Very good hotel and staff in the quiet village Bad Liebenstein surrounded by lots of nature and Forrest. Good breakfast and restaurant although the quality doesn't match with the wanna be luxury facade of the hotel. Very nice wellness facilities though. Bad Liebenstein is apart from the main road very peace full and nice for nature lovers. Apart from that not much to do there, few shops and cafe's (if they are open, one of them always is). A pity according to us, as silence seekers, is the noisy and mainly in the weekends busy main road threw the village. (bikers, cars etc) You can't have it all. In spring the concerto of birdsong is heavenly in the morning and evening.

We felt very comfortable here. Great rooms, delicious food, very friendly staff at reasonable prices. The suite is ideal for families.

Goods for two Nights in the lowest Room Category. Room was small and under the Roof (could quickly get very warm with false Airs) but completely sufficient for the two of us as we only used this to Sleep anyway. Breakfast was good. Something Of everything and small Changes in the Selection every day. We did not have dinner at the Hotel so here no Rating. The spa area is advertised with its Size (700sqm). Is beautifully designed and large, always gives enough space. However, in size there is only a Steam Bath And a Finnish Sauna. May like to be 1-2 more, but it is definitely sufficient. Bathrobes are available in the Room, unfortunately no small Bag or similar for Buch/room keys etc.

The hotel is a very nice and quiet house. Very nice location. We felt very comfortable. Everything was perfect, room large and clean, breakfast in buffet form, wide selection, dinner 3 courses menu, very good cuisine. The service was friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our getaway, we like to come back.

A very nice hotel. My husband and I have been quartered here for two nights. The reception staff was is very polite and courteous for our assessment. The dinner on the first evening tasted very good and it was also plentiful.
Our room on the second floor was large and spacious. Okay, the room entrance was a little too low for my big man. What was not well planned and installed in the room is the TV screen. The view from a bed is not guaranteed by the beams in the room (which looked beautiful).
In the case of bathrobes you should also take care of a larger person and not just stay with size SM.
We were also very pleased with the planning for dinner at the concert evening.
Otherwise we cannot complain.

Room 412 We can highly recommend — in the House not everything is consistent with respect to the furnishings/ambiance. Cleanliness very good. Pricing is clearly overpriced, even in the restaurant.

The entrance area promises more than the room can hold. Everything is clean but very easy to set up. The room still has a separate kitchen and has the charm of a simple holiday apartment.
The breakfast is good for the price and also the staff was friendly.

Schicker erster Eindruck des Hotels. Als wir dann das Zimmer im 5ten Stock gesehen haben sprühte uns der Charme einer Ferienwohnung entgegen. Auf dem Tisch lag jedoch ein Informationszettel das beteuerte Investitionshilfen der Politik nicht getätigt wurden und das Hotel nun langsam in Eigenregie renoviert wird. Vermutlich haben wir also ein älteres Zimmer erwischt. Den Wellnessbereich haben wir nicht getestet. Das Frühstück war solide aber Bacon fehlte, für Männer sehr tragisch… Als wir den Aufenthalt bezahlten wurde das Frühstück fälschlicherweise berechnet obwohl es im Angebot enthalten war, nach kurzer Rücksprache wurde die Rechnung anstandslos korrigiert. Alles in allem ein solides Hotel in sehr guter Lage zur benachbarten Therme. Tipp: Die neuen Zimmer befinden sich wohl in den unteren Etagen.

Big room, TV ok, breakfast good, but could have more choice. Nice, old building.

Good hotel with nice people.

The hotel itself is very nice, we had a large light-flooded room with a truss, it was clean and stylishly furnished. The hotel we booked but because of the supposedly very good spa area and were very disappointed. On the first day it smelled quite strong after urine, on other days the smell was gone, but you could not really relax anyway. It was quite noisy, there were cheap plastic beds in the rest area, smoking in the outdoor area and since it is extremely small, every guest who is outside is forced to smoke passively. The restaurant is also not recommended. We got the wrong food and in response to the complaint "Koch is new and the menu is new". The food was not exchanged and we had to pay the full price.

Those who love peace and quiet are in good hands here. The food is super delicious. Rooms are great. The staff are very friendly. To recommend further.

The house is very nice, the staff very friendly and helpful, but at larger companies (Christmas arrangement) slightly overwhelmed. There were very long waiting times at the Menüefolge. On the other hand, we were asked 3x what we want to drink. Maybe you'll reconsider your disposition. We would nevertheless like to thank you for the beautiful evenings.
The carpets in the staircase could be renewed.

More semblance than his. The rooms are so brightly decorated that it is not at all to the hotel past. The 4 stars are probably about Christmas.

The hotel is a very high standard.
Unfortunately… not so real about the bathroom.
It's great, but in a four star hotel I don't expect a shower curtain!
Very nice staff. Service and especially the breakfast buffet läst nothing to be desired!

Bad rooms not clean, not to compare with the pictures from the web page. But the service gets from me the note 2 and the kitchen also the note 2. It was supposed to be a New Year's Eve gala, but it wasn't true.

We only had a breakfast here. We enjoyed it, average/good.

The food was very good and the staff were all very friendly. The rooms were clean but it smelled strange (K. A after sharp cleaning or something, indefinable)
The wellness area is sufficient and snuck with 2 trombones, the massage was very good!
The rooms are somehow very "naked" and lack atmosphere.
But cleanliness and good food are more important to me. Find some reviews here a little overdone.

We had booked a comfort double room with balcony, this is also really, really spacious! At closer look it was not really clean, hair in the shower and look over in the bed, curtain with black spots, cheaper furniture House carpet, which is already totally drinkable. The balcony was totally filthy, so dirty that it could perpetuate there were cobwebs in every corner (not only from yesterday! ), as well as leaves and window sills. There was a hole in the wall next to the bed and even louder dowels were openly visible head, some bodies were plaster but also very poorly made. Lack of minibar and guest solution, with key info's.
Planned was a Wellnesskurzurlaub, after booking, I've contacted immediately hotel, to book spa treatments. Here, on the phone, I was immediately stalled and not again recalled. So I signed up then again by telephone at Hotel, the staff could not help but me. I have deposited Additionally my E-mail address and asking for confirmation or acknowledgement of applications. 4 days later I received an email that no appointment is possible and I should turn on the competition.
In the hotel we learned then of the staff that there are currently only a €450 power, but has no qualifications to wellness — or beauty treatments by moving to. D. H. It is not possible to book a treatment! Asked about, that advertises the his is a Spa Hotel and hang at the entrance to a thick award we have received in response, which is 2011!

Zum Geburtstag meiner Oma sehr schön gefeiert.

Tolles Zimmer bzw. Mehrere Zimmer eher Suite. Sehr gutes Abendessen als Halbpension. Drei-Gänge-Menü. Frühstück normaler Standard. Insgesamt eher gehobenes Ambiente. Freundliches Personal. Sauberkeit sehr gut.

Geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Guter Service. Gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken.

We had an excellent 4-course-Candle-Light-Dinner. The food was excellent and the Service is really very professional and friendly. Came to the beautiful ambience in a great illuminated old hall. We will be back.

Hotel, themed, Restaurant, Spa — everything Top. SERVIE, in particular the handling of complaints — FLOP! Supposedly no contact person in the house, for complaints (hair dryer verkockelt hair of the wife) ; ( Guest should be up again after the departure log. Too bad. So actually no or only a star.

We have in June 2013 for 3 nights at the Imperial court spent and have us felt very comfortable: the room and Hotel were very clean, the staff is friendly, the food very tasty. Also the sauna area pleased us very well. The use of the back stairs was not a Problem — the Elevator is something for Lazy (also, we were from and too lazy! ). Obviously a lot has the Hotel done, since the last reviews — or were you not in the Kaiserhof Bad Liebenstein.

Unfortunately, the good overall impression of muffigem Schimmelgeruch in the hallway and standing water in the bathtub clouded.

I can "Jelu" only agree. Zickiges, incompetent staff loudly negative about guests every now and then in a delicately flavoured waiter, like a sulking Diva, any criticism is ignored. The Rest of almost all trainees who, obviously, just any Job needed. The mentality of the staff still has real GDR-style. The alleged gourmet cuisine does not even normal Standard, 4* Breakfast means: blood sausage, meat loaf, sausage, bone-breaking eggs, old bread, etc For dinner: charred sauce to a rubber-pheasant breast with, crowned by a crême brulée without any "Brulée". Wellness is more of a joke: a Sauna, a second former. Sauna steam room umgemurkst (with wood trim! ) A Minibar, a safety Deposit box or LCD TV, you may not even expect. Speaking of waiting: there is only one Elevator in the Hotel and the Sauna's about the unheated second staircase. The only Plus: very high degree of cleanliness.
