Excellent hotel. Lovely location. no complaints whatsoever.

Superb hotel, high quality service by a caring team for us, exceptional setting, quality buffet meal and incredible cuisine at the Mournies tavern. The kindness and welcome of each person is a treasure in a place maintained to perfection.

We have just returned from 10 wonderful days at this amazing hotel, on arrival we were given a free upgrade to a villa with a stunning sea view! Thank you to the wonderful staff 💕 they are so friendly and helpful and when I told them it was my daughters birthday they put flowers on the table and brought out a lovely cake 🎂 we loved it there and will definitely be returning, thank you to everyone at the Aquila beach hotel we love you 😍 see you next year xxxx.

Fantastic experience! Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. The beach was lovely we’re I spent a lot of time. All inclusive well worth it. The bar was great. Night time vibes beautiful and to see the sunset every night was just paradise. Love it love it love.

After been working here in 2014, and loved this hotel, and the kindness of all the staff members, I've decide to spend my 2022 holidays there with my family! I am sure it'll be great as I remember…
I will rate it to everybody, families, couples, and why not to single travellers… a perfect place to relax and also have fun!

Where do you start, where do you stop?
Super beautifully landscaped complex right on the beach, with a beach bar and the tastiest milkshake we have ever drunk. Absolutely friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating.
Food is varied and delicious, freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast and the drinks are also international and are served in glasses instead of plastic cups. There is really nothing to complain about.

Love this hotel. Been there second time, but not the last. Very friendly staff — Klio is best bartender, they are always happy and helpful if you need something. Tasty food, good cocktails, clean rooms. See you next year ❤️

This place was highly recommended to me… justly. It was great there. Great family room, always all friendly & attentive. Also some animation. Great pools, of course best weather, smooth processes, large selection, good food … Repetition desired.

For me it does not deserve 5 stars. It is a 3 star. I was very disappointed. We had all inclusive but everywhere there is a supplement. The room and bathroom too small and absolutely to redo.
The staff on the other hand very friendly. The meals are satisfying.
You even have to pay for the deckchairs if you want to be a little comfortable at the beach.

A lovely hotel, the staff are what makes it, so friendly. No issues regards social distance or worries about civil. A ittle disappointed a lot of facilities either closed or not operating due to covid but I suppose it is to be expected but travelling with a teenager nothing for him to do. No daytime activities to join in and meet people. Great location, beach beautiful and plenty of shops and bars nearby.

Brilliant hospitality. Fantastic location by the seaside. Comfortable extremely clean rooms. Swimming options irrespective of rough sea due to North winds. Amazing deep water large pool ‍♂️. Many daily activities and plenty of attractions to visit nearby.

Wonderful hotel, good food! I have celiac and got special consideratipn. It is on the beach, has great sweet water pools and one salt water pool. We loved it!

Nice hotel, big but cozy, with its great beach, wonderful cuisine and friendly staff.

Great place right on the beach. Plenty of activities. The kids club team is very professional. A lot of places in the hotel to spend time after a long day on the beach or the pool. Just make sure to have at least one pair of trousers for dinner to be allowed to get in.

13 mile long beach. Loads to do from just chilling out to water sports. Also Roulis taverna on the beach is a great place to eat. Great for families.

I will write briefly: we will no longer go to this hotel. The only thing that really is the food and the grounds of the hotel. Everything else pulls on three.
Crowds of children everywhere, audibility in the rooms is catastrophic, the light has disappeared for many days in a row, mold, ants. And that's just a drop in the ocean. You can write for a long time. We won't come again and definitely don't recommend it!

A very big and good assortment of food, helpful and efficient staff, very nice place with a lot of plesant public areas and activities. The standard room is quite basic. The bed and the bathroom very comfortable.

The most important thing is not to buy a promo-room. This is a small room in the building across the road, with lost furniture, old renovation, TV idle and air con. The administration is clearly overloaded with a huge influx of guests, so our requests for equipment repairs were performed only on the third day. Not at all 5 * and not worth the money. Great food, free sunbeds… Yes, I guess that's it.

This is not a 5 star hotel but a 2 star hotel 3 stars! The staff at the beach were very friendly and the food was excellent. Unfortunately the beach bar closes at 6pm for the biggest despair of the guests as well as the reception bar which closes at 1hoo and after everyone in bed because no more distractions! No Disco nothing at all! Very clean rooms and very good food! But the animation is really 0!

And the drinks are perfect the rooms quite pretty a stunning sea view by cons maid can get into your room at any moment so advise safe.

Loved! Attentive staff, great cuisine, good service in the restaurant. The location is great. The entrance to the sea-slabs, small pebbles, I swam in the shoes. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. The pool with sea water, by the pool very comfortable sunbeds.

Great place to stay with small children. There is a separate place for children feeding, where you can always feed them regardless of the type of parents ' nutrition. Very large hotel area.

Disappointed this year on the room allocated even though TUI sent it through as a garden view I specified sea view on line and hotel said unable to assist as their allocation was garden view, even this is a joke as the view is of a car park and horrendous traffic noise. I been here many times and recommend to many but I won’t visit here again, the staff are welcoming and remember me but the management would only help if I pay another amount to “upgrade” even though my room when booked was sea view.
Booking on line caused this problem but it’s not mine to remedy. It’s between the hotel and the seller to rectify not the customer. I will not come here again or ever receive this place.

We came away to have a nice relaxing holiday,  and I'm pleased to say that the hotel and it's staff played a big part in helping us both unwind. During our stay, we were in the Bungalow accommodation away from the main hotel building — it is probably worth pointing out that whilst these are called bungalows, quite a few of them are accessed by stairs (bungalups/bungahighs? ), so if you're opting for one of these and have buggies or pushchairs, it may be worthwhile asking for the ground floor. The room itself was spotless, and in good condition. There was more than enough room for the two of us, and the room could take four easily (with a separate twin room part of the accommodation). Our balcony overlooked a small garden, and we could just see the sea, although it was obstructed by some of the other bungalows. There's also the private beach, with plenty of loungers available. The beach is a little rocky though, so I'd recommend some kind of beach shoe — something you can actually go in the sea with. If you're on the all inclusive plan, as we were, there are a number of dining options, with some attracting an additional cost, although the prices are discounted against the full price. The main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner by way of a buffet. The range of dishes, sides, salads, desserts and cheeses is massive, with something for everyone.

Despite a sullen weather during my stay, I keep an excellent memory of my holidays in Crete and Aquitaine Rithna Beatch.

Hotel Okay, which was basically to be expected. Buffets are certainly better. Swimming pool unheated and a gym that doesn't deserve the name. 80% of the devices are defective or squeaking terribly. Complaints are not responded to.
The already very small Indoorbecken is also used for diving courses.

Excellent service. Loved the food. The only thing is really is that they don't like you wearing shorts in the dining room especially in the evening.

Lovely hotel, clean, good food, only 4 stars because evening entertainment was poor.

This hotel offers many services and quality, the staff is at the small care and we eat really very well and varied, which is rather rare for hotels offering "all inclusive" solutions. I recommend it warmly.

This place has many nice features, but this is not a 5-star hotel. Too many things didn't go smoothly, and the service is good only when it's routine stuff — they have no flexibility when they actually need to help you solve problems. Here are some examples from my 6-night stay with extended family: 1. The water-pipes in the rooms are not well maintained, and both us and my sister's family had issues with sewage water rising into the bathroom floor. 2. Rooms are not clean: walk bare-foot in your room for 5 minutes and your feet become black from dirt. (Even right after the cleaning-lady's daily visit). 3. Dinner includes a big buffet, but with absolutely no drinks, not even tap water. And they charge crazy amounts for any drinks (€4.5 for a 1.5-litter bottle of water). 4. Water in pools was too cold to enjoy, even in the indoor pool (it was beginning of October). 5. We first arrived around 8 PM after a long day of traveling and delays. For some reason they did not have the rooms we ordered available, and they actually had the nerve to suggest to put my parents together with my newly-wed young sister and her husband in the same room. 6. Of course, we did not agree. We postponed the discussion for after dinner, and went to the dining hall. It turns out there's a dress-code, and they did not let us in even though it was already 9pm, we had 4 little kids with us, and still no rooms to change clothes in. 7. We ordered a room for a couple with a kid an a baby, and got a crib.

Hotel is beautiful in itself, but already in the 2nd year a swarm of Dutch Schlager fans flew in and turned the hotel into a battlefield with a ball-man atmosphere. Drinking Gröhlende fans, 5 hours of crazy loud music, so that it was no longer possible to relax. Great Abwimmlung and appeasement of the guests. Good that the organiser offered a replacement hotel on the following day.

Excellent choice. Sea view. All included. Generous outcome of all hotel's efforts towards visitors. Great return on investment. We stayed there at the end of tourists seazon, yet, rooms were at perfect maintenance and clean level. Highly effective staff. Extremely fast handling of requests and trusted (no fake promises). Highly tecommended.

Aquila Rithymna Beach on the whole is pleasant hotel but the attention to detail is what lets it down. Opon entrance the hotel appears clean, crisp and modern with nice ground around the pools and restaurants. The rooms however a different story and could certainly do with renovation. They appear to be pulled from the 90s with dated wallpaper and carpet in the hallways and bedrooms. Keycards for entry need some work sometimes taking 10 attempts for entry or even reporting to reception for rescan. The worst, even though minor is annoying, having a safe that uses a key rather than a code needing to carry it around everywhere. The staff seem friendly most times but can be rude at others pushing passed you to get to something rather than saying "excuse me". The buffet restaurants looks great serving a wide range of food for breakfast and dinner. But the price for drinks from the bar even if you're all inclusive seem a bit pricey compared to other bars down the street. I would recommend the hotel due to great location next to the beach and shops easy car hire to sights but don't feel it's worthy of a 5 star rating compared to other hotels of the same score.

Sooo many rules… trousers at dinner for me — but women can wear what they want… oh and no rules around jeans… so basically everyone looks scruffy… just scruffy and hot. Pool towel police are militant — they think of nothing to fold and hide your towels if you step away from the pool. Customer services don't try to fix things… just tell you that is the way it is. … it is not really 5 star… for a European standard it would probably scrape 4 stars…

Great service and hospitality. It's an old hotel, but with a traditional level of service, and activities. It was fun!

The pools and gardens are lovely. Good to excellent service from the restaurant servers and the staff. Disappointing kitchen, lousy stemware combined with overpriced wine list. Our room (family) was too small, with a very little space to hang clothes in the closet.

Good but they always try to provide you with crappy rooms. On persanal experience it happened so with 3 rooms on 2 occasions. This time, the whole shuttle bus had to change rooms! Once you say that this is not acceptable, and you manage to get hold of the manager, you get a room that is ok. Reasons for change: Room stinks Room is ** but booked a ***** Group of 4 put into one room, but had booked 2 separated rooms Booked room in main building due to medical reasons, got room across a main street.

International environment, all inclusive of excellent standard. Discreet Entertainment. There is a protection group of Caretta caretta turtle nests. Pebble and Sand beach. Buildings immersed in a fantastic botanical garden with plants identified by signs.

Really beautiful place, Food excellent we were only there for 3 nights but enjoyed our stay. Evening entertainment was patchy but overall we will go back. Staff very friendly. Thanks.

Beware, this is a good quality hotel but…
part of the rooms is located in an annex that is hemmed in by two roads.
It is very difficult (or impossible) to sleep so at booking, specify the main building!
The price of water bottles and glass of wine… are expensive.

We visited twice last year for a week each in May and August. Loved our times there and going back for a two week stay in May.

We loved it so much that we're going back this year. We have no reservations in recommending this hotel to others. It was an awesome holiday and I can't wait to get back there.

Not really a five stars resort, ton of extra charges.

Certainly not 5 star. 3 what the room is concerned is everything else good 4 star. The rooms in the Mainbuilding are more modern and nicer than the "better" old Apartments. Sand with a pebbly beach. We were All In. But there is not more to fly. For families with small children, but it is recommended because you really very much for the little ones.

The Hotel and its facilities are spacious and super well maintained. Unfortunately in our stay, the Jewish new year's day have fallen into, therefore, we had to strike a blow about 500 Israeli citizens. Which, unfortunately, is extensively celebrated as the wave of the Hotel. Also at the Buffet they had for the most part, not the Behaviour as expected, there were food and tried again put back. On other guests was not taken into consideration, my two year old son was at the entrance thing, getting overthrown, nevertheless, both parents him by the Hand through the door, run wanted. The staff in the main Restaurant was with the amount of guests completely overwhelmed, this led to long Warezeiten the orders. For children only partly suitable The main clientele is Polish, Russian, and Israeli. Therefore, the childcare robot. There are German-speaking audience but in the 50+ and, therefore, naturally without toddlers. The beach is spacious and clean The food is varied and good. We were the first two weeks in September 2015 here.

Horrible room!. Looks more like 2 stars then 5. When we asked to change the staff was kind however asked us to wait for the morning till reception manager will arrive. The pictures online are beautiful however its far of what we got.

Great hotel! White, comfortable, suitable for families with children (ice cream day). Dining at the hotel is high quality and delicious. Took the car near the hotel in Spiridon tour. There is Jana speaks English, give you a map, tell you where you can own to go. Amazing scenery, mountain roads, breathtaking. Beauty! Definitely need to take the car. The hotel has a clean swimming pools, there is animation evening.

I was in may 2014 here. Simply a great Hotel. The food was delicious and abundant, all-inclusive is really worth! Great Resteraunts, a Buffet Restaurant, the tavern next to the Pool, perfect if you're at lunch a little bit get hungry. The Pool is very clean, the Sunbeds at the beach and at the Pool are free of charge. Both by the Pool and on the beach, there are Service forces, with drinks and Snacks. Also great is the small supermarket in the Hotel. We had an apartment room, very large and incredibly clean, with balcony and sea view. In the rooms it is nice and cool and quiet. The staff is very friendly, no matter whether in the Resteraunt, at the reception or in the Service. Small minuses were the Animation and the access to the sea. When you are at the Pool or on the beach, just relax, wanted, came directly animators, the a this or that game wanted to convince. Unfortunately, it was with one or the other with a simple no, not satisfied, and you had proper discussions, which simply must not be. The beach is for hotel guests only, features a Bar and is very clean. In the high season it can certainly get very busy, in may, we had little problems. As it is in Greece very often the case, access to the sea is a bit rocky, and there were large slabs sunk, so that the stones hurt. Nevertheless, it is very difficult to part. Does the great holiday feeling, however, not detract, and the Hotel would absolutely recommend it!
