Avoid, avoid, avoid! We stayed during the recent Storm Daniel which led to widespread flooding throughout Skiathos. We accept this was beyond their control but the hosts response & empathy for their guests was utterly shocking on every level. We had no food or drink for 24hours as all access to the property was flooded, we asked for water & was told they didn’t have any (! ) the family then proceeded to cook & eat their food infront of us on the courtyard veranda, we couldn’t believe what we were seeing, given our previous experiences of Greek hospitality. They provided no advice or support during what quickly escalated to an emergency situation.
Other things to note, there is no 24hr reception & no tea & coffee in the rooms despite this being within their description & they do not accept card payments nor do they check your passport details on arrival.
Overall this was an awful experience & something I would advise anyone to stay clear of at all costs.

Do not stay here! We had an absolute terrible experience!
We stayed here last week (4-5 September 2023) just as storm Daniel hit.
We had no food or water for 24 hours and when we asked the host if they had any she replied they had none, but proceeded to make a hot meal for their family and eat this in front of us, knowing we had no food or drink.
Another couple were not allowed to stay an extra night as they did not have cash, only card and she said she did not accept cards. We gave them some cash but she did not let them stay and screamed at them to leave. We had 2 twin rooms and offered them one of these rooms for the night. The host said this was not allowed as it was not policy. We stated this was an emergency and could they allow this. Again we were told no and were shouted at. They then had to leave the property in the dark and rain to find somewhere else to stay.
At no time did the host check whether we needed anything or were ok.
It was absolutely terrifying and the host did not consider our situation as tourists in a foreign country and not speaking the language.
Despite being extremely worried about the situation, the host did nothing to try and alleviate our fears or concerns. We were just shouted at and left to our own devices.
I definitely would not recommend this property to anyone and strongly advise people to avoid at all costs.

We had the bad fortune to have to stay here during the recent floods. These are disgraceful people who are just after money.
Due to the floods we were stuck in their property and could not leave as the streets were flooded. They did not offer us any water or food the whole day. Since we could not get to our new accommodation and their rooms were fully booked for the second night, some kind guests offered us to stay in their room. However the hosts did not allow that because it was against policy. They ended up ushering is out onto the flooded streets at 8pm and leaving us to knock on doors as the internet was down.
What was apparently not against policy is asking us to pay cash and offering a small discount if we didn’t ask for a receipt…
No sense of hospitality at all, just after money and treating their guests like cattle.

Iliada is off the beaten track and for me, it was tough to find, but it was 11pm after a LOOOONG day's travel and I was tired and frustrated by the driver who dropped me at the end of a cross street and said it's over there… somewhere. I texted Ioanna and she came out to find me, bless her and showed me the loveliest hospitality. In the AM, Ioanna and her mother Katerina treated me to coffee and conversation and it was the loveliest introduction to Greece. The room was excellent, the accommodations simple but perfect. The location, in the end, was perfect for touristing. If I ever come back this way, this is where I will stay!

Quiet tranquil accomodation spotlessly clean located near to Papadiamantis Street. Rooms are cleaned everyday and are comfortable and air conditioned.
A lovely seating terrace in the garden was the scene of many enjoyable discussions with Ioanna and her mother Katerina, two of the most friendly kind people I have ever met. A magical week in Skiathos. I was sad to leave. Wonderful.

Lovely family. Rooms are beautifully clean and sorted every day. So central for everything.
