Beautiful large rooms — the staff is very friendly and helpful — rich breakfast — the restaurant is really great — I was certainly not here for the last time.

I did not spend the night but the wedding that took place there was wonderful. We were well taken care of and the buffet was excellent (namely the scalloped potatoes). The patio in the center was nicely decorated and it's location provided an excellent of sun and shade along with protection from any wind. All in all it was wonderful!

Friendly personnel, spacious room and a good breakfast with many choices made my stay a good one. The only negative aspect were some marks of long use in the room itself, which I didn't felt to be a serious issue since everything was clean anderen comfy. Would visit again.

Really nice hotel in the small town of Ilmenau. Only the restaurant is a bit expensive and does not live up to its own standards. It's delicious that's out of the question, but there's just something missing. Otherwise there is nothing to do with the hotel. Super satisfied. Events are also great to be held here. There is a very nice large event room for weddings, family celebrations or even balls as I can confirm. Here with food from the restaurant, it's a good place to be. All in all, great hotel with small weaknesses.

We went to the restaurant, which is upscale. The quality of the food is good the atmosphere is nice. Service could be improved. Taken 2 stars off the rating since food is quite overpriced.

Food is really delicious and the service is ok as far as. All slightly messy sometimes, but all good. At the moment an outdoor area is being built a new conservatory and will be as it stands, beautifully large and cozy.
You should definitely always make reservations beforehand, usually gets relatively full.

Centrally located hotel and restaurant. Also well suited for larger groups (about 200 people for lunch are also not a problem! ). Due to the location directly on a main road, you can only open windows on this side of the road to a limited extent during peak hours. With the windows closed, however, the road does not bother.

I had a technical breakdown to my truck and I had to wait 5 days. Volvo technical assistance took me to this 3 star hotel. I must say it deserves one more star. I was very happy. You eat very well. You are well you have all the comfort… sauna… is so many other activities. I recommend it to everyone. Ilmenau is a fairytale place…

Beautifully furnished hotel with a beautiful location in Ilmenau at the end of Lindenstraße. Since the renovation, the rooms are great and the prices really good. The service and staff were also very polite and did not leave any wishes open. Only the interior decoration of the rooms is a bit old and does not quite fit the otherwise modern appearance of the hotel.

Easter Brunch 2018 Unfortunately, the total clean-up. Meat too hard, no choice, 13 o'clock in the hall the Dessertbuffett was already empty, so if you came later, nothing has been received. For €25 per person and whole €22 for a 10 year old child you could have expected more. The price of what was offered was not justified at all! We are very disappointed!

Staff is always nice and friendly. Sunday Brunch is very rich and good. The prices for drinks are appropriate for a hotel.

I was in the FIR for the first time and would love to come back, nice rooms clean, nice staff and breakfast left no wishes open and sometimes not off the bar so.

Super Hotel, die Zimmer waren frisch renoviert, auch wenn die Einrichtung immer noch betagt ist. Klasse vielseitiges Frühstück für einen günstigen Preis. Abzug gibt es für das zum Hotel dazugehörige Restaurant. Die Portionen sind viel zu groß und auch sehr teuer. Trotz toller Präsentation auf den Teller, werden bei dem edel anmutenden Restaurant zu viele Fertigprodukte verwendet.

I guess, the best place to stay in Ilmenau. Perfectly located. Nice facilities. Super comfortable bed. Perfect breakfast! There is also a parking (5€ for a day), but if you are lucky enough you could take a spot in front of the entrance, which is free at the weekend.

WE visit only the Restaurant, it is a little bit overpriced for this Region.

Oh, as a very Knight style hotel, very stylish. If you choose a Knight meal, the hotel will arrange your meal according to medieval rules and will climb up to the tower to see the surrounding scenery. It was a very interesting and memorable evening. Recommended index five-star. Their roast pork and roast chicken are simply delicious. Dragon Blood and pre-dinner soup are also very tasty. This is a comfortable well priced excellent hotel with great staff. Good breakfast in the morning. Comfortable beds and super shower.

A nice hotel at the edge of the forest. Enjoy the hills around! Nice place for hiking. The shopping area is also just around the corner.

They have a nice restaurant service.

Very nice hotel in good central location of Ilmenau. Everything seems very modern and comfortable. In the restaurant, the food tasted us and it went up very fixed, all thumb!

Here and there are always to the Brunch for Christmas each is again great.

Hotel Tanne would like to (so it seems to me at least), just to play up. Partly luck, partly but not. °°°°° Positive the Hotel is the following… + operation at the reception (but unfortunately not always) very friendly and with a Smile on your face; + rooms well equipped, nice and bright, clean; + fantastic bathroom (wheelchair Accessible). °°°°° Unfortunately, there are also (a couple of very annoying) Negative aspects… mattress was sags (springs were uncomfortable noticeable) ; reception was at the beginning rather unfriendly and without a smile (something unpleasant) ; — the Elevator made for anxious moments (the Creaking, noise, POPs, …). ##### The in-house Restaurant "Bel Canto" is also a certain ambiguity exists, however, the negative aspects of something outweigh. °°°°° Positive… + friendly operation; + food was very tasty and the scope perfectly; + chairs, tables, and other were of relatively high quality, and cozy; + Breakfast: Buffet was huge, well, great, varied, international! °°°°° Negative… — selection of food was very skinny.
