a bullshit. The beach is ok. Many stones and rocks in the water. To the left, in the direction of the sea, the stones are much less. Otherwise, the Pools are quite nice and good for relaxation, except at the Pools on the beach. The are crowded and very loud.

We had a wonderful time at Creta Maris Beach Resort. Our 12-year-old son just loved the whole package — the amazing choices of food, wonderful cuisines from the Resort's restaurants; the breath taking beaches; the wonderful accommodation (we had the Bungalows), the swimming pools and so forth. But most importantly the friendly staff who are so helpful, and especially the great an energetic Team who worked tirelessly to provide visitors with our daily activities of Aqua Aerobics, Zumba, football, volleyball, dart games etc activities. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

We stay at this hotel in August 7, 2014-August 15, 2014, and we had a wonderful holiday. Cleanliness, location, activity, impeccable. Just a small criticism, not enough variety in meats, otherwise, everything was perfect.

We were in a bungalow, and it was very well equipped, even an ironing board (but I'm not served me! ) happiness in this hotel. The staff is super nice, and the French language, which is not the case in some hotels.

We stayed at the hotel last year and this. Everything is fine, have not regretted that went.

I stayed with my wife at the Creta Maris 1 to September 15 (Bravo Maris).
The property is very large and divided into two parts, separated by a road open to traffic, but there are two comfortable bridges that serve as link.
The part farthest from the sea is the Italian one, the other international cuisines.
Forest level the village is very good, with many pools and plenty of lounge chairs, there is room for everyone.
The beach is small but with many chairs, the sea if not too choppy looks very beautiful colors.
The staff is very friendly, and the whole village is very clean, as was our room, a bungalow. Some have complained about the presence of carpets in the rooms of the ground floor building.

Excellent welcome, great place, quiet if you want it quiet and lively if you want it lively, nice services for kids and families. Above all a good concept of local experience, local products, efforts to protect the environment, while providing a great standard of service for a modern holiday resort.

After 3 x Creta Maris since 2010 never again! 80% of Israelis and Russians, 20% of Northern Europeans. The Russians and Israelis behave a Scrum to the buffet very badly, in the restaurant. The men in short trousers though long pants are required. Nobody cares about that. Leave an extremely unfriendly people who at once fully loaded 3 plates and eat nothing, but a mess at the table. Staff was totally overwhelmed with these guests, but still friendly. Bottom line: when the guest structure never again Creta Maris.
