I higly recommend Anna Maria Village. We visited the hotel in May for our wedding, we stayed there one week. The hotel is located in Hersonissos, about 30mins by car from Heraklion. The rooms are really nice, cleaned shiny everyday. We had there breakfasts and dinners as well. Everyday there was a big variety of food, which was delicious and a way better from the others hotels which we have visited. Especially on the dinner, which in my opinion is worth to take as you stay there. You can try the greek food and also seafood. There were always several main dishes to choose, some sweets, fruits and other. The service was really great, starting from the barman and finishing with the waitresses. The view from the hotel rooms is nice. There is the swimming pool available as well and the hotel is located only about 10mins by feet from the seaside. The nature which is surrounding the property is beautiful with many flowers. Late check in is not a problem — you just need to let the owner know about it. The hotel is being managed by an amazing family, who can help you with everything what is needed. Manolis did everything for us to have a comfortable holiday and made us feel that we are friends from a long time. Thank you once again for everything! Ευχαριστώ πολύ, όλη περάσαμε πολύ ωραία! 😊

I can only recommend the Hotel Anna Maria Village. I have been there a few times now and am treated very friendly and beforehand each time. The rooms are absolutely clean. The breakfast perfect. Again and again! :)

We visited the hotel Anna Maria Village in June and are very pleased with the rest. Immaculate cleanliness in the room, new plumbing, beautiful view from the balcony, kettle with a small set of dishes. The hotel is located in a beautiful garden. Cozy atmosphere, excellent team of workers. Good breakfasts and dinners. The choice is not big, but fresh and tasty, a lot of fruit. The hotel has a great bar and restaurant. We spent several evenings there. Great selection of drinks. To the beach 400 meters through the park of a nearby hotel. The best choice to rent a car in the office nearby. So it is possible to travel around the island, explore beautiful places and beaches. We went to the Star beach. A very nice beach for those who love comfort and entertainment. The hotel is very suitable for couples and families with children. Here they are loved and welcomed. You can write a lot about this wonderful place. We are in Crete already 7 times. And this one was the best!

Very unusual display of art in various material situated in extensive gardens. The artist/owner of this property very friendly as is his wife… interesting place to visit for all ages.

We stayed at the Anna Maria Village hotel in July 2018.
The overall experience of the hotel is all very heartfelt, calm, homely, very friendly. Manalis and Alex — you're super! Carry on!  
All the hotel staff are English-speaking, Manolis speaks Russian perfectly.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
The small room is very cozy, in front of the room is a table and chairs on which we often rested. The room is full of all possible cutlery, teapot and corkscrew, from electrical appliances — hairdryer, air conditioning, TV and kettle. The basin, iron and ironing board were brought on request. The only thing missing in the room is the shoe spoons) but we had our own.
Cleaning and maintenance 10 out of 10. That's perfect! Girls are great! Each room takes at least an hour. Once a week general cleaning with window washing! In the number of towels we honestly eventually lost count, asked to change, changed and added without problems.
The grounds are very clean and beautiful.
The pool is well-groomed, the sunbeds are new and in sufficient quantity.
The lush vegetation throughout the hotel creates additional comfort, it is clear that it is regularly cared for.
We booked breakfasts with breakfasts. There are no complaints about the quality of food, but I would put 8 out of 10.

Amazing rooms, very close to the beach, friendly staff and platanias is a great place for tourists. I have been many times and have never been to a better hotel.

Nice clean rooms, with all bath and cooking amenities, in the center of Platanias and next to market, bus station, food and drinks. Rooms very sunny in the morning hours, so you can't sit on the balcony, but the rooms have a very cool temperature inside even without air conditioning. Has a small pool in front, and is next to the beach if you prefer the sea. Lia in the reception is very helpful and kind. Definitely recommend it, good value for money.

It’s a little paradise for me!

Plus this hotel is that it has an inconspicuous facade and very cozy courtyards. Neat white houses in flowers. The room is great, brand new, spacious, clean, in a minimalist but elegant design. There is free air conditioning and waifai, refrigerator, kettle, hairdryer. Our roommates were mostly young Russian-speaking families with children, as well as Russian and German pensioners. The staff are responsive and friendly. Sea a hundred meters away. To the center of Khersonisso about half an hour on foot.

Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and the dinners are not repeated for 7 days of arriving. Close to 2 beautiful beaches. The service staff is polite, helpful. I Recommend for a relaxing holiday and traveling on a rental car.

We had a very nice holiday week. The hotel is very clean, hospitable and you always get a good tip for excursions and attractions. We like to come back.

Nice relaxing atmosphere friendly staff.

A good option for those who are going to relax and travel around the island, to walk and not to sit all the time in the hotel. Tasty food, although the buffet not very varied. Cosy hotel with private apartments. Elegant balconies, verandas, beautiful garden.

Welcome, very nice. Small houses scattered on a field not very wide like a maze. Lacks a little clarity but surely in the summer for freshness.

Great hotel. For breakfast and dinner a small selection of food. The beach is a 10 minute walk. There was one case where we wanted to get something out of the window. Our room was on the 1st floor, at night we opened the window (it was hot), I woke up at 5am at night (from what I do not know, but well that woke up) and saw someone shine a phone and pulled a hand, but did not have time to pick up. I do not advise to open the window at night.

We are at the hotel Anna Marija"s 20 June, leaving on July 4. The first two days, the strong wind blew and the sea Shtormilo, no one was bathed, but then the weather Naladilalas, the Sea 24 deg. And then it's hotter. It's July 1, 33 deg. The Shadows and the sea, probably 26-27 Gy. The hotel is very nice. Quiet and beautiful. It's quiet at night. No noisy hotels nearby. The road to the beach: after 50 m from the hotel to the left, there will be a powerful road with palm trees. When you walk by the hotel, Annabelle will go to the big beach, but the bottom there with the rocks and there are waves. And if you want some sand, no waves, no quiet, from the hotel to the left, move on (passing the hotel Annabelle) will be the road down and sharply to the right. Will be coves. First, there's a heavy. The next, with the white Zontikomi at Cafe "Saradari", is a good staircase. Next-yellow umbrellas-light down, there's a faucet with water for nog. Bays Vaezde sand and small pebbles. Go 10 min.
At the Hotel A. Staff. Master George speaks English, and his son Manolis speaks different languages and Russian, too. The number was on the 2nd floor of 134. Pool view in the yard. Entrance to all rooms is separate. The food is quite good. Drove to Santorini and the Knossos Palace. Thank you for your good rest.

3 star hotel but who cares, the service was 5+ star. Manolis the hotel manger was available whenever was needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Anna Maria Village is a very nice place for vacation! I spent 2 weeks there with friends and we had a great time! The apartment was very comfortable, spacious and clean with views of the sea! The staff was very friendly and helpful, we answer all questions, we made. The location is great, close to the beach and close to the Centre of Hersonissos. The whole package he apartment facilities, staff, location, amenities — pool, restaurant, bar, pool, supermarket, etc. Fills us much and we have already booked our next year vacation.

What a nightmare! the room was very dirty. Low quality, small pool, by a small loud Street, breakfast — every day the same food — quite ok. Staff were Unhelpfull.
